It still blows my mind that there's people out there that put together a production like this for the cost of the audience being nothing. I love the coverage. thank you for taking the time to film and edit such amazing disc golf content. I'm sure par save wants to body every person complaining in the comments.
Kevin Jones is the best commentator. He has a sense of humor, is knowledgeable of the sport and gives amazing insight of the holes. It doesn't seem forced or fake.
Holy videography Batman!!! Following the players as they walk up?!?! Slow mo reaction of a missed but, maps of where the shots were... Dude, y'all stepping it up big-time, absolutely loving this uniqueness! Also Nate Perkins with his silky smooth voice lol
Agreed. I feel like each production team brings something unique to the table and you can tell a lot of them listen to feedback and tweak as they go. Coverage looked nothing like this 4 years ago, and I can't wait to see what it looks like 4 years from now.
I absolutely love how you can see the paths that each player took to get to the basket. Really interesting data. Camera work is really awesome too. Love the camera following players to the basket. Just quality. Well done!
I'm loving the cinematic shots here from ParSave. Really makes the coverage feel like a drama and makes it easy to see the emotion in the players. This is great coverage.
"Give it the business" xD xD My buddies and I say this all the time when we play. Thanks for all your coverage. I'm seriously impressed with the level of your film quality. Top tier DG productions, right here.
30:51 This is one of the most elegant pre-fade driver shot shapes I've ever seen. It's on a completely straight line both horizontally and vertically. Look how it keeps moving upwards on the same line it was released on.
I don't need next day coverage when the graphics and literally everything looks and sounds this good... Unbelievably well done guys! And Nate Perkins is the definitely the best commentator in the game!
Why have I never heard of Par Save Productions...this is the best disc golf coverage ever 🙌 intimate feel with the camera pans. Great lighting/brightness through the trees. Graphics & shot tracing map best in class 10/10.
I'm digging the pace of these rounds by Par Save. They've been around 40-45 minutes long and I'm liking all the extra footage. Now Jomez seems too fast-paced!
This channel rules. My only criticism on your production: The scores shown up top from each player ought to immediately update after each scoring putt goes into the basket. Also, the catch cam operator needs a bit more practice even though they're still well above the curve. Thanks so much for this y'all.
39:54 There's a huge, empty market for channels with behind-the back angles like this shot here. No way would I be able to appreciate the difficulty of Cale's shot from any side angle.
i dont know how much work that would be, but i think it would be a great addition to the drone fly over if you could see a little red dot fly over the brilliant graphics on the side so we can see where the drone is while it is flying over the whole. would help me a lot to picture the whole better. but anyways really enjoy your coverage, keep up the great work!
Great coverage and commentary! My only editing gripe is sometimes you're staying on a tight profile shot of a player with no context of where the the basket is and I'm like ahhh show me where he's looking!! :) Thank you.
I feel for Cale Leiviska. I had a twenty footer yesterday on a Mach X hit about where he hit, spit out and rolled down a steep hill and I had about a 60 footer severely up hill. And Im an anhyzer spin putter.
I like the coverage, dig the shot paths and the camera work is good knowledgeable commentary though. But seriously. I know foreshadowing is tricky, and you knew what happened. But don't say Ricky isn't going to make the next eagle chance on the hole he made an eagle on. Great work and it's all good, but really. Try to let me live it, I wasn't there. That's why I'm watching lol.
Why don't you give us any idea of what the leaderboard looks like beyond the players on this card? It seems like a fairly simple graphic and is so important to understanding the developing drama of so many major tournaments.
24:2324:34 Here you can see James imitating his horrible rollaway by walking the same distance behind the teepad. (Keep watching after he leaves the frame. He keeps walking.)
After seeing Cale Leiviska, a Zac Efron look-alike, I noticed a trend. Prodigy Disc sponsors all the most beautiful people on tour, male and female. Seriously. Look at the top 8 players listed here. www.prodigydisc.com/pages/tournament-team #teamjawline
Fantastic work. "Let's call it what it is, par 4.." what's wrong with a par 3 that you're supposed to 3? Do you need to be able to get in the circle on your drive to call it a par 3? Just pondering...
@@brage733 I'm sure quite a few folks would be happy to pay to see a faster turnaround. Jomez is lightning quick. Not throwing shade on ParSave, as their work is beautiful, but I'd pay a monthly fee to see them hire more staff to get it turned around faster.
That putt by cale on hole 2 guaranteed he was at one of like 5 pts around basket where if you throw a perfect putt those rings lead you straight to the pole and straight out no chains that's why I've always said the mach x isn't the best catching basket it catches alot of crap but spits out dead center with those silly rings
The orange driver James Conrad is throwing off the tee a few times - is it a PD3? (commentators call it a Firebird, but it looks a little TOO overstable)
Thank you!!!!! I am curious though if there's any particular reason GK got their Final round coverage out before your round 2? not complaining just curious ;) Y'all rock! Solid commentary duo ^_^
45 minutes of commentary with one slip up and that’s all you can comment. Be better than that. We’re all human and doing post round production it’s going to happen every so often
@@mlgudead No one is complaining about high left putts not going in. Compare it to basketball, if you hit off center and the ball swirls out, no big deal. If it hits dead center, swooshes, but the net causes it to shoot back out and not count, that's bullshit and would make the sport look mediocre because that's random and out of players control.
It still blows my mind that there's people out there that put together a production like this for the cost of the audience being nothing. I love the coverage. thank you for taking the time to film and edit such amazing disc golf content. I'm sure par save wants to body every person complaining in the comments.
Agreed! Its incredible how entitled some people are these days
Kevin Jones is the best commentator. He has a sense of humor, is knowledgeable of the sport and gives amazing insight of the holes. It doesn't seem forced or fake.
"This is the Chase card right?" 😆 Love me some KJUSA!
Holy videography Batman!!! Following the players as they walk up?!?! Slow mo reaction of a missed but, maps of where the shots were... Dude, y'all stepping it up big-time, absolutely loving this uniqueness! Also Nate Perkins with his silky smooth voice lol
The camera work on JohnE’s putt on 4 shows just how far disc golf coverage has come in the past 5 years. Just brilliant!
Love how we can hear the players talk to their discs on this production.
Agreed. I feel like each production team brings something unique to the table and you can tell a lot of them listen to feedback and tweak as they go. Coverage looked nothing like this 4 years ago, and I can't wait to see what it looks like 4 years from now.
Absolutely best audio in the game!
Thats whats lacking in the other channels in my opinion. Too much booth yapping and not enough course noise.
Some of the GREATEST disc golf coverage online currently
I absolutely love how you can see the paths that each player took to get to the basket. Really interesting data. Camera work is really awesome too. Love the camera following players to the basket. Just quality. Well done!
OMG! I'm cracking up after every hole seeing Ricky's score card picture 🤣🤣🤣
I'm loving the cinematic shots here from ParSave. Really makes the coverage feel like a drama and makes it easy to see the emotion in the players. This is great coverage.
Kev and Nate make a great team in the booth
Phenomenal camera work focusing on these players when they’re scrambling deep in the rough, and the putting angles are fire!
"Give it the business" xD xD
My buddies and I say this all the time when we play.
Thanks for all your coverage. I'm seriously impressed with the level of your film quality. Top tier DG productions, right here.
Great job parsAve. Thank you! The graphics between holes showing each player’s lines are game changing
27:34
Now that's a cool way to express frustration after a miss. I'm gonna use that.
Nate and Kevin straight killing it on commentary. Great job guys
Love the KJ / Perk Commentary! Great insight into what the players are thinking and throwing!

Funny how I could tell which shot you we're talking about after watching this vid. :D
Just want to say we appreciate all the work you put in to get the post-production videos out ASAP! So pumped to Conrad and McCray on the same card!
I don't need next day coverage when the graphics and literally everything looks and sounds this good... Unbelievably well done guys! And Nate Perkins is the definitely the best commentator in the game!
Kevin Jones with the epic politician answer @ 14:45 -15:05. Loving the commentary and coverage guys. Thanks for growing the sport!
Fantastic coverage, great camera work. And I love Perkins/KJ commentary.
JohnE reppin all us olds!!!
Why have I never heard of Par Save Productions...this is the best disc golf coverage ever 🙌 intimate feel with the camera pans. Great lighting/brightness through the trees. Graphics & shot tracing map best in class 10/10.
Beautiful rack focus at 8:20. Love the camerawork! Thanks for the excellent coverage, PSP, and commentary, Kevin and Nate!
Yall need to give Jomez some audio tips! Lol love to hear all course fx and talking 4 sure!
Maybe cld even add in some in between hole coverage...
i've been wanting a james vs cale putter only round. this might be the closest i'll get to it lol
Dude, par save has THE BEST camera angles 100%
Can we get a best puts highlight from this tourney? The turbos, the light house, throw ins AND your cinematography... dont leave us hanging!!!
Those basket fade putts are art
what a putt on Hole 4 by JohnE
"James Conrad is a frisbee boy" -kjusa
frisbee boy take his time to prepare (over 30 s.) but who cares, he is a PRO
Jakub Novotný atleast that was a technical shot to make, not a 15 ft putt with no obstructions.
McCray looks like Santa Clause dressed as a 20 year old skateboarder that works in a car garage on the weekend.
I love those play graphics, awesome to see how the shots played out.
Great content I threw with a couple of you guys on Thursday with Ricky was a blast keep up the good work!!
I'm digging the pace of these rounds by Par Save. They've been around 40-45 minutes long and I'm liking all the extra footage. Now Jomez seems too fast-paced!
LOL! Ricky profile pic -- chilling on the grass
41:06 “James is a frisbee boy tho.” Thankyou kevin
Great camera work, Good commentary and love the little follow through maps at the end of each shot
Like the panning steady cam action. Good stuff!!!
I am itching for the back 9. I think I need to find a DG Rehabilitation Center
Really nice camera work with camera following the player after the trow, nice cinematic effect. Great work!

James Conrad tour series replica greenie! Let’s see it haha 🤣
run some JKs through a rock tumbler? lol
Looking forward to this
CrazE good putting!

Take a like for that camera angle for the JohnE McCray putt on the lighthouse hole. That was beautiful. Also the commentary so far is grade A.
I feel for Cale Leiviska. I had a twenty footer yesterday on a Mach X hit about where he hit, spit out and rolled down a steep hill and I had about a 60 footer severely up hill. And Im an anhyzer spin putter.
When I grow up I want to be like Mccray
Playing disc golf as an old man, yes. Dressing like a 20 year old skateboarder.... no.
Cale's shot on the first hole got me a little excited, and my pants flew off
good stuff

this was a fun card to watch in the woods. does anyone know what cart Ricky is using or at least sitting on hole 6?

I'm bout to take that title of most understable disc with this chewed up Kong dog frisbee. Rolls when thrown at 25% power haha
Did cale hit pole on home 1?
Haven't finished but Conrad should win due to amazing hair. McCray For that amazing beard and turbo, and Wysocki for that Profile Pic lol.
Why don’t they show the top ten standings after the each video. We want to know!!!
Woot
Okay you guys made an amazing video. A little bit less pissed about this video being so late now.
entitled impatient lul. Free content of extreme quality

Is round 2 back 9 for lead card out? I can’t seem to find it...
Uploading! Thanks for your patience!
Is back 9 coming?
Very soon!
The orange driver James Conrad is throwing off the tee a few times - is it a PD3?
(commentators call it a Firebird, but it looks a little TOO overstable)
Sure has the European Open PD3 stamp
Been thinking this since day one of them calling that a firebird uh look at the stamp peeps
In his in the bag on Johnny Discgolf's youtube he says its a firebird. Its just got the EO stamp on it.
Post the back 9 thoooooooooo! Lol
JC’s rollback off his drive on hole 6 is like nothing I’ve ever seen. It’s like he threw into a black hole that spit it back out at him.
You two know GG's Sonic is more understable than that Aviar.. don't play games with the pple! Hahaha much love Nate'n kj
Noah Mietzma (im sure I spelled that wrong) is having nightmares right now about spit-outs.
if your name isnt nathan are you really a disc golfer?
hole 2 really needs to be a 4
Thank you!!!!! I am curious though if there's any particular reason GK got their Final round coverage out before your round 2? not complaining just curious ;)
Y'all rock! Solid commentary duo ^_^
Upload back 9??
So, not the greatest basket huh?
Would you really want to keep the stress in the tank? ah fuck it I know what he means
Not a fan of the perkins commentary, sorry he just gets on my nerves! But man this was GREAT coverage! Giving Jomez a run for their $ haha!
Come on Mr Jones. You spoiled Rickies round by saying that you saw THE eagle in Rickies card. Kindly asking commentators to be more careful. Thank You
I came here to say this as well.
45 minutes of commentary with one slip up and that’s all you can comment. Be better than that. We’re all human and doing post round production it’s going to happen every so often
24:20 that is hands down the worst kick Ive ever seen in my life, unreal
Damn Jonny Mccraycray is really exhibiting his true form
9:02 things like this delegitimize disc golf as a sport. Perfect putts with spit outs must be addressed.
If it doesn't stay in the basket it wasn't a perfect putt then was it
