Pre-Console is the original version of the music, it can sound way diferent from the console version that was "downgraded" due to console limitations.

tristan0312ify they call it a "bootstrapped theme" on tvtropes. It's like how Jungle Hijinks is considered the theme for Donkey Kong, or the overworld theme in the first Mario is considered the Mario theme.

The red buttons in DingoDiles section were so alluring, since as a kid i was having trouble getting past Tiny

YES THIS IS IT! THE HD pre-release THEME! you can tell cus in the released console version you normally can't hear those extra drum beats that are supposed to start at 0:06 and play all throughou the song like it finally does here! :P

This is called pre-console music. This was the actual music they made and then they converted it to midi so that the music wouldn't take up much space.

Do we agree that this version slaps harder than the N.Sane one? I Don't hate on the trilogy, they are like my most played ps4 games, but this... has something different to it..
It’s cuz it’s trying to be modernish without the techno-y sounds that this is made up of. Plus, the rapid fire bits of music in the bridge between the loop aren’t as prevalent in the remake
In crash team racing ending video reel (1994-1999) it sounded like it, this was a hint about the pre release version

I saw a comment on here saying if they rereleased the games, they should include these versions of the songs... then they released an HD Remake of all 3 with subpar remixes instead.
