It definitely helps. The chalk grid is one is use the most now. I have a video coming up next week talking about that.

How small can you paint eyes/what size should they be? When doing a portrait on a wall, it seemed like I didn't blow the image up enough, and I was struggling to get the detail in + paint accurately. Can portraits/detailed work still be done on smaller walls? I notice that your eyes are way larger than what I was doing.
I can paint an eye pretty small. it's the same process. sometime the smaller the less detail will be in there because thee are so many other elements on the wall where the eye just looks good without all the details. thats where good shadows from dramatic lighting can help out a lot.
