Heads up. Walmart has watered down their cans quite a bit since uploading this video. I can no longer recommend their store brand for the shading and highlighting. As of now, home depots is still great
@@dannysunay4386 It's both a science _and_ an art - a bit like music. Getting the techniques under our belt is science, unleashing ourselves with confidence is an art! 🤍
Wow! love the crackle effect. I have ideas already thanks for sharing this one. Also love the technique for highlighting the planets atmosphere haze. Well done. You learn something new every day Cheers.
My half sister (space enthusiast) loves it when I give her paintings of planets because she says “the universe Is so vast that every painting exists somewhere”
Easily the best Planet tutorial I have seen! I love all your techniques and the way you explain things, and they looked great! I actually think I can try this!
The perfect example of keep it simple, when it comes to explaining techniques. I grateful for all the videos, people it up. But something about the art ones. They tend to have long overproduced openings, that are kinda rediculous, to be honest. But this? This was the opposite, this was perfect. ✌️😎 philadelphia, USA
Even though, I am having some very handicapped hands when I had begun to make landscapes with spray paint, I would give an another try to use my spay cans in others to have more space for my others art supplies in shelves, if I am still able of doing it since 4 years ago! But I was so enjoying myself of doing it, than I can’t wait no longer time with my 67 yrs old! TKY so much of explaining so well how to do some vey nice looking spray artwork planets! This is one my best favorite videos that I haven’t never seen up to now! From Quebec in Canada 🇨🇦! 😊❤
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Love the tutorial. No overproduced super long vanity opening. Just a lot of straightforward, well explained techniques, that even a person just starting out ( like me✌️😎) can pick up. Although truth be told, I bet I watch your video about 30 more times, just to make sure I’m not missing anything. But that’s just how my brain works. Thank you again, and continued success friend. Cheers. ✌️😎 Philadelphia, USA
You can also get crackle effect on regular paint with a heat gun or blow dryer, but it can be a bit tricky. Awesome tutorial! I got my start from watching Casey VanArsdale's planet videos, and it's cool to see some other people's tutorials as well to get more perspective!
I love how you clearly describe the methods. All other artist have the tendency to leave the viewer in question on how to or the details on creating these types of artworks. Thank You, You're Awesome!
Thank you very much I can start now . You are the only channel that tell and explain about the secrets of this art . Thanks alot ... I wish best for you 😊
hi! i just started my journey into planets and i even got my first two sales, i just wanted to say thank you for some cool tips! i most definitely have to use the postcard tricks!
Your art of making planets paintings are amazing. It's the first time seen you use different methods in the construction in the planet. Especially the details. It's like an actual picture of the planets
Bro she took tutorials to a whole other level 🔥 especially with that crackling planet, I myself recently started doing this and I’m definitely gonna try them crackling planets
Just WOW and thank you for this. I am just stocking up on various supplies and canvasses. I don't think I'm much of an artist in the traditional sense. Due to this i have been looking at pour painting and spray painting clips here on YT. I thoroughly enjoyed your work, here's hoping I have some success. Cheers from Australia.
This is a GREAT tutorial!! Thanks so much for sharing this. I’ve just started doing planets and find it pretty challenging. You’ve given so many great hints and ideas to keep in mind. Each of these pieces is amazing!! Be well and take care!❤️
super cool tutorial, I was curious about how to do rings, boom, explained! ive actually been using this painting technique with unicorn spit and airbrush on wood, super fun, but not quite as easy as yall make it look!
Just found this today because I was doing a project for an rv. I had a ceiling cut to fit around an AC to act as a sun to all the planets I made for the ceiling and because of you and some other RUclipsrs I made a piece with my spouse and it turned out better than I had expected it to. Should be able to put it up there tomorrow morning. I also did a northern lights type style with stars on some shade covers for my windows as well. Hopefully I can paint the outside of the rv in another fun style, you have opened the gates for me to a fun way to decorate.
This looks absolutely stunning! I always see people online making this sort of thing without giving any tutorial. Thank you for that! I have always wanted to try this, but just never got started.
I have trouble with dimensions (3d).also trying to figure out what else to put on the foreground.mountains trees ect..any videos on that subject?..thanks love your video.👍👍👍👍
Thank you for your commentary during the video. I've watched many so called tutorials but you explain some basic concepts that others just assume we know. I love your work. Thanks again

Keep the videos & tips coming...I appreciate the realism in ur videos I have watched thus far eventho this video was posted 5mos ago. Til next tyme...keep those cre8ive juices abrewing!!!
You make it look easy and even better, you show that this is not hard. The shading is the only thing that needs practice. Colors are random, as mentioned at the beginning of the video. Now please make another where you scratch in alien-towers! I watched artists in spain do this in the 90s as a kid. Never gets old! BTW: Are you wearing the glove on the wrong hand maybe? :p
Hi hope you don't mind me asking. I am from the UK and wanted to know can I use this as to wet the paint in-between like you use the 2x clear spray .thanks love your work and your teaching ❤
I loved the rings on the last planet. I think I'm going to have to head to Home Depot and get some paints for this weekend and make some planets with my boys.
I've always wanted to get into this kind of art but never knew hour. You're probably one of the first and few channels I found that actually shows people how to do this. Most people I see that do this kind of art don't want to show anyone how it's done. Without sounding rude they basically say they don't want anyone "cutting into their profit".
Heads up. Walmart has watered down their cans quite a bit since uploading this video. I can no longer recommend their store brand for the shading and highlighting. As of now, home depots is still great
Do u sell any i also live in myrtle would like to see some
