I still have my Kolaghan from when I first started really getting into the game 10 years ago. It really is perplexing to me that it isn't more popular as it's basically just a perfect tribal wincon for dragons in the command zone. You don't even need to worry about surviving a turn, you can dash it out exactly when you need it.
I built Inquisitor Eisenhorn when the Warhammer 40k product was released. I actually purchased the Tyranid Swarm deck & one of my friends bought the deck he was in. That same friend had decided to take the deck apart & was organizing which Warhammer cards he was going to keep in the 99 of the commander he was building around. We had already played a few games with just normal precons but he never cast Inquisitor Eisenhorn...Well, I saw the card on the table & ask could I read it. I read his first ability and was just like....meh.. Then read the next part; immediatly I thought about Cranial Plating & then remembered that Time Sieve was dimir colored. I asked if I could trade him for it & he just said I could have him...big mistake. The next week I came to the shop with the deck built. I included enough artifacts that buffed Eisenhorn to the point he would deal 5 or more damage whenever he attacked. I also included only two tutors (My group usually plays high powered games) to grab Time Sieve...because I didn't just want to do that but still it is there. I added cards that had effects when artifacts were sacrificed & Krark Clan Ironworks for a blast of mana if I needed it. I really like this guy and the deck continues to get better due to the clue support that came out with Fallout & Murders of Karlov Manor. Also the card Thran Turbine is a good addition. It is a 2 drop artifact & at the beginning of your upkeep it creates two colorless mana but it states you cannot cast spells with it. I like it because you can always sacrifice a clue & draw another card each turn for free.
