Christian Samuels that is normal due to the traffic volume at ATL, but it's not mandatory. All the runways have IAPs for commercial use, so if traffic is light enough ATC can hand out inboard runway landings, I mean it's a shorter taxi to the gate! Less fuel. I've seen it done several times coming into DFW.
2018paulrobbinx I live just about 15 minutes from KATL, I see planes fly over my house everyday! I'm just saying that according to real life ATC at KATL, you MUST land on the outers and takeoff on the inners. Same for VATSIM ATC. They require you to follow the rules as if ATC was online as well
Christian Samuels techically both of you are correct. When I control ZTL (Atlanta center) 9/10 I will land on the outers but if there is no traffic, I will land an aircraft on the inner runways for convenience sake. Same thing happens in the RW late at night.
AFAIK, the amber "REV" indication was caused by using emergency reverse thrust and can be cleared with the engine exceedence reset button on the overhead panel.
That is a beautifully modeled plane! I get to see one come in to Cleveland (OH) Hopkins Int'l once in awhile and this is so spot on. Awesome. I like the new vids and format (still miss the old ones but I understand completely). Keep it up!!
zachary lampman Yup that's probably it lol. £100k though seems excessive amount of money for a A320 Cockpit i've seen people build them for around £30k - £50K, For £100k you could build the cockpit and maybe half of the passenger cabin aswell.
MAVERICK 42 a320 FFS (sims used to teach future pilots ) costs something about 10000000€ so 100000£ are not that mich but for that you will be able to buy sim from flight deck solitions ;)
wait, did you hire some Hollywood level editors in for this video?! WOW the editing job, just wow.. 10/10 amazing cant even comprehend the costs that must have incurred for the editing on this video.
Hey Matt, you should probably try to clean up earlier in general. If you are clean before 2000ft as supposed to 4000ft you can save quite a bit of fuel in the real world aircraft. And climbing out that slow only makes you climb steeper but not faster. Most airliners climb the quickest at 250 to 280kts. So hanging around at V2 with quite a bit of flaps extended just costs time and fuel.
Can this match any PMDG or Majestic plane in terms of flight dynamics? I'm looking into to getting it, but want to see what other pilots think. To me it looks great but I haven't heard much about the flight dynamics. Thanks!
Flight dynamics maybe. Systems so far, close outside of the mcdu which is only 75% done. However this plane isn't anywhere near a finished product. There are at least 30 and maybe as High as 50 bugs with it. a good chunk of them make the auto flight and navigation impossible. So it isn't complete yet, if you want to bet on them keeping their word go ahead, if you don't want to risk it I would stay away until it is really done. And in P3D fslabs spotlights causes a CTD but that's fixed with disabling spotlights if you have it.
Ok, thank you. Do they have an estimated time for the complete product, and how many of the bugs were present in the video. I saw a few but 30-50 bugs seems high but I don't have the plane. I'm taking your word and are these bugs in items such as the plane keeping its course, glide slope, speed, altitude etc. Thanks!
I hand fly ILS's so I don't know for sure about that but I have heard that it'll stay low on glide slope. To get an Idea about the number of bugs look here. forums.tfdidesign.com/index.php?/forum/24-support/ Given the number of bugs there and the fact the MCDU is only 75% done, a few months is my best guess.
Would prefer Kerry Ireland to Alicante Spain or Cork Ireland to Lanzarote with PMDG 737 would be amazing either way I don't care I just want to see more flights from Ireland
AdamGropper AG53 seriously? I have as well but I have to disagree. Sure the inside is nice but the setup is terrible trying to drive in and out is completely atrocious. It is still under construction and most likely will be for another 10 years.
TinyPikelet that would depend on the SOP. Autoflight is the autothrottle. It needs to be engaged for TOGA to get engaged. Many SOPs have the Autoflight armed with the before takeoff checklist
Hey Matt I love your videos you do a good job flying. I have a flight request for ya. I flew Delta flight 1398 from Atlanta (ATL) to Manchester NH (MHT). It'd be awesome if you could make that flight for me I'd love to see it simulated. And it was a Boeing 717
Di5Dude it doesn't matter there isn't one for either. When a developer makes an addon they tend to make it for both, but there isn't any for either fsx or p3d
Cory Brayshaw really? Aww thats bad... cuz Ive seen someone spawn that thing in fsx. Idk how but he did. Thats why I asked.. nvm, thanks for letting me know
Damnit Matt, you put this out after I leave my parents (who have amazing internet) and get back to mine where the internet would be quicker if I ran to the nearest exchange with a USB stick, grabbed what I needed and ran back!
I like you Matt, you're the best, you know whene kinding and when be serious you're very cool guy continue like this. sorry for my English, from France.
chillblast.com/chillblast-fusion-cirrus-flight-simulation-pc-designed-by-matt-davies.html?category_id=495#product-details-tab-customise Thanks a lot for the reply! Well, I've costumised this one in the link, so that it has more storage and a better graphics card etc. You think it's gonna run FSX smoothly? (I don't use many addons except from payware aircrafts).
Chillblast are very expensive and in my opinion offer limited options which I find restricts you when spec'ing a pc. There is no denying Chillblast are a decent brand, the awards speak for themselves but there are alternatives such as Wired 2 Fire who I have chose to go with simply because they were cheaper and offered exactly what I wanted. I so wanted a Matt Davies pc from Chillblast but found upgrading basic spec pricey, Matt supports the Flight Simulator community and has his own range of Chillblast pcs. If your on a tight budget like me you have to look elsewhere for certain parts which cost less and compromise a bit, certain Chillblast pcs have different opinions which are limiting if you want something specific which all pc retailers' are guilty of, it all boils down to what you want and can afford and what options there are for a specific build
*You're wrong actually, it's brilliant.* Apparently the developers are wrong too, themselves commenting on the _generic_ and low quality appearance of the exterior as they promise to rework it.
Wish my PC was good enough for this
Matt Davies: Greases every landing even if he's never flown that type of plane before
-except for the fsl a320 hehe-
caagggggggg
kuadennn
CAG2 nobody greases fslabs first time in a crosswind

***** hi there
Matt, by the way, when you fly into KATL, you land on the outer runways and takeoff on the inner runways!!!!!
Christian Samuels that is normal due to the traffic volume at ATL, but it's not mandatory. All the runways have IAPs for commercial use, so if traffic is light enough ATC can hand out inboard runway landings, I mean it's a shorter taxi to the gate! Less fuel. The only reason I've seen them land on the inner is for emergencies and if the outer is closed. Just speaking from what I've seen at work
Just want to say a big thank you on behalf of me and Clare. She is a big (big...) fan of your work x
AFAIK, the amber "REV" indication was caused by using emergency reverse thrust and can be cleared with the engine exceedence reset button on the overhead panel.
10/10 On the editing job Sam! Well done!
I was told to "love" this video. But I do love it, great job Mett & Sam!
I hope you do more videos of the 717. In the next video I think that you should do a trip, from Atlanta GA to Nassau Bahamas. Thank you.
That is a beautifully modeled plane! I get to see one come in to Cleveland (OH) Hopkins Int'l once in awhile and this is so spot on. Awesome.
I like the new vids and format (still miss the old ones but I understand completely). Keep it up!!
Matt looks like your editing skills improved a lot since your last video. Well done.
Why does the 717 cockpit look so modern?
xMinimalistic based off of the MD-11
xMinimalistic thats what 1998 - 2006 era cockpits look like.
Excellent Flight, Perfect Approach and landing well done
£100,000.00 for a full size A320 cockpit really it's that expensive, I would of thought £50,000 would be enough.
Let's not forget, included in that figure is also a place to put the sim! :)
Ryan Jermany Bedroom maybe or Garage.
he needs a spot for his car thats if he has a garage
zachary lampman Yup that's probably it lol. £100k though seems excessive amount of money for a A320 Cockpit i've seen people build them for around £30k - £50K, For £100k you could build the cockpit and maybe half of the passenger cabin aswell.

+Matt Davies Those twitch sub notifications are great.
Finally!!! I've been waiting!!!
Happy New Year Matt, All the best pal.

I think the REV indicates you went into emergency reverse. Tap F2 once for idle reverse, twice for full reverse and three times for emergency reverse
haha yea I did the same thing still working out the bugs. Great vids man always a blast to watch
It looks so good 🔥
A flight from Chicago (O'Hare) to Los Angeles (LAX) would be awesome :) But might be a bit long
love it Sammmmmm, good job!
Thanks Bae
i think the reason why it powers up when you add spoiler is so you dont lose your speed to quickly and risk stalling
KaoS GaminG overspeeding? better speed up!
more Tfdi bugs
Plane is amazing, but it looked extremely reflective and bright with the exterior views
Matt will you be doing another video on the lets mirror series you were going to do with jet2
Great editing Sam
Great video Matt
I still can't believe he's gone
From the Stream , Kappa
"Showing some Love"
I actually control in Atlanta, wish I was on when you flew in!
when I download this nothing in cockpit works everthing is off and will not turn on
This video is very nicely edited.
Anyone else want to copulate with their TFDi 717........because I'm lovin' it.
Dang, I'd LOVE for this to be brought to X-Plane. More developers should join the XP side, as well. It is bound to happen.
Happy new year brother.

I see what you mean, thanks for the help!
Hi Matt can you do a flight from Cork to Malaga with Aer Lingus A320
Would prefer Kerry Ireland to Alicante Spain or Cork Ireland to Lanzarote with PMDG 737 would be amazing either way I don't care I just want to see more flights from Ireland
Kiko Sano yeah Kerry would look class if the scenery for it gets it right
Anybody know where I can find that future laguardia scenery?
Christopher Modiano Yes just Google : La Guardia P3D
And Matts scdnery is a Future scenery so don't think this is La Gardia hier is its yet
Can you do a flight from Manchester to Mallorca with Thomson airways
Nice video Matt!
The boing 717 lands between 140-135 knots the same as a 737
Can you do a flight from London to Malmö in any airlines
Keep up the good work.. Happy new year 🎊
Nice video matt!
LaGuardia is a good domestic airport. I've flew out of there numerous times. I just love LaGuardia.
AdamGropper AG53 seriously? I have as well but I have to disagree. Sure the inside is nice but the setup is terrible trying to drive in and out is completely atrocious. It is still under construction and most likely will be for another 10 years.
Pilot737_Sanchez Driving Into LaGuardia is confusing also a little challenging. I do agree with the setup that is a little run down.
Matt Davies, you only activate the Auto Flight system once you advance the throttles to take off power.
TinyPikelet that would depend on the SOP.
Autoflight is the autothrottle. It needs to be engaged for TOGA to get engaged. Many SOPs have the Autoflight armed with the before takeoff checklist
Changing things up eh! Pretty neat.
Matt your doing a great job 🛫✈️🛬
7:57 nice view of the Hudson O_O
this is great matt
Excellent landing rate.
200th video Matt good job :)
what airport scenery is that for La Guardia
Matt you should try a fly to Aerosoft lirf using Rome city HD that is very cheap with great performance , also new Limc is very nice.
Great stream and video. 👍🏻
Can you fly a A380 airbus
Only one IRS switched to on?
you guys think i can run thisi have

No volotea repaint yet.
Hey Sam, nice editing :D
Thanks man
Does anyone know how Matt made his into, is there a tutorial out there or was it made by a professional?
it says at the top hes saving for a full size a320 sim does that mean hes going to one somewhere or hes building his own?
FlyingNachosAviation 2138 Build his own
"I've just upload a new video, so go give it some love plz. K thanx"
Matt Davies on twitch 2016.
Love duly given
The flight panels look so similar to a MD11
Amazing video :) What are you HDR settings by the way?
Hey Matt, I was wondering where do you get your planes
What is that A320 sim
fly from düsseldorf to zurich using airberlin
Why don't you include start-ups anymore?
Matt Davies would you fly A380 Malaysian Airlines from Kuala Lumpur straight to London Heathrow for next video?
There is no decent payware (yet) for the A380 on P3D so he won't do it
Cory Brayshaw I was talking abt FSX.. Sorry, my bad.. forgot to mention fsx
Thats why I asked.. nvm, thanks for letting me know
Cool 717!.
Im not even bothered to watch this, just liking it since Belynz told us to ;) - no in all honesty, nice vid mates
Damnit Matt, you put this out after I leave my parents (who have amazing internet) and get back to mine where the internet would be quicker if I ran to the nearest exchange with a USB stick, grabbed what I needed and ran back!
Now having to watch in 144p with buffering every few minutes rather than smooth 1080 :(
Now having to watch in 144p with buffering every few minutes rather than smooth 1080 :(
Omg that 717 is so beautiful
Queef sniffing fuck.
Only FakeMatt recommends it :p
Matt, we should fly on stream together sometime, great video as always, have a great new year.
I like you Matt, you're the best, you know whene kinding and when be serious you're very cool guy continue like this.
sorry for my English, from France.
your english is alright
Oui
Chaussure.
whats the song at 10:31?
"I love it" "you're editing is great". All things I have been forced to say. Can you point the gun away from my head now?
what's your computer configuration?
Merry christmas and happy new year
hohohohohwww
Performance is low on my GTX 1050 & i5 6600K @ 4GHz!!! Shame because the systems initially appear to be well modeled.
Matt did you figure out why the waypoint names disappeared?
Hi mate great vid and would you recommend this add on is it any good
Hey Matt , whats the go with the feet rate coming up on the screen when landing , is that part of vatsim ?
what weather add on do you use?
Nice
Do replays on your landings!!!
Do you plan on using this for videos?
Can someone, or you, Matt, honestly answer this question for me?
Are the chillblast computers worth the money?
Depends on which one it is I think.
chillblast.com/chillblast-fusion-cirrus-flight-simulation-pc-designed-by-matt-davies.html?category_id=495#product-details-tab-customise
Thanks a lot for the reply! Well, I've costumised this one in the link, so that it has more storage and a better graphics card etc. You think it's gonna run FSX smoothly? (I don't use many addons except from payware aircrafts).
Its definitely not worth it for me, you can get a 1080 for that money too (in Singapore)
Chillblast are very expensive and in my opinion offer limited options which I find restricts you when spec'ing a pc. Thanks for the replies, everyone! I'm going for a chillblast computer, cause I have the money for it at this time!
why don;t you fly it anymore
Oh, ok! can't wait till the next vid! And where is the place to donate towards the A320 Full cockpit Sim.
Another great video, like 👍
Matt do you use EzDok or chase plane ? And what do you think is the best out of the two ?
are you playing defualt atc or multiple player?
Fly in a a320 British airways from LHR-ALC
Thinking of purchasing the plane. However, the exterior livery looks very poor,..and that is an understatement. Very low details on the plane. :-(
I think you have a point there. In the video it certainly looks like a very poor detailed aircraft. :-)
*You're wrong actually, it's brilliant.*
Apparently the developers are wrong too, themselves commenting on the _generic_ and low quality appearance of the exterior as they promise to rework it.
Love the video, but DL781 is usually MD88/90. Lets just say its a 717 today lol. nice vid
Christian Jefferson APG Captain Jeff gets bumped to a different route :p
lol
is the TFDI 100% done yet or what?
