I Built An EPIC World Using The WORST Minecraft Blocks!
This was definitely a challenge but after much Research I put together A pathetic list of some of the WORST Building Blocks in Minecraft, in my attempt on Building something EPIC!

Bruh, I actually love diorite, I honestly don’t know why people hate the block so much. I use it with my mega builds, and once I’m done it actually looks really nice. (I use it on my mansions).

Surprisingly all the “bad” blocks’ colors look really nice together. Like that can actually be a color palette, since yellow and purple are contrasting colors, pink (lighter shade of red) and green are somewhat contrasting colors, and brown works with green.
Edit: Just wanna emphasized I said the *“colors”* are nice. Not the blocks. Read it again and you’ll see that.
I think this video proves that a builders skill is what shines brightest. Even all the ugly blocks couldn't hold jeracraft back.

How the f**k does he build this good. It takes me months to build something good and it’s not even 1/10 the quality of this!
He can probably afford to play minecraft almost all day. In all fairness, the majority of us can not. But the key is resistance. In my personal experience, I have found it to be more useful to make "mocs" of themes on a creative flat world before taking it to the large full scale. This can be as simple as a flat concept of the shape of a bridge or a staircase. It does not matter. Mess with the blocks, get a feel for the concept, then roll with it.
Otherwise, Just learn from RUclipsrs like Jeracraft.

@@Gearless1234 it always depends on the context granite can be use with a warm color palet and I personally use diorite with andeseite and logs as pillars dark prismarine or warped wood on the roof and blend some of it in quartz

@DOGGO POGGO I think the main problem is suggestibility. When people tell you something looks like something, sometimes you should just ignore it because people used to enjoy using diorite for ages before iskall came along

Podzol is so underrated. Like it looks beautiful when you like scatter it around as like a path, it only looks bad when you just make an entire floor out of it, like that’s just common sense

It actually looks great. The beauty doesn't come from the blocks themselves but from the combinations of blocks used.

To be honest, dirt, coarse dirt, and podzol are great for some landscaped areas.

I’ve got an idea for what could be the story behind this build and it’s inhabitants. It is vague as I would like help from others to expand the lore:
“We all saw it coming, the apocalypse. It tore out the life from our planet. There was nothing we could do. The water became toxic, the plant life became fungi and alien life grew from cracks in the ground in the form of violet tendrils. We started anew. Most left. But us ‘ugly block lovers’ stayed to help restore our civilisation. We follow Jeracraft’s lead on the journey to greatness, however he may be hiding something from us. Maybe... pretty blocks?”
This is absolutely gorgeous. You should keep on expanding it.

The graphic designer for the blocks must be crying in joy that their designs are being used in such a beautiful build.
This reminds me of how artists back in the early days of games would make beautiful backgrounds and sprite work with really strict limitations.

@@fantasypvp purpur aint that bad of a block actually its really modern and can make some cool bases or like galaxy hermit craft bases or in a modern house purpur blocks go really well with quarts i dont know why its considered a bad block lol

This reminds me so much of Morrowind and Vanilla WoW. A mushroom-infested wasteland with elvish architecture. Of course I was always one of those weird people who actually liked the Plaguelands lol. There was always a grotesque beauty about those places where you could tell something awful had happened.
I LOVE this video it really shows the possibilities outside of stone and wood.

Edit: Now i have been made aware multiple times that it looks like bird poop. Now BESIDES that. Theres nothing wrong with the block. Yes you can't build a whole house out of it but which block can you build an entire house out of and have it still look good? Anyway my point is, it doesnt deserve the hate its gotten. Okay bye!

also I use lots of those blocks regularly it’s all about how many of them use in a build
Diorite can be used in moderation and if you have a texture back that improves the diorite texture then it's ok to use it a lot in builds
Ben McGinn polished variations are very gray and good for modern builds.
@@benmcginn311 also I love to use unpolished diorite in structures that use bone blocks as they go together really well

you could do the exact same challenge with a randomizer that choses the blocks you build with. (maybe like 20 different blocks out of all of them)

This looks so cool!!!!!!!! I love this idea and what you did! I find it smart that you used the sponges in the mushrooms! I also weirdly like the combination of the diorite and purpur, I also like the way you used the magenta glazed terracotta. I absolutely love this. This looks like something from Star Wars XD This has inspired me but I can't play Minecraft because I have a PS3(it stopped updating after the aquatic update) and the Minecraft on the Nintendo Switch is really buggy for me. But again, this is awesome!

This is interesting! I use diorite and granite in mix with other blocks in builds, and I also recently use purpur blocks in combo with magenta concrete/galzed terracotta as well as dark oak to make a fantasy house and they look great together!
Jera seriously can make anything using everything, its just fascinating
