The Cloudrunner District is the other half of Brassholt. It is the main residence of the Cloudrunners, who are the sailors that operate steampunk airships. They are mainly tasked with transporting goods and protecting the Bank’s interests. Every part of Brassholt is wealthy, but this District varies from the occupants of the Banking Guild. The Bank is inherited, aristocratic wealth, while Cloudrunner fortunes are all earned from scratch. As a result, these sailors are rugged, savvy and hardworking. Hope this helps give you a better idea of the area! I look forward to reading your comments!
Lore: There are some ancient wizards who left some secrets across the map which reveal the scroll of truth or a potion book, magical spells book or something like that.
I mean, personally, I feel it's a bit over-edited. I'd like to see a bit more of the actual process and a bit less jokey animation. I think the build is interesting enough that he didn't have to rely on that. That being said, it was high quality.
@@megabubfish agreed I feel bad for him a bit because he spends so much time editing and I would rather faster uploads and slightly less effort with the editing
Unfortunately it seems like most people have the attention span of a potato, so shorter videos generally preform much better than longer ones. I could be wrong though.
Dude I can’t even comprehend how much work you’re doing. This is insane. I watched the whole video. I’m shocked by your skill and wit for building these insane builds. Keep it up man
Literally just discovered this guy and this is easily one of the best videos I've ever seen: managing to keep the video entertaining while explaining the design, the lore and the future ideas is unbelievable and that was possible thanks to an astonishing editing, the only reason I can't completely express my respect for you is because English isn't my first language
I wonder who’s going to tell him that you can just use a command to create a perfect circle in Minecraft and then with the world edit flip the circle to stand right side up
Storytelling + editing + building makes this probably one of my favorite videos on RUclips. I have been watching this series from the start and each video still manages to amaze me. This clearly takes so much talent and is so cool. I hope one day your book will be available to read!
Lore idea: New recruits are often tested by being ordered to move through the secret labyrinth connecting the main area with the hub of Coins & Cloaks, consisting of any unfinished rooms and underground. May be a nice alternative to the dungeon and add an interesting backstory.
not really. it would be the same builds with different lore and quest logs attached. essentially a dungeon, but you have to start a 'join/infiltrate the c&c guild' quest line to enter.@@aristology6912
it would be fun to add lots of little nooks, crannies, hidden entrances and paths for the assassin faction could add on to patrickd2853's idea and I don't know my brain can't figure out how to put it in words
im just a uni student, and i dont even play minecraft. but DAMN, i didnt know a block game could be THIS magical just from imagination alone. that's actually crazy!! Your backstory brings life to the builds, youre the most creative person ever!
I can't even begin to explain how impressive that is. Also, with all the editing and everything, that's so crazy how people manage to use a game about blocks as a tool to create literal masterpieces.
As another (very) amateur writer, I absolutely adore this series. Being able to visualize the settings to the stories I write… it’s a dream of mine. Seeing these set-pieces from your story makes me very interested in reading it.
Im a writer too, I wish that I could draw my characters and world but Im not an artist. I only ever used gacha to make my characters but downside is that it limits my characters. Thats why I focus more on world building and the stories itself
Shovel, as an author (in learning but yea) myself, I have mad respect for you. I wanted to try and build my fantasy world in minecraft too a few years back but I realise that it is impossible for my world because it has multiple universes, realms, dimensions etc. Plus, im not a builder, Im a writer. The fact that you can build such a masterpiece with such lore is amazing! Im sure your story would have been great and I wished there was a way for me to read it but this is great too! I love the builds and the amount of work you put into it. I also admire how much thought you put into the lore. I find it interesting on how you use real world cultures for your world. Mad respect man. I love how you open the table for your fans to pitch their own ideas as well, I will certainly try and do that for my own channel. Keep up the great work, mate! Little note: Please do take care of yourself! Your personal health is important too. Eat healthy, sleep well and make sure to get some fresh air!
Lore idea- when the city was in construction the mechs shown in the armoury were used for building the city which had an extra reason, since the guild basically run this city other factions tried to attack before it was built so the mechs could easily engage in combat since they were already all out and activated
Lore Idea: Having the other side of the city being a poor/poverish slum (in comparison to the other side), might create a cool dystopian type city with interesting political and physical interactions between both sides! You could even add a story of a bank heist where some people from the slums try to steal the great treasure from the massive vault in the bank
Very interesting! That’s kinda where I’m going with it, but less of impoverished and more rugged. All of Brassholt is wealthy, but the Bank side is more inherited, aristocratic wealth. The Cloudrunner District is where the airship sailors (the cloudrunners) live and work. Their wealth is earned, not inherited. Think of it like old money vs. new money
@@shovel241 Sounds amazing! Actually having one side as inherited wealth verses earned wealth is a extremely cool twist on the, admittedly, overdone trope in fantasy that I suggested 🔥 (I still love it anyway despite that 😅)
That’s a great idea! Adding impoverished slums at the base of the city would fit with the overall narrative of the story. The Alpha’s have been, for the most part, depicted as the antagonist or at least the most powerful of the factions. Hence presenting the largest threat to every other faction. Their empires been built upon aggressive colonialism(the dragon university), and ruthlessly eradicating their enemies(the genocide of the Omegas). The slum area could hold the less…ideal side of the Alpha’s. Places where the nobles come to indulge in drugs, brothels, slave trafficking, gambling, shady dealings, corruption, etc. Or on the other side of the coin, the undesirables are locked away underground. People afflicted or cursed by some incurable magic disease or something of that sort. I literally stumbled upon this channel yesterday and binge watched all the mega build videos so I don’t fully know how “safe” or family friendly you want to keep the content, but I think it would be an amazing addition to the fantasy world you’ve created so far. Making a large impoverished area would create more creative opportunities for lore development and building. Drawing inspiration from Arcane as well, you could do something similar to Zaun. Another really interesting area I think you could look at is the sewer area (subterranean shunning grounds) under the Leyndell capital from the game Elden Ring.
Shovel, your videos are so fricking inspiring. I‘m writing a book, and cause of your fantastic and giantic builds, i can feel the fantasy flow through my body way better. Just thanks for that damn good videos
I really feel like a wealthy city like this should have some underground slums with people that did not manage to keep up and that are leeching off of the rich people above (Yes, I also like Arcane). This could be combined with a sewer system and some underground caves. Maybe the magical runes in the mountains reach in here as well and can be used to power some contraptions that the underpeople built. The assassins of the Order of Coin and Cloak would have some bearing on what is going on down there, but I like the idea of a new society forming that aims to undermine the power that order has over the city. They would have spies in the city that constantly try to find out what the plans of the Order are, and if they can interfere in any way. It doesn't seem like this is likely to work tho :). Awesome video!
“Leeching off” isn’t quite the right phrasing, more like the other way round in terms of how class conflict generally works (and arcane) but I see what you’re saying
Everything about this video was crazy good. Not only the build and the dedication but also the storytelling, the jokes and especially the editing. It all came together so well and I really hope more people could see this masterpiece.
I love building this team is so incredible that it makes my inspiration go wild but when i realised how long it takes to just build 2 unique houses insane how much skill and effort goes into these
Imagine if a bunch of developers came together to start making a new mmorpg game with the maps you create. Honestly would be amazing especially with the lore "pre-made" by you.
Awe inspiring. So, so cool. As a survival player, these tools are just beyond. The literal only suggestion I have is a bit more time at the end to fly over/through to give us a real chance to appreciate the final product, instead of each piece being shown only as it is being built and decorated. Love the dedication, aesthetic and creativity
Why don’t you hire someone to code in an entire story to this map, or do it yourself? This map and cities really remind me of God of War, and a whole story mode in this map would be so fire. You can also get RUclipsrs to play it and promote it as well! Just something to think about
Lore Idea: I think a cool addition could be a sky tavern with places to dock incoming ships, as a place to meet old friends, make new ones, and potentially create new trade opportunities
Shovel I think you should build this into an actual Minecraft game like what they did with hog warts Minecraft. It would be fun and players can explore the map as well as even become students or residents of certain cities. I know this will be the first thing on my wishlist for a while
LORE: The assassins are very good at their job, so good that there is a group of powerful assassins that don't have any identity, they are only known in legend. when someone is added to this group, they are wiped from history along with those who knew them. these people are usually innately talented with Shadow Magic (I have half a page of writing about shadow magic if you want it)
idea, when you get done with the last build, hide a copy of your original book in a library somewhere on the map, and when someone finds it, they can read the story that inspired this projects
I am speechless. Never have I seen such precision in mega builds like these. I also immensely admire the implementation of lore in your videos. Shovel, your content is amazing, keep up the amazing work. You deserve way more! Recommendation : Since this is a partly steampunk-styled mega build, I think that blimps could be a wonderful detail to add in the world. (This also screams Piltover, and I'm a huge arcane fan xD)
I think you should really have lots of small village houses on little stilts by the river because it’s going through the two civilisations and if there is any tension or conflict between the two villages have the fishermen be a poorer race not wanting to be stuck between the two or manipulated by the cloaks and coins, love the videos it is absolutely amazing!
12:29 is where I went, "dude, come ON." This whole video was just so damn enjoyable. Genuinely, this may have been one of the best, if not the best, minecraft video I've ever watched. You went absolutely nuts with not only the building, but the video editing and storytelling. You're one hell of an artist, man.
Lore idea for my favorite youtuber: For the airship area, maybe there could be an arsenal in the center of the airship docks that includes things such as innovative prototypes, training areas for elytra warriors, and maybe even an outer ring with a course for apprentice airship flyers that includes fun obstacles. I also think it would be interesting to include repurposed airships for the Cloudrunner district, seeing as they created a life from nothing. They could have repurposed blimp canvases for pavilions, a scrapyard, and even ground transportation made using the engines and gears of the blimps (maybe a metro or train system to fit with the steampunk idea). Keep up the good work, man!
Ur fans need to know how much u time spend in building editing and ur life ive watched u for 2 years and i love everything u build respect to this man ❤
@@shovel241 Lore idea: The city obtains energy from a type of tiny supernova, the flying ships from the cloud group you mentioned drawing out the energy to power the city. Maybe you could modify the black hole thing from the AI terrain episode and add an arcane seal/shell to keep it controlled, making it the central point of the cloud group.
Hello! I just found this channel and saw some of your build and they are absolutely incredible! I am so sad I did not find it sooner. You are an inspiration to anyone who wants to make minecraft their job, and also to those who just have a creative mind but are scared to take that leap(like myself). You're doing great and I can't wait to see more of you amazing builds in the future!
This video alone deserves a subscribe. The builds and the lore of them is immaculate and beutiful. I have a story I'm writing and this has Givin me so much inspiration. Keep up the amazing work!
Hey im doubtful that you will see this but I am gonna ask anyways. Do I have your permission to make this into a game, I have been getting into coding recently and I find this world very interesting so I wanted to make it into a game.
For the Cloudrunner district there should be another secret organization that works in opposition to the Order of Coin and Cloak so both sides of the city are in a Cold Civil War. It could add a lot of intrigue to the city, and also works because the Cloudrunners earn their fortune while the Banking Guild inherits it. This would provide plenty of area for ideological differences between the two halves of the city even if they work symbiotically.
The most fun Minecraft video i have ever watched till date.Hatts off to you man for all the hardwork you put into your video, just discovered your channel and iam impressed 👍🏻.
By far your best work in my opinion by far, absolutely amazing build and even better editing. Going to take lots of inspo from this build style for when I get my survival world started up when I start streaming loving the steampunk with blue glass theme looks amazing.
I've been waiting since this series started for the book to come on (and I will keep waiting for who knows how long until it does) Keep up the good work!
This is a idea for the Fleafolk continuation if your still on it. Its for the Hive Nation. The Hivekin is a branch of the Fleafolk race, that lives in a beehive city, also known as Apiaria or The Hive Nation. Located in a large willow tree in the central part of the Alphalaum country. They live deep into the tree, to not be seen by larger beings. The Hive Nation is well-known for creating a hard and thick substance called Nectarium. Which can be almost impossible to break through, making it extremely good structures and buildings, as well as tools. There are 3 types of rank within the Hivekin people, known as, The Royal Nectarians, who are the ruling class, chosen for their wisdom and connection to the mystical energies of the hive. They oversee governance and maintain the balance between the hive and the surrounding natural elements. Honeyweavers, skilled artisans, and architects are responsible for crafting intricate structures from Nectarium and managing the overall aesthetic harmony of the hive city. The backbone of the hive city, they gather pollen from the surrounding mystical flora, tend to the hive's gardens, and ensure the sustenance of the entire community. The city is always bustling with activity day and night. The queen resides in the heart of Apiaria, called the Royal Comb, a royal chamber where the queen can watch the entire city below. - "Apiaria" is derived from "apiary," which is a place where bees are kept or a collection of beehives. It reflects the connection to bees and the idea of a city within a beehive-like environment. This is just an idea, feel free to use it if you want some time. ^^ (Also like add some like of flying wings like a elytra, for some scouts to go out and collect honey, like their honey scouts and sneak to take the honey without being scene, like a group of these fully-trained soldiers/scouts Hivekin people, go and scavenge for ingredients and resources or something like that.)
the editing in this alone would have been a ridiculous amount of effort and time, let alone the actual substance of the video. Truly puzzled as to how this doesn't have millions of views
lore idea: hidden guilds of people hidden througout the village, lets say a group of hunters who are hiding in a small entrance on a wall that can only be entered with a special artifact (magical key). Or maybe a maze like sewage system that is the base of criminal activity within the ciry
Suggestion on a new build: The Fortress of the Chrono Faction Lore:The Fortress itself looks medevial but do not be fooled because inside the walls itself is mechanical gears. They are a faction of the best thieves in the world. They are also the mortal enemy of Brassholt as they've stolen forbidden weapons from them. So the Brassholt's assasins focus is exterminating them and retrieve the stolen weapons. The Brassholt isn't the only one they've robbed. They have robbed many resulting in getting many powerful weapons. They haven't failed a single robbery making them one of the most feared faction in the world.
its crazy that you have less than 300k with this much effort put into your videos, the edits, the detailing, the cleaning up of the world edit mess. absolutely crazy!! keep it up
I need you to know how overwhelmingly cool and inspiring you are, and how amazing your work is. I can’t even put it into words. I’m 14 but I’ve always dreamed of being a writer, and i love Minecraft too. I want to be just like you when I get older.

I'm way late to the party but upon finally getting around to watching it my cat showed more interest in this video than half her toys 😂 fantastic editing and building, you're so creative and dedicated!
I absolutely adore these videos you're making!! I've been following the series so far and I honestly can't wait to see what the Cloudrunner District looks!!!!! I also have a suggestion for the next build you do afterwards; I genuinely LOVED the lore behind the Fleafolk and how you built the Dirt Clan, so I was wondering if you could build one of the other Clans. It doesn't have to be a specific one, any of them will do!!! I JUST LOVED THE FLEAFOLK LORE!!!!! YOU DO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
Maybe you could make a fantasy mushroom forest or something with mushroom houses. Also I love your builds I have always been into Minecraft but I am not very good, so it makes me so happy to see such amazing builds. Truly amazing
3 things Shovel is good at: 1. Minecraft 2. Making and telling stories and lore 3. Making me regret my life and how I'm good at neither of those things
I really like this idea. But i was wondering if u could do a Sun and Moon Kingdom? If u were taking suggestions. It could be divided by a great wall, like the Great Wall of China, and on one side could be a beautiful and bright Sun Kingdom, with a gorgeous palace, and on the other side a gloomy, dark Moon Kingdom, tho it is still beautiful. I would very much appreciate it if you do this!
I'm so glad I clicked on the video. The quality of the content is insane, along with the effort and time put in. There are some very funny jokes added in, along with insanely well-done editing. Not to mention how good you are at building and designing. I am more than impressed
New to your channel and I can’t believe I only discovered it now your content , builds , creativity, and lore behind your world is amazing 😭❤️❤️ definitely subscribing and going to binge all your other videos.
Lore idea: the infamous leader of the coin and cloak is youndor the traitor, betraying every secret society he worked for before founding the coin and cloak (please come up with a better name)
That circle montage was so sick! Here are my ideas: for the cloud district its gotta be a floating port that the ships dock on for the center piece right? what makes it float and what that looks like could be a fun thing to play around with I think. also maybe its circle as well!

You make Minecraft look so easy and fun! Your enthusiasm is contagious.
idea, when you get done with the last build, hide a copy of your original book in a library somewhere on the map, and when someone finds it, they can read the story that inspired this projects
Stunning! Every part, the build, the editing, the overall video ! Excellent!
The sheer editing skill you have is MAD. Besides the build I'm really impressed. Love this! 😍
Yesss. The editing is it 🎉
I think you should really have lots of small village houses on little stilts by the river because it’s going through the two civilisations and if there is any tension or conflict between the two villages have the fishermen be a poorer race not wanting to be stuck between the two or manipulated by the cloaks and coins, love the videos it is absolutely amazing!
And bringing in your friends for some cinematic shots and building.. come on. That's too good, man. I've enjoyed this too much.
Got to appreciate the dedication of Achilles, to build while working in real life! Mad respect.
Just insane ! Like no other words can describe this level of creating in minecraft. 100% perfect❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
This is incredible. Your friends also did incredible work, I feel like not enough of the comments are appreciating their effort too. Great job
Ur fans need to know how much u time spend in building editing and ur life ive watched u for 2 years and i love everything u build respect to this man ❤
People like shovel create the most epic and amazing things that it seems so effortlessly
Remember, his life is content creating and minecraft, so it is not that effortless
Haha it may seem effortless when watching the video, but these projects take an extraordinary amount of work
@@shovel241 Lore idea: The city obtains energy from a type of tiny supernova, the flying ships from the cloud group you mentioned drawing out the energy to power the city. Maybe you could modify the black hole thing from the AI terrain episode and add an arcane seal/shell to keep it controlled, making it the central point of the cloud group.
@@shovel241 I know but you just build thing s that the average player like me could never dream of building in a year and you make it in a few weeks
Shovel241 NEVER disappoints! This is absolutely incredible!
So, this is not a lore idea but maybe you could turn it into a real server where players recreate the entire civilization?
I am super excited and just by looking at the thumbnail I can tell this is going to be another awesome build from you 😁
Is your book for sale somewhere?
You could make a city out of a giant sword sticking out of the ground.
What kind of insane man have I just stumbled upon
I'm sitting there utterly amazed at your builds man
Man, this needs to be a book. This story is so special.
Shovel never fails to amaze me let's see how amazed we will be after this vid.
Hey im doubtful that you will see this but I am gonna ask anyways. Do I have your permission to make this into a game, I have been getting into coding recently and I find this world very interesting so I wanted to make it into a game.
I’m gonna give him notifications hopefully
So he can answer
Even though this is late

For the Cloudrunner district there should be another secret organization that works in opposition to the Order of Coin and Cloak so both sides of the city are in a Cold Civil War. It could add a lot of intrigue to the city, and also works because the Cloudrunners earn their fortune while the Banking Guild inherits it. This would provide plenty of area for ideological differences between the two halves of the city even if they work symbiotically.
Yes yes yes
Deyk God builder
Great story telling too and editing
The most fun Minecraft video i have ever watched till date.Hatts off to you man for all the hardwork you put into your video, just discovered your channel and iam impressed 👍🏻.
bro is actually him
What is the book?
Your editing is overkill bro:v
(Also like add some like of flying wings like a elytra, for some scouts to go out and collect honey, like their honey scouts and sneak to take the honey without being scene, like a group of these fully-trained soldiers/scouts Hivekin people, go and scavenge for ingredients and resources or something like that.)
the editing in this alone would have been a ridiculous amount of effort and time, let alone the actual substance of the video.
That’s a really good idea actually
Suggestion on a new build:
The Fortress of the Chrono Faction
Lore:The Fortress itself looks medevial but do not be fooled because inside the walls itself is mechanical gears.
Hoping that i would be noticed 😊
Dude you should build in beta minecraft. It would be so cool to see a giant build like this in the beta Minecraft style.
its crazy that you have less than 300k with this much effort put into your videos, the edits, the detailing, the cleaning up of the world edit mess. absolutely crazy!! keep it up
I need you to know how overwhelmingly cool and inspiring you are, and how amazing your work is. I can’t even put it into words. I’m 14 but I’ve always dreamed of being a writer, and i love Minecraft too. I want to be just like you when I get older.
"I don't understand art" Your making art, keep up the great work! I can't wait to play this map. When you finish building and making the map you should host a event! I always look forward to your vids!
YOU DO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
stumbled upon this, I'm absolutely BLOWN
bro's a writer, builder, designer, architect and artist all together ‼️‼️
Maybe you could make a fantasy mushroom forest or something with mushroom houses. Also I love your builds I have always been into Minecraft but I am not very good, so it makes me so happy to see such amazing builds. Truly amazing
3 things Shovel is good at:
1. Minecraft
2. Making and telling stories and lore
3. Making me regret my life and how I'm good at neither of those things
I wasn’t good at first either! It takes practice!
Omg he replied!!! I love your videos so much! Keep up the great work💖
the circular portal actually had me mezmerised, the colors blended in so smooth with eachother
I don't really know what to say, everything was amazing, the cinematics, the lore and the build itself! Keep doing it🔥❤️
Lore idea: the infamous leader of the coin and cloak is youndor the traitor, betraying every secret society he worked for before founding the coin and cloak (please come up with a better name)
This is my first time seeing your channel. Just... wow, I'm speechless.
You are by far my favorite RUclipsr now. This is absolutely amazing and very entertaining.
I wish I had this much patience and I was this good at building
Shovel I saw this video and it relit the fire in me to write my story that I’ve had in my head for years. Thank you.
That circle montage was so sick! Here are my ideas: for the cloud district its gotta be a floating port that the ships dock on for the center piece right? what makes it float and what that looks like could be a fun thing to play around with I think. also maybe its circle as well!
