    Interesting to listen to Brits talking about their monarchy.
    She seems like a nice enough lady and there is something noteworthy of having an active monarch who can claim blood ties to most of the leaders of country going back for over 1000 years (something unique in this world). With that said, the role is nothing more than a figure head and her contribution to society is more akin to Kim Kardashian than it is to a head of state
    The suggestion that the monarchy is an institution of significance by intelligent people is puzzling to an American

    Secrets of Statecraft eh? Sounds ponderous. Hosted by Andrew Roberts? Then it’s bound to be serious and worthy. I never expected, therefore, to be falling over with laughter just 15 minutes in. The stories told by Hardman were fascinating and heart warming. Wonderful stuff.
