Sad to say It time to move on from Tua , if Miami decide to keep him , he should be a veteran backup, just Like Earl Morrel was with Bob Griese , I don’t think they would do that , but if it was me he wouldn’t have a choice if he wanted to stay with Miami, Do Management want to Win, they need to make some bold moves , be understanding that to be a valuable asset to the team , Players have to be honest with there strength and weaknesses, with there competitive spirit
Tua is not going anywhere. We hope he plays Sunday but he needs to heal. I know Tua wants to play. But McD and Tua will be back next year. He’s one of the best QBs in the league. He just signed an extension. He is loved in Miami. This is all baloney to surest he’s going to be pushed out. They love him. We love him
Yes, Tua is a good athlete and a great QB but many who want him to continue playing do not have his future well being in mind. I've watch him play in high school at St. Louis in Honolulu and closely followed his playing at Bama. His team doctors kept him out of a recent game because they were "saving him from himself". His desire to play is not in question, it's his future health. His past concussions along with his new hip injury, will take a toll later in life. He's now a husband and father and needs to keep both his wife and son at the forefront of his playing decisions. I for one would loves to see Tua continue his NFL career but I feel his health is more important than taking the field. JMHO

I’m an RN and I know that concussions don’t necessarily leave brain damage, even in football. You can have a severe concussion but it doesn’t touch the brains where it leaves scars showing it damaged the brain. All the specialists say he did not have any brain damage. No scars, no oxygen cut off killing brain supply to tissues. Not every brain gets damaged. If it did every footballer would have CTE. Some get it and some don’t. I imagine every single pro player has had more than three concussions. Mahomes has 3, 2 in one yr and won two super bowls after. They let him play hurt. Ours is too conservative. Josh Allen passed out on the field for one minute and they let him get up and play. I wouldn’t recommend we do that. That’s suicide. But, we need to let him play if that’s his choice. I imagine in this case he has something that if he plays and tears it, like a flexor, then it could cause more damage and surgery. We need a solid backup like Garaffalo who played in this system. We let him sign elsewhere. Didn’t even try. We need someone that if he does get hurt then we can still win games. A backup should be able to beat two of the worst teams in football. Ours didn’t. Even one game and we’d be in the playoffs. Grier must be fired for that. He should be fired for no offensive line. Tua wouldn’t have gotten hurt if our line wouldn’t whiff on all their passes. Tua always has someone in his face two seconds after the ball is snapped. Watching every team in the league, I didn’t see any team that had it that bad. It’s incredible we have to make a game plan and have our qb throw it in 2 seconds. I’ve see Mahomes have 9 seconds last playoffs. It has to change to protect him better.
