He said the level at which we speak of heat culture and actually regard it as something serious wasn’t a widely accepted belief until Jimmy got to show out and we saw a clear difference of what he was on other teams vs heat.
Casuals weren’t on that understanding with Bron and the crew bc we were too focused on the trades, his star studded lineup, and his chip potential. Not to say people weren’t talking about the heat cultures advancements with Bron, people just didn’t widely believe it enough until Jimmy, around the time they formed the wall to stop Giannis.

I like jimmy and all players that come here but I will always trust Pat. Jimmy "Cant find joy in basketball making only 52million dollars in one year" Butler
Honestly the massive increase in salary is the true culprit for the low rating in the NBA
more than the abuse of 3-pointers, the lack of a Dynasty or the past 6 MVPs being European or African.
I mean I get his anger, Zion, Pandemic P and Kawhi swimming in money while eating doritos on their couch, while he cant get a contract from his team.

But Sam also said he’s not been available how do you want to get paid more but work less lol Phila was desperate because Pandemic P’s, availability is the same as Leonard’s but that’s it the scarcity in the league makes teams pay guys like Pandemic P.
I wouldn’t trade him though, because Jimmy has the leverage, decline his player option and make him a free agent at the end of the season. Just don’t play him no more his salary will basically be free for the rest of the season. If they trade him we won’t get fair value in return Mitchell, is right.

Pat Riley is the problem. And the media has yet to call him out on this. For years fans have heard about the mystique and the "greatness" of Pat Riley. After thinking about it, the truth is Pat has only won championships with generational talents (Magic, Kareem, Shaq, Dwade etc.) Outside of that.....what have his teams done? He had decent playoff runs with the Knicks and the Heat, but they never won a championship. Jimmy got them to 2 finals and a ECF with a fringe all-star (Bam Adeboyo) and a bunch of G-League and undrafted guys. I would say he overachieved.
Pat ran off Shaq, didn't pay Dwade (gave Bosh the extension instead???), Threw shade at Lebron for leaving (after 4 trips to the finals) and now Butler is out the door. Pat is the problem. To many people have praised "heat culture" and it's gone to his head.

Pat is not the problem. He definitely has a major ego, but he has also earned it. Generation talent doesn't not equal success without elite coaching & construction (ie. failed attempts of Brooklyn, the Clippers, and the 76'ers). The problem is Jimmy wants to be paid full-time wages for part-time work, and Pat Riley isn't an idiot. Jimmy himself says that he ramps up in January and after the All-Star break and in the past few years, that has not been enough. Pat should be held responsible for not getting Jimmy help (outside of the sabotaged Dame trade and Jimmy wanting to play with his bff Lowry), but Jimmy is BS-ing himself into another bad ending.
As a HEAT fan, I'm wishing we get rid of Jimmy asap. Bro is like a child throwing a tantrum when he doesn't get what he wants and his toxic comments this week show that we need to get him out of our lockerroom.

I absolutely love it. The organizations want to hold players hostage. He took y'all weak ass team to the finals twice. In one year he did it the heat was the weakest team in the playoffs they were an eight seed and knocked out the number one seed. And we all know Jimmy Butler had a large part to do with it. The Celtics as well as the Knicks are too good of teams now they go out and make trades in the rosters come back better. You got porzingis, Holliday and Derek White. The Knicks got Carl Anthony towns. Who have the Miami heat gotten. Nobody it's time to go.

You're absolutely right. The double standard is glaring. When team owners trade or move players for financial reasons, it's often seen as just part of the business. But when players make similar decisions-whether for better contracts, career opportunities, or personal reasons-they can be criticized, labeled as "disloyal" or "troublemakers." It reflects a broader imbalance in how players' autonomy is perceived compared to team owners' power. It's an interesting point about how narratives are shaped based on who's making the move.

Says Jimmy take things too personal and can’t let things roll off his back. Well when the owner calls you at in a press conference and tell you to shut up. You best believe that a grown man will not be okay with that. Could have done it behind close doors but Pat choose to do in an unprofessional way.
What Jimmy Butler said is true, he has been carrying the Heat on his back without any other great player. Carry them to 2 finals by himself especially when they didn’t have Tyler Herro in postseason of 2023.
Pat Riley acts like he did anything good without superstars to carry his franchise. Get rid of Jimmy Butler and Miami Heat going to be out of the playoffs plus irrelevant! Just like how they were before Jimmy Butler came along. Lol 😂

Yea you’re definitely not someone that actually watches the miami heat. In the first finals run Goran Dragic was the heats best offensive player and leading scorer. Then got hurt in the finals. In the 2nd run butler was carried in rounds 2 and 3 since he got hurt and everyone believed Caleb Martin deserved the ECF mvp award. Butler was then trash in the finals against Denver.

Dragic was good but sorry you are mistaken Jimmy Butler was the main player for the Heat in the 2020 run.
Caleb Martin has was a good role player but no way a guy who avg 12 points and 5 rebs is going to win ECF MvP award. He did play well in the Boston series but Butler play better overall!

Fake narrative by the organization to spend a negative narrative to make him disgruntled employee and detrimental to the team? It's okay for the organization to leak information or speak negative about a player? But as soon as, a player speak openly about their feelings and thoughts to the public? It's detrimental to the team. He was being asked by a reporter during a post game interview a question. And he gave an honest statement. It wasn't like he couldn't attend nor make himself available to the reporters to answer their questions. Because if he did that? He would have been fine for non complying with the NBA rules to make himself available to the media. Yes, he could have dodged the question or gave a fake response to the question. But he preferred to give them his honest feelings about the situation. And now people want to tell him to be quiet and shut up and dribble the basketball. Yes, he's fortunate to play professional basketball and make a lot of money in the process. But the same rules needs to be applied to the organization for not being able to say negative things about the player openly to the media. It's unfortunate that management and organizations and coaches can speak negatively of a player. But as soon as a player says something negative or expressed dissatisfaction of an organization? Then they want to label him disgruntled or a problem. But it's not the team, management or organizations that is the problem!?? And before anyone comments don't give me the nonsense that he is supposed to remain professional. However, others don't have to be professional nor be held at a higher standards themselves!!! It's funny! That people can give their opinions and say what they want to say!! But as soon as the employee/player speak up for himself and expressed his frustration and dissatisfaction with the company? Then that individual is the only one that has to remain professional. While others can slander or make false narrative about your character as a individual and a players. But you can't speak up for yourself!! And just like players/employees should be held at a certain standards. So should the organization and/or management should be held at even a higher standards!!!

But they were not very good at surrounding Jimmy with established veterans and getting him a another superstar to pair with. Those teams that went to the finals overachieved. For what he gave them he deserved more, and after a while you just get tired. So while this "Jimmy does this everywhere he goes" narrative isn't completely wrong...just remember the context.

      THANK YOU!!!
People miss the point because he tried to discipline young players in Chicago, push KAT & Wiggins pissing around doing the bare minimum in the Timberwolves, dealt with an up himself Ben Simmons & out of touch coach for 76ers in Brett Brown who wasted years with the talent he had at the time & management pushed Jimmy out.
Jimmy came into Miami in 2019/2020 and took this really young team to the Finals in his first year, and did it again with a better group in 2023 as the 8th seed knocking of a prime Bucks team, a prime Celtics team in the rematch conference finals before losing the chip to the Nuggets.
All he wanted was help from at least a star or another all star besides Bam. He did most of the work, and almost passed out doing Allen Iverson minutes at the playoffs - he was patient until a star joined the team, but Heat management didnt do that and kept finding potential steals & dark horses (Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, Caleb Martin etc.)
He lost his father which we can all agree is a tough loss personally, and during that time with the same mid players and no major stars to help carry, they kept blaming Jimmy expecting more & more when they're not even meeting half way.
That narrative everyone is clickbating and following is just wrong!! Jimmy proved himself big time
