Thanks Colin. It's an area close by, but not as often seen. Looks much greener than in many years. Luddenham is quite a nice village, and there seems to be at least some attempt to keep it that way by bypassing it with he A9. It's also not in line with the runways and off to one side of the airport, with some low hills in the way. That should make the noise level quite a bit more moderate than other places directly in line with the runway. I wonder how much confusion will be caused by also naming the somewhat distant (about 4km) Metro station and education precinct as 'Luddenham' (Technically they are in the same defined suburb area). Speaking of nice areas, although I've lived in the general area for decades, I only recently did a big explore further south into places around like Werombi and Theresa Park. Some seriously nice rural properties there. Reminds me a bit of the affluent rural parts of the Hills District.
@@stevemurnane1892 The pies are excellent, I always call in if passing. I thought the Village Cafe did burgers, and fish and chips dishes (among other stuff).
Yes the whole area is set for a major change that's for sure from rural to suburban city i feel the the residents who have lived there for most of their lives it's certainly a beautiful area that's for sure cheers col 👍

But they don't hare a burger or fish n chip shop! Bakery has Meat pie's and sausage rolls though. Nice but expensive!

I guess the flying drones over WSI is now off limits or will soon be .
Not at the moment however will eventually just getting some different perspective on the WSI site
