I don’t understand how this community can be this dumb… Kaido fought against 16 different people that are all above or Yonko Commander level. Yes, Luffy did the biggest part, but got knocked out 3 times in a single night. I’ll say it again for you. If Luffy and Kaido would 1v1 again both at full health Kaido would 100% win. It makes sense that the upcoming fights will still be very very very tough because it won’t be a 16vs1.
I don’t think that 100% Kaido would have a 100% chance of beating a full health gear 5 Luffy but he’d still most likely win after a brutal fight

I’m not the biggest One Piece fan I’ve legitimately gave it chance after chance but couldn’t ever get into it for some reason. But with that being said there are a lot of aspects in OP that I really like and think should be talked about. I really like the fact that Kaido when he was younger was optimistic and happy he was almost like Luffy in that sense. But after witnessing so much in life he changed and became harsher due to the world around him. I honestly really hope he’s not dead or anything and actually comes back and remembers who he used to be when he was younger and turn back to the fun loving optimistic Kaido he used to be since he was defeated by someone that is probably just like how a younger him used to be. But as far as Big Mom I don’t care what happened to her hopefully she got a lung or two full of Seawater with a little seaweed with it. And hope it’s salty as hell to her🤷🏾♂️!
He's 100% gone. He has no purpose in story progression now. Besides I think his death was quite fitting, let it stay that way.
Oda kinda messed up his backstory, should've given atleast 1-2 chapters since he's such a major villian.

This is the problem with ongoing series. Fandoms use headcanon and hype to prop up a shitty character. Before Kaido's backstory people were talking about how he's the most well written antagonist in shounen history. Then when it ended they finally accepted he was trash. And now they are propping up Blackbeard & Akainu as the next greatest antagonists in shounen.
Notice how the characters praised in this manga, are characters that we know nothing about, that haven't done much of anything for over 10 years. It's pure headcanon that carries this story for the fanboys.
Now we're back on track.

I think you have things mixed up, Yamato only said she wanted to become Oden after his legendary hour, not before, why didn't anyone pointed out that Luffy did breakoff his horn I didn't know that, did anyone do that? If that's true then Kaido and Big Mom May truly be dead, guess we're not getting closure on Big Mom's ties with Elbaf.
If there was anything else I wanted Kaidou to say, then it would be,
"You may have brought my reign to an end "Joyboy". But know that your days as anything but a simple pirate has ONLY JUST BEGAN!"
All while doing it in a defeated Momoshiki fashion!

So is Kaido the big villain of these past few arcs? Then does that make Blackbeard the final boss? Since Doflamingo was working for Kaido, it would seem like he is the mastermind behind everything. Just like a Nagato-Obito-Madara or Nappa-Vegeta-Frieza ladder of leadership maybe?
He was the overarching main villain of the past 3 arcs. He kinda filled the obito/madara role, he operated the smile trade from the shadows like obito did with akatsuki and was a nearly unstoppable force like madara
