What I love about Yamato as possibly my favorite future strawhat is compared to everyone else, her dream isn't really her own and she pretty much just took on the torch and all thats revealed so far is she only really wants to set out to sea. Her dream doesn't really have a goal to be achieved besides helping others achieve theirs and be witness to it. She has had very meaningful interactions with great figures from Kaido, the Samurai, Oden, the Journals, Ace, to Luffy and she just got inspired by all of them. These are just stories she's heard and not really much of a history that she had unlike Zoro training with Kuina, Franky as a trainee of Tom, Robin's ties with Ohara, etc. Its like her life is just beginning and she has yet to find herself and what she wants. Very interesting character and I really hope she joins soon and actually grows beyond just being "Oden".
That on top of being the one who ate the ONLY good artificial devil fruit (the only one created by Vegapunk instead of Ceasar), that works exactly like the original, and is a fucking Dragon...while the others are stuck as horrifying half animal abominations forever.
I like how that kaido and his crew didnt care that Yamato decided to identify as a man, but was against the idea of him being oden. That is because kaido Is a very loving father and has no faults whatsoever.
