Both have heavy gnosticism vibes (sephirot, imaginary tree in Hi3, Phanes, alchemical symbols) and both have humans being cursed into monsters (distortion/peccatulum/hilichurls) and both have multiple anime refernces, religious analogies and themes of humanity's strength prevailing against all odds + the sins of the past heavily affecting the future (carmen's ignorance/khaerin'ah's arrogation causing untold amounts of tragedy due to the Head/Celestia interference, causing the cataclysm/white nights and dark days to negatively affect their respective worlds). where genshin has abyssal knowledfe, honkai has will of honkai, Limbus is starting to dripfeed us about the Stars in the Outskirts that come from outer space, which sounds eerily similair to the universe outside of tevyat. glad to see two of my favourite games share similiarities. also both have fire OSTs.

There's also this girl with a pitch place circle in where her race should be, as well as the world containing many twisted version of fairy tales. In addition the protagonist is also named after a famous author.
Kinda fitting that Xiao and Yan share the same korean VA as in both are depressed small bois that are on the verge of going insane and turning into an abominable monster
