How to set the statistics to show the kilometers covered throughout the day? I have a mi band 8 active

I received mine today, and when I was trying to set it up and scan the QR code to download the app the battery was draining rapidly from 100 to 90 in less then 10 minutes.
But after connecting to the app it stopped draining.
It's been 6 hours when I can connected it to my phone the battery drained by 5%.
The watch should last 14 days as advertised but I'm not sure whether that's when it's connected or on standby mode.
