And they even say hell and damn a couple times in the movie, and that’s pretty crazy to hear from Nickelodeon. (I don’t care they said it, I think it’s crazy hearing it from nick)
@Ionut Makz oh my bad im stupid
i used to always confuse rango with django unchained
Both are inspired by the original Django from 1960's so it's okay
i accidentally said rango unchained while talking about django in film studies and i realised the potential of a rango sequel about slavery but in a kid friendly sorta way
They rhyme, and they are both westerns so it makes sense 😂
Hehe I got a shoutout in a NICKelodeon video
That’s so on brand

I didn't get a Oscar for nothing
I think Rango is not only a masterpiece, but the best Nickelodeon movie and 1 of my favourite animated movies
We don´t really care if Nacho Libre it´s racist or not, it´s pretty much loved here in México
In Brazil too
In the whole world too

The Spongebob Movie is still a genuine knockout.
Hans H.S. It holds up so well and even had a good song and script
@@bluesolace9052 It's a really bright movie. The characters stay true to who they are in the show, whilst the jokes pop off twice every minute.
Both Spongebob movies were great
I hope the third movie be good
Amazing cast, witty humor, very colorful. The Spongebob movie has it all.
As a Mexican American, I will say, Nacho Libre is revered in our community.
I love that movie to death
I watched this movie many times. It was one of the movies that helped me get threw a dark time in my life and It holds a special place in my heart I still enjoy watching Nacho Libre sometimes definitely a classic
Rango is a goddamn cinematic masterpiece, and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.
Space Cowboy I think it was okay. It just doesn’t rank among the best animated feature winners imo.
U drunk man.
the jimmy neutron movie was the first dvd my family ever owned
My family taped it illegally on a blank vhs
Too bad J.N lost a freaking Oscar to a bad Dreamworks movie.
Ana Gabriela Figueroa Both JN and Shrek are good. At least JN got a nomination.
@@octoisgay But I would had love to see Jimmy Neutron as an Oscar winner because I though Shrek was unfunny, annoying, cringey, boring and tried way hard to be an edgier version of a Disney flim. Sorry, but I really hate Shrek.

I'm Mexican/Salvadoran and my entire family loves Nacho Libre. It's a classic for us. ♥

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Nickelodeon's very first film.
Harriet the spy.
Lol I thought that was Disney since that girl was from that Wizard show

Omfg that movie will never get old I can rewatch that movie anytime
@NeverMindGaming Me neither, but I read that it was well received
Its a nickelodeon movie??
Is it okay to have problems with that movie (because Nickelodeon made it) or is that offensive to the people that like it?
The Adventures of Tintin was a classic.
The SpongeBob Movie is unironically one of my favorite films.
Lukenzo same here
Same
*Top 5 Best Nickelodeon Movies*
1. The Adventures of Tintin (it’s the first movie to earn AniMat’s Seal of Approval with motion capture animation done exceptionally, very intense action scenes and a high sense of adventure that makes it feel like the Tintin comics & TV series of the early 1990s)
2. The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie (while The SpongeBob Squarepants movie has minor nitpicks compared to the major pros that made it amazing, Sponge Out of Water isn’t as bad as Karaten Runquist himself thinks it is, but it is a mixed bag and his criticisms are understandable so at the end of the days, different strokes for different folks. Sponge on the Run, on the other hand, was made to disrespect the dead, which in this case, is Stephen Hillenburg!)
3. Nacho Libre (depending on your view, personally, outside of the usual Nickelodeon fart jokes, it’s actually very hilarious with its representation of Mexican culture taking a step from Speedy Gonzales)
4. Rango
5. Rugrats in Paris: The Movie (even though I am not a Rugrats fan except for maybe post-season 1 of All Grown Up, I’m surprised by just how good it is, even with its flaws like adding “The Movie” after “Rugrats in Paris” in the title and the joke of a sumo acting like a sensual woman singer made me feel uncomfortable. But outside of that, it did have heartfelt story about Chucky finding his mom, Reptarland being larger than life, a clever parody of The Godfather unlike Shark Tale which has been overplayed on Nickelodeon, diligent 2D animation while offset by Klasky Csupo’s designs and characters so likeable that even Dil and Angelica were praised by the people that are off-put by them including the scene where the latter stood up to Coco LaBouche after betraying her)
Honourable Mention: Mad Hot Ballroom (because it is a Nickelodeon movie, it does feel kinda creepy seeing decade-old children talk about sex, as in both dating and sexism, but they did know how to make the best out of it by having an uplifting atmosphere of children that will to work hard in order to become strong dancers)
But what about the rest?
While some are far-from-great guilty pleasures at best like Charlotte’s Web (on one hand, it feels like the book and 1973 movie. On the other hand, though, it feels like a typical Disney remake of the post-2000s), Good Burger (starring Dirty Dan), The Wild Thornberries Movie (Jambareeqi did our favourite review of this movie, because while it’s only debatably decent, it’s undebatably the best The Wild Thornberries will ever be) and Clockstoppers (a lot of people defend it, and while it’s understandable because French Stewart made an epic villain that shaped the early 2000s spy movies like Spy Kids 1 & 2, it doesn’t change that its lead characters are gender stereotypes, especially when Francesca didn’t come up with a better reaction than to freak out like an old-fashioned house-wife which unlike Nostalgia Critic whom I have mixed but mostly very negative feelings towards, I’m not the first one to point out.), a lot of them are just god-awful, like The Last Airbender, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events (it’s liked because of nostalgia, but if you see Erod’s review of it, you will find out exactly why it’s Nickelodeonized/wasted potential), The Spiderwick Chronicles, Wonder Park, the Fred trilogy, Nicky Deuce, Swindle, Spectacular (a poor man’s High School Musical), Bayformers 1-5, Fun Size, Snow Day, Hotel for Dogs, Yours Mine & Ours, Imagine That, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014 and the sequel, Out of the Shadows), Angus Thongs & Perfect Snoggings, Monster Trucks, Dora and the Lost City of Gold (I understand that people would like it because it did make fun of Dora, but I knew that because it is a live-action Dora movie, it would use the “It’s for kids” excuse to justify its existence as a movie that feels like a typical Disney remake of post-2013) and Playing With Fire.

Tintin is highly underrated. One of Spielberg's best film of this decade.
I remmember watching that on the movies nearly a decade ago :, 333
However, no matter how much of an underrated gem The Adventures of Tintin is, Nickelodeon (even as Nickelodeon Movies) is just an annoying, immature, racist and sexist company that treats animation and sitcoms like a silly genre for kids.
I mean... Nacho’s dad was from Scandinavia so... gray area?

Pop Culture ikr! One of my favorite movies

Rango is one of the most underappreciated animated movie of all time, I can't think of a movie that looks more unique.
How could you not talk about the modern classic that is Rugrats in Paris.
Drake Bell actually came and performed a concert at our High School last year. He was a really nice guy and I got a picture with him which may or may not be my phone lock screen...
yeah he came to mine but I missed school that day so nice
Mine too! I'm pretty sure it was for community service tho
@NeverMindGaming He was apart of a program called "High School Nation" which had a number of young, rising artists who talked to us and all performed... and then Drake Bell was the cherry on top at the very end!
I thought he went off to Mexico, and changed his last name to Campana.

Series of Unfortunate Events still holds up as one of my favorite movies of all time. Bizarre, twisted, but the cinematography is gorgeous, the mood surreal, casting perfect, and the script really nicely done, at least for me. It's such a gorgeous film. I always cry at the end.

Nickelodeon was best in the good old days. I do so remember in the 1910s going to the local Nickelodeon right next to the haberdashery. Films were a nickel a piece and they never seemed to fail at bringing joy. Splendid times indeed.
As for Nickelodeon's recent animated movie Wonder Park I did see it and I was the only one in that movie theater. It's always a good sign for you're a hundred million dollar production budget film to have no one in the theater opening Thursday night
tinting is super good, like it’s actually good, doesn’t even feel like Nick movie
*Tintin, but yeah, I agree. The last great Spielberg movie.
Bro I remember seeing Rango when I was a little kid and I for some reason I was horrified of it. I haven't watched it in a while, but I remember the existential terror it gave me. I'm not sure why this is, but I'm scared to rewatch it. I remember it being extremely odd, and I don't want to erase that for some reason. Idk it's hard to put this into words, but yeah.
Edit: also, didn't it have a cowboy Jesus or something?
It was the Man With No Name who meets Rango after he was revealed to be a liar.
Thanks for the Hotel for Dogs mention, that movie was PREVALENT in my childhood. Also Rango is great
Nacho Libre and Good Burger are the most nostalgic movies for me, they’re just so damn watchable
Is anyone going to talk about how fire that music is tho
Yeah, if anyone can find out what that funk hip hop tune is called that would be cool as
Mexicans love nacho libre don't worry it gets a pass
Yeah we love Nacho libre
the general consensus of all my mexican/latino friends who love nacho libre is that it's not racist because white mexican people definitely exist and jack black is just playing a white mexican with an accent... but don't quote me on that
I never got why Mexicans are branded as non-white anyway. I mean, I get that mestizos are a thing, but you'd think that because Mexico was colonised by the Spanish (i.e. *white* people), that the common assumption - keyword: *assumption* - would be that Mexicans are generally white. I can't be the only one who thought that as a kid, can I?
Also, doesn't Jack Black have an accent anyway? Just not a Mexican accent. Anyone who talks has an accent.
Rango is my favorite movie. Thank you for bringing it to light
I still watch Good Burger to this day *and I'm proud*
I absoulutly love the Spongebob movie. It once begged to grt the DVD.
I have a double dvd set of The wild Thornberrys and Rugrats.
I didn't know that ASOUE was a Nickelodeon movie...
I thank Netflix for Good Burger.
Rango is the bomb and I honestly like Barnyard
Rango is probably one of the best animated movies I've ever watched, right up there with Into the Spiderverse The art style is so original and fits extremely well with the story, plus the voice acting is amazing too
Nickelodeon Movies kind of went in a big circle. They went from broad family films like Harriet the Spy and Clockstoppers and Good Burger, to suddenly being Oscar and blockbuster-caliber with Lemony Snicket, Rango and The Adventures of Tintin (with SPIELBERG, PETER JACKSON, EDGAR WRIGHT and ANDY SERKIS) and now they’re back to Monster Trucks and Playing with Fire. I think it’s because that sweet-spot big budget PG family film and that 2000s era of filmmaking is over and everything’s gotta be tied to a franchise or superheroes. Maybe one day they’ll come back somehow in some postmodern form.
I, a Mexican, do not think nacho libra is racist, he's my hero and my KING
The Jimmy Neutron movie SLAPPED when I was a kid
Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius rules! It should had won that Oscar, I hate Shrek.
Actually Good Burger was a spin off of All That, probably the best sketch comedy in history.
As a part of the 2000s generation, i Loved the Barnyard movie and hotel for dogs. The "wont back down" scene in barnyard is one of my favorite movie scenes, the song fits it amazingly.
Woah this video just brought back a wave of nostalgia for me
Good Burger brought in fans from Kenan and Kel, but mostly All That, the show that the Good Burger sketch came from
Fun fact: Good Burger was based off of the Good Burger Sketch on the original All That which Kennan and Kel where two of the stars.
Thank you for not bringing up the last airbender

TBH I find the series WAY BETTER than the movie. The movie is rushed AF, it's really clear after you see the series.
Dude I freaking love Rango so so much UGH
I'd say Rango is probably my favorite film. Needless to say, it's visually beautiful, but it's mature themes and heavy moods are what really make it shine. The road scene has truly become one of my favorite moments in all of cinema.
Also Nacho Libre is godly.

I am simple man. I see Rango on the thumbnail, I click.
Tintin was meh, cinematography was amazing, but absolutely disrespected the source material (More like Lightning Thief/Sea of Monsters).
