Aurang It’s just been announced that Reignited Trilogy has a feature where you can instantly switch from the remade Spyro music to the old Spyro music in the pause menu.

@@austinthomas8464 I remember when I played this game long time ago, and my dad was bringing dinner to me because I couldn't stop playing Spyro. Man, those were good times. I'm also 24, btw.
That moment when you hear a melody, a simple melody, nothing special really, but because you have listened to it 15 years ago it becomes so much valuable...
Same. I felt the level was short. Also Idk why I wanted to be an adult so much… now I miss being a kid… I been revisiting my childhood. I got a ps2 and I’m playing all the classic games.
Brings back memories of Christmas of 1998. My brother and I got a PlayStation for Christmas with Spyro and Crash Bandicoot Warped. My dad’s rule was he always got to play the games first no matter what. I had got a Tyco RC car that day also and while waiting to play on the new PlayStation that my dad was hogging up, I was playing with my remote control car doing all kinds of tricks and I specifically remember my dad playing this first level and hearing this music playing while racing the car around the house. The whole house just felt cozy that day. There were great christmases and nostalgic moments before and after this specific one, but none of them ever hit the way my ninth one did. To be a kid again..
I wish I had the chance to play the originals when I was young. In fact, I never had heard of Spyro until like 2016. I got the Reignited Trilogy Like a month ago though. So far, I've got the first done, and am about half way through Ripto's. Man, the people who played the originals way back then, ya'll have something I will never know about... Memories, feelings, just. So much with that game. Not that I don't have memories and feelings for games I played when I was young but for a game like this.. It's different. Also, I like this track a lot. Very calming. I like this one more than the Reignited version.
Spyro 1 also had the most cohesive and unified aesthetics in its art design and choices of musical instrumentation of the original trilogy too, focusing on a Western Medieval fantasy setting which slowly added steampunk elements to it, with all of the songs being chiptune rock music. The later games tended to branch out in aesthetics, lifting elements from many disparate genres of fantasy from different regions of the world and using one-off instruments for some music themes in the later games.
@@THNF89 there was always something special about ripto's rage, was always mad that I lost ripto's rage as a kid and only had the first and the third Spyro games.
Thank you Mr Copeland for that song. I wonder how insomniac games could convince the drummer of the police to make the soundtrack of this game, how the approach was made.
Chills go down my spine when I hear this I think it was because this was my first real feeling of a game being "open", like you had the world to explore.
this music really opens something up for me now, something really nice and warm and makes me feel special inside. lol. I almost cant believe that this is still the same life im living now as it was when i was playing this game all those satuday mornings. And it makes me cry, but in a joyful way.
The Reignited soundtrack isn't different enough to stand out in its own way but is too different to accurately replicate the quality of the original. It's a real shame.
Just got a copy of the masterpiece of a game the other day, already beat it and now I have this soundtrack stuck in my head... Such bliss... Spyro lives on forever! .. 2017 and I'm still playing!

Wow, such good memories and times that this song reminds me of while growing up and playing spyro. Its funny how all of us who grew up playing Spyro as a kid all think alike in this same way like this. Memories that will last a lifetime and will never go away! Best childhood ever
This was my favourite level by a mile because of the peaceful music and it was a great level to play on. Also while it was one of the easiest levels, the level was still fun to do. The night time background was also a massive success with Dark Hollow level

I remember burning the grass as well It was just little stuff like that that made Spyro special, the effort put into making a world that felt alive. It reacted to you, rather than you reacting to it.

I thought those were drumsticks
@@LucarioBlade 3 years later, I’m just finding out they actually are drumsticks! Attention to detail.
Best level of any of the Spyro games 😊
Favorite Spyro song ever! I miss this Dx
The original music track was better than the reignighted trilogy
THE GAME THAT ALL KIDS WILL NEVER FORGET I STILL PLAY THIS GAME EVEN IM 15 YEARS OLD NOW :)) WHO CARES I LOVE THIS GAME AND IM PROUD OF IT!!!!!!!!!!
I remember this was the level where I started to feel like this game was different from every other game I had played before.
I remember charging into the lamp posts, and the lamp wobbling and creaking. I remember breathing fire on the little piles of wood and them lighting on fire and producing light. I remember burning the grass as well
It was just little stuff like that that made Spyro special, the effort put into making a world that felt alive. It reacted to you, rather than you reacting to it.
0:00 That music is so sad and squeak sound when you charge at the lamppost is also make me sad and cry.
yep ^_^ lol wow I left that comment 2 years ago.. still love listening to spyro music.!
Ah the childhood times.... Everything was much better, the videogames (they were more challenging and enjoyable I think) the music (yeah I loved them e.g. Eurodance songs and early classic trance, Happy Hardcore... :D) cartoons and so on...
The 90s were so fun! I feel sorry for today's kids, they don't know what they missed... :))
Exactly as i felt when I played this is like...1998...i was only 7/8.
Took the words right out of my mouth. :).
