My family and I operate a 40 cow dairy here in South Central Illinois. Love watching all of your videos. Would love to see you do a video of a sit down with your mom and dad. Would love to know how they met and hear the story of their farming life since they've been married. I think a lot of your viewers would be interested in this.... Thanks and keep up the good work!

Thank God for coal shovels. My Grampa introduced a coal shovel to me when I was about 9. We got clobbered with snow and needed to get to the chicken coop. I never worked so hard in my life. Incredible adventure I’ll never forget. Shoveled that path all by myself. When I finally got to the coop I looked over my shoulder back to the house. Gramp was watching me through the window. Felt like I could conquer the world.

Another good video! God bless. I imagine by now real winter has arrived in Wisconsin! That 686 is sharp, even though I am biased towards green ( both John Deere and Oliver green) 260,000! Wow! German engineering.......... I hope your family at Gierok Farms have a good winter season. Your family does a great job.

So good to get al of that work done before the cold snowy weather began. Its 17 here right now, 12:30 AM 1/21, but it is supposed to warm up some.
Love the shovel. We used one like that to shovel the snow drifts that would form on the south side of the hill my parents lived on. Think someone must have dug that driveway partially out of the hill and it would always drift badly. Thanks for the video.

First, Thank you for providing such excellent content for us. Second I'd love to see your snow removal system, from door to done. Where do you cut in, who runs blade, auger, where does excess go , how many little paths, etc. Do you use sand when ice is metal grey ? As an ex Maine snow removal guy ( City blocks worth of buildings and exits) I'm curious to see how you do it.

Not too much different than us moving silage in a dump wagon with a Farmall 560. Farmers in Wisconsin tend to be on top of things. Probably farmers everywhere are. We have to be to stay in business. 💪👍👍👍

260 k, good but - 552k on the ole Ford Escort purchased new by my wife 23 years ago! No engine or transmission work ever. Mobil 1 oil since day 1, stored inside heated shop. Synthetic trans fluid every 70k instead of 100k. About due for the next timing belt if I want to reach 600k - uffda, $1,200?!?? Still gets 36 to 39 mpg in the summer. I remember the salesman laughing when I brought her in for maintenance at 440k. Who's laughing now, on the way to the bank!
