I bought it 2 days ago. What a wonderful and minimalistic piece of magic art. Concentrates on the essentials. Finally fantastic magic with a sensational price. Your presentation was great. Thank you. xox tom
Modern magicians tend to undervalue classics. If a trick has been around for 400 years there's something to it. I doubt very much that even 10% of magic coming out now will be around in 400 years. Also, modern magicians have something an obsession with props that look "natural" but spectators usually love to see something weird.
Very fair price for something that all magicians need…non-card effects. I have Dean Dill’s version, which is great but the method can be a bit “dainty”, which can cause an issue getting the cords through the beads. I think I’m going to try this one out. I like the clear beads too. Thank you, Rick, for another helpful review.
Completely in my wheelhouse! Patter is right on time with my routine! I have a story already rapped around it, and it's what I've been doing for years grandpa, harry houdini, ring routines and some grandma's wallet stuff this gonna be awesome thanks for bringing this to my attention. This is such a good video, Rick! The production quality is amazing! The audio, light, everything. Just things I notice being a fellow RUclipsr haha. And now I feel like I need this trick!
Thank's for the review Rick! TCC has definitely been releasing some really interesting magic lately. And by the way I love your new video setup! Sure gonna miss looking at your bookshelves though! - Ernest
Nice to see a little different magic on the channel. Don't get me wrong, coins are great, just a nice change of pace to see other stuff on here once in a while.
Thanks Rick! Great insight and demo. I've been on the fence about this one, but now I am going to pick it up. I normally perform with cards and coins but I think this will be a nice change and a very easy carry. Take care and be well....
@@RickHolcombe thanks so much ...I hope so but I don't have money to buy ...I'm Philippines the value of money here from there is to high ... And I have no work .. I'm hoping for all reviews that giveaways so I have one so that I can start magic to my friends and family ..
I perform a stage version of this trick which is described in Tarbell Vol. 4 as 'Cords of Phantasia'. It's a great trick, but it needs to have a modern presentation. The old "orientalism" approach as described in the book is outdated/borderline racist 🙄
Bringing the old days of magic into the hearts of the kid in each of us - you are *tops* !

You'll love it. It surprised me, but I also have never tried any of the versions before
Excellent review, I loved your exhibition, I think I'm going to buy it. Thank you so much!!

Glad to help!
If it's good enough for Rick Holcombe and Dean Dill it's good enough for me.
This is such a good video, Rick! The production quality is amazing! The audio, light, everything. Just things I notice being a fellow RUclipsr haha. And now I feel like I need this trick!
Haha! Thanks Sean, it really is a fun trick!
Great review thankyou. Thinking it will be good for my 8 year old, getting him into learning magic

Thanks! The books are still there behind the curtain. This has been a cleaner look for when I do lessons and filming tutorials, I like it.

TCC plus you is a great combination!
I like the new setup 👌🏻
Thanks Miika! I like it too, it's less cluttered.
Charming presentation.
Hi Rick, I sent you an email regarding my purchase of this.
Excellent review!
That's kinda cool looking, but not my wheelhouse. Might grab it for my daughter down the road though... my 9 year old loves this sort of things.
That was my thought too, but trust me, it's a good one
THIS LOOKS LIKE A COOL TRICK, TO BREAK UP THE CARD MAGIC STUFF
Rick sent you an email.
New subscribers from Philippines ... I hope I can have this one . But I have no enough money to buy this ,😢
Thanks for being here! They have it discounted right now until April 23rd

TCC is killing it right now. Pretty annoying on the wallet haha.
