Advocacy in Pediatrics | Curriculum Beyond the Clinic

The advocacy program for GME residents at Nationwide Children’s Hospital allows trainees to learn first-hand what it means to be an advocate for children in many different areas -- including legislative work, community outreach, mentorship, and other skills needed to address child health inequities.
At NCH, we believe that our work as health care providers goes far beyond the clinical setting, and that’s why our trainees gain the invaluable experience of advocacy through initiatives like Healthy Neighborhoods Healthy Families.
