This was the best of the travelogue-type Pompeii videos I’ve seen on RUclips. The music suits the gravity of the subject. I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent video ! I especially appreciate the sensitive, melancholic piano, very much in tune with the sadness of the disaster.
Your camerawork is pretty good, better than most I have seen (I am an ex pro cinematographer).
    Thanks for posting this.

Короче... как говорят у меня на родине жители помпей страх потеряли вот всевышний Аллах им его и вернул.. Сейчас Европа похожее и вы творите... побойтесь гнева творца.!

The music is irritating but the video is interesting otherwise. Home movies with boring music do not a masterpiece make.

I liked the music they chose. Much better than an unrelated pop song like I’ve heard on other channels. They did a great job.

lets not forget who , actually created all this construction and finery...slaves

    • @kittiwhieldon4329

Roman slaves weren’t like their 19 century American counterparts. They could and often did earn their freedom and many of them became full fledged Roman citizens.

@@kittiwhieldon4329 I'm aware that a slave had that opportunity, of the millions of slaves that the empire had in its long history, what percentage do you suppose rose to freedom

@@danielwiederkehr5163 I wouldn’t dare venture a guess without research. Not everyone is aware of the differences between 18 century slavery and slavery in antiquity. I was pointing out that one differences for those that were unaware. No reason to take offense. I wasn’t insulting you personally or suggesting that you, a total stranger to me, was anything less than an expert on slavery in Ancient Rome.

@@kittiwhieldon4329 No offense taken. slavery is slavery ,ancient or modern, and, no, not an expert on ancient slavery, got that dig, just read what there is about it.

@@pepper.eggy.nugget those places blow my mind and I'm sure a lot of other people's that's why it's awesome to see through someone's actual eyes, I'm new to this channel but I'd like to know the crew also. All those little details matter even if they're just a little subtitle. It's cool to see what you're looking at at least even if it's only a small fact. I'm from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and have only been out of the country once so these are my dream spots to see. Herculaneum also blows my mind. Thanks
