Nice old FALCON 500 ,with the 408 cubic inches ,yes the Cleveland engine can be tricky to build but once built right, the CLEVELAND can be an incredibly powerful beast of a motor

Thanks for the garage and hoist dimensions. I am in the process of getting my garage approved and it is 7.5 deep with similar height. I still haven't decided whether a 2 post hoist or 4 post storage ramp is the best way to go as I will be stacking and storing 2 cars 90% of the time.

@@backshed5295 even the big selling popular corolla and corona had pushrod camshaft back in the day ..70's ..good blocks those 4 cylinder jap engines ..easy to fix blown head gasket ..? Not that I'm a mechanic but helped fix one ..I remember going to get the head machined back early eighties..got cheap head from wreckers .

I wish we had kept the Falcon nameplate over here. It’s funny how Aussie guys don’t mind a four door hard top. They actually come with lime Gt performance packs over there did they not? They never did that with a f4 door cars in the US. Those were family cars. The muscle cars were always 2 door hard top. I think it’s cool you guys did that though.
I think the market over here just found 4 door more saleable/ practical so if that’s what sold that’s what they produced. We have very few 2 door cars. 🍺👍
