Not taught how to physiologically balance the neurotransmitters and support neurosteroid production with diet, lifestyle, and metabolically supportive supps or meds. It’s usually either SSRIs or dopamine antagonists, and do they ever actually measure brain levels of either in patients? Do they ever try to make sure their patients are eating regularly and at least meeting their RDA requirements? What about checking other hormones that are heavily associated with mental illnesses?
The problem with it is that it’s unregulated. I don’t know anyone who has smoked a dispensary joint and collapsed from it. I did one time take a dab, it was hot and humid, and I hadn’t drank enough water and passed out - but there were more environmental factors involved than just the joint.
