Just when I was about to give up on hearing "my" kind of music ever again, I stumbled on George Ezra, The Revivalists, Alabama Shakes, and best of all, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. I don't want to die just yet.
What is this greatness coming from my speakers? It a shame because good music always gets buried by crap music.
What the actual fuck? I just heard these guys on the radio two days ago. I tried to figure out why I hadn't heard about them in the early 80's... then I found out that they were a new band. I still don't know how it's possible.
But, for gods sakes, keep doing this.

This song made me cry. I'm a grown man who cried at how happy I felt listening to this song. Scoff if you must, laugh if you can't help yourself, that's ok. If you're reading this then it's a pretty good bet that you love this song as well.
I've been stuck at home for 2 weeks with back spasms. This song made me get out of bed and dance. I found myself singing harmonies, tweeting, and sharing the hell out of this song. I'm a now and forever fan.

These guys saved my life. I didn't even know how long since I had been in the dumps feeling sorry for myself till I listened to their album, they seem to be playing from... with?... against? a burning hole in them, not teenagers telling me about their angst, grown ass men with huge scars in them using it for songs like Hey Mama.... brought me back to reality, yes it hurts and what? I'm not special, or we all are, nothing to do but get on and be a man, if that makes sense....

I really hope that a new album comes out amid all of the hell that we have all had to deal with over this past year. Nathaniel has made some stellar music over the years, but his work with the night sweats is something that I feel I can hold on to for a long time. Please boys, we need more of this because the world has been lacking in this kind of spirit.

Not only is all their music incredible, but the guys who produce their video does an excellent job - every one has a nostalgic vibe with great vision for the feel of the music.
There's a serious threat of this music though...sometimes I like to listen to the song and relax with a friend, but this band's entire catalog is like an instant house party.
I'm just trying to watch a game with a couple friends, here comes NR&TNS and next thing I know it's 5 am, I'm short a bottle of jack, no more food in the fridge and my floor has become a campground.
...just in case anyone is curious to how I plan on spending my Saturday tonight....bring a sleeping bag.

I'm so glad I was listening to KRVM ..and heard Survivor.It has turned me on to all of thier fantastic music they bring for us to enjoy. Beyond WOW.
Such an important band to my soul
Just saw them live in Dublin, and took someone who'd never heard of them before. In a word - Brilliant. They had so much energy, so much talent, and from the moment they started - NO ONE and I mean NO ONE was in their seat - we were all too busy dancing. Just Wow. I can't wait to see them again. Here! Take my money!!

I love how these guys sounds so vintage rock from decades ago without sounding dated. It's an amazing balance of old and new.
This is like some old school rock mixed with some gospel and jazz. God damn these guys are really good will definitely be waiting to see what they do for their next album.

I cannot believe I found a group making great original Rock and Roll with a full band + trumpet and sax! I swear these guys are channeling Otis Reading, Van Morrison, James Taylor and the other great rock and roll singer/songwriters. Hopefully this will cause some kids to start trying to find great new music and discover some of the past greats.
I'm hearing The Four Tops, Herman's Hermits (heavily in other songs) and The Red Stick Ramblers. I'm completely in love with this band!!!! And BRASS!! I hear brass and I'm an instant fan.
And, Nathaniel's dancing has a 'James Brown' feel, and I LOVE IT!
NATHAN SPITZER if you want to hear some music rock type music with trumpet and sax, listen to Coy Bowles and the Fellowship/Coy Bowles. He is a manner of the Zac Brown Band. His band is not popular at all, but it sounds so good. Look it it up on Spotify. You won't be disappointed.

Saw them in Asheville, NC in November and it was by far one of the best shows I've seen in a very long time. Lenny Kravitz, who is a seasoned vet in the industry didn't move me like this band did. I recommend this band being seen if they come into your area

I only heard these guys on Jan 16, 2016. I think they are amazing, and wonder why I didn't hear of them before. The sad thing is, they played in Vancouver ( 1 1/2 hours from me), on the 21st! Too late for me to get to see them. I hope they come back!!
