I have been skating for almost six years, but this week i realized i had never done a backside revert. I need that to learn slappy backtail. It was crazy, i felt like i had never steped on a skateboard 😂. Basic change of balance got me for a bit.
    Stay rad Sir.

That's awesome brotha! It's crazy how some movements are harder than others, for some people than others It's just like second nature 😂. I told myself after my powerslide tip video that I would learn to do bs powerslides and basically forgot about it til more recently, but I still can't do those great haha! Love your attitude toward skating and you stay rad as well, my dude! 🤙

@@pushstartskateboarding some people just belong on in a skateboard. Then there is me 🤣. I just love it and try and put in the work to keep doing it. i will take the good the bad and the ugly as long as it means I get to skate.

@AdventuresInSkateboarding exactly! Some days I feel like the first one other days I'm definitely the latter and feel I can't skate 😅, but I have fun either way!

Love finding all these channels! Even though I’ve skated a long time there’s a plethora of things I’ve never tried or gotten consistently because I tend to stick to my most comfortable tricks. This def gave me some ideas

exactly bruv. skate muscles are important and can only be developed by actual skateboarding, which is how we all grew up skating. but to each their own. i think think there is a separate genre of skaters who love the fear of wobbly skating and skecthiness with this new generation, i mean there always was sketchy unbalanced skaters, but there are skaters depressingly making sketchy, self abusive skating on "basics' look good by they are truly having fun living and loving skating as well as the popsicle shape. ive learnt to not judge as i age. 8 billion humans, we all like different vibes and energies
    different thrills

Well said Luke! Well, there are tons of exercises and stretches that you can do with body weight. This Australian guy has a whole instagram explaining them and he even sells his own workout plans. You're correct about the "wobbly style" that does seem to be a big trend right now. All I can say about that, is eventually they will have good balance naturally just by spending time on the skateboard.

This goes double for people who haven’t skated in a while like me lol. Gotta activate the muscle memory before getting into the meat and potatoes 🔥
