How do you move forward in skateboarding? Push Start!
Gotta push start to move your skateboard, play a video game; metaphorically 'push start' your life, if you have a car newer than 2012, it might be a push start.
Push Start is a skateboarding channel focused on Learning, Progression and all about just having FUN on a wooden plank on wheels! It is also more than that. DanO finally breaks down and buys some new CHEAP shoes from Walmart to see if he can skate in them just as well as Van’s or any other skate shoes, or better? Maybe maybe not! Watch and see for yourself if it’s worth it to buy a cheap knockoff skate shoe!
We at Push Start, would still probably advise you to spend the extra money and get a true skate shoe. Your feet will surely thank you! This video is just to show that you can skate with anything (even barefoot if you want), but no matter what you do, have fun with it and keep it positive!
At this point, not sure if music or no music is the way to go… is it too distracting? Do I just need to lower the music volume a little more? Let me kno...

What a time to be alive. I've woke up in the middle of the night hungry on the other side of the world, eating cereal and got to hear piece of your story. I've been depressed most of my life, felt hopeless and suicidal. But you should never loose hope, never know what life can bring you. Love is the answer ❤️

Yep DT Phoenix has tons of good spots.. some are very gnarly but there’s something for everybody if you explore a little

Have you tried using contact cement instead of spray adhesive?
This is my first time trying sandpaper as griptape. It’s way thinner than griptape so I imagine would still tip up easily, but might try again with that 🤔

Seems like they should build skateparks that have more shade, maybe even a high ceiling for cover in AZ at least. You cant skate most of the parks because its too damn hot in the summer.
I know! They're already spending millions on some of these parks. Least they can do is put some kimd of shade in the park

Thank you! Trick is to wind up with your body and rotate your shoulders after you ollie. When you get more used to it you'll find you don't need to wind up as much 💯

I bought those when I first started skating again. The shoes themselves are fine for the price. But I wore a hole through the sole in about 10 days
That's how I feel with vans haha but their Slip-ons are pretty cool
I have a pair of Airwalks. They feel good. Better than D.C.s and remind me of the D.V.S shoes from like 04' - 05' ish. Gum soles are always good.
Great shoes for a budget for sure, Joe says they slipped more than shoes he's used to skating which I think are vans, but they seem to hold up fine
