From my experience with throwing playing cards most of the accuracy is gained by making the cards spin faster which makes them more stable and less affected by air resistance. So it's a trade off between speed and accuracy, if you put more energy into the spin the cards will be more stable, but that's less energy you put into the forward speed. Then again, that speed is lost very quickly once the card becomes unstable. Which is why this launcher will cut an apple, but only at very close range.
Reload time: 5s Rate Of Fire: 6 cards/s Accuracy: Low Damage: 4 HP I'd say this is a gun for close range, and should be used when dealing with many small enemies.
You might also enjoy the channel Primitive Technology. It has a similar style, but instead of LEGO, it’s a guy in the wilderness building stuff with the most primitive tools and materials available.
If the average pack of playing cards costs around 5 dollars, and this gun fires 6 cards per second... IT COSTS $6.93 TO FIRE THIS WEAPON... FOR 12 SECONDS Edit: Thanks for the gold kind stranger
When you wanted to learn card throwing. Bought a whole desk of cards and began practising. After a few years you are a master of card throwing. Then you see this video, Wasting another year learning lego mechanisms.
This video reminds me that in my childhood, there were these plastic toy revolvers which shot those soft bright orange rubber pieces, using the tiniest bit of air, collected from pulling back the hammer. Coincidentally, the caliber of the barrel and the cylinder was exactly the same as those round LEGO pieces you used as ammo in the lego cannons which came in the "pirates vs the good guys" and "natives vs the american settlers" sets. You just had to add the round 1x1 piece at the bottom, making a makeshift airgun round. Thus, if one managed to figure out how to seal the barrel and the chamber using only legos, one could build an automatic gravity-fed LEGO airgun, be it operated with LEGO pneumatics, electricity, or a hand-crank.
