    Hola amigos!

    Paraguay is one of the friendliest and safest countries in South America, and it is very cheap, the country that is growing the most economically in South America. I hope you come back soon and visit the Monday Falls, cities like incarnation, there are many communities of Germans and Japanese. There is much more in gastronomy and one of the most beautiful musical genres is guarania, which is a musical genre in Spanish and Guarani but with European instruments, as you will notice, the vast majority of the Paraguayan population is mixed race and white, I wish you the best. I am Paraguayan, from Paraguay

      Friendliest yes, safest? Absolutely fucking not. Is super dangerous in the center mostly at night. Y should go to what we call interior of the country, You gonna find something to do and see. Here un the capitol of our country there's not much things you can do really. The tourist side of country is very wacky and not much exploited

    Something that always happens to tourists who try paraguayan food is that vendors never tell them that chipa and mbeju, for example, are usually accompanied by coffee or cocido, with or without milk... Same with sopa paraguaya, which's better with foods such as an asado or another main dish (just like the mandioca or yuca that Reyka likes so much). That's why when eaten alone, they may seem a little dry or tasteless... Hope you can come back soon and experience more of this country! ;)

      @@shahinkarim57 The people are very friendly, probably the friendliest in South America. It is safe but you always have to be alert for some petty crime like you would find in any sizable city. The capital Asuncion is not very big at all, 500,000 but the total urban area with the surrounding communities adjacent to the capital would increase the population number to maybe 1.5 million. In size Paraguay has 406,752 square kilometers (157,048 square miles), similar in size to Germany or France but the total population of Paraguay (the whole country) barely reaches 7 million people,

    14:57 Sorry, but that information is false, duels are obviously illegal in Paraguay.

    • @RicardoMontania
      @RicardoMontania 2 месяца назад

      Pasa que en el código penal anterior al año 1997 los duelos a muerte eran 'ilegales' pero su castigo era multa.
      Sabemos que si la pena es pagar nomás algo, en realidad no se aplica a los ricos que no tienen problemas con pagar.
      Es que en esa época se consideraba que también existía la legítima defensa de bienes protegidos y entre esos bienes entra tu honor y reputación.
      Entonces tenías derecho a la legítima defensa de tu honor y eso se resuelve con duelo.
      La ley castigaba con multa al que emite el reto, al que acepta y a los padrinos de cada duelista.
      También baja el monto de la multa si es que el reto es 'justificado' en el sentido que realmente hubo insulto.
      Baja más la multa si el insulto fue contra la mujer, la madre o hermana del duelista que desafía.
      Y finalmente, en caso que resulte en la muerte de unos de los duelistas, permite a los tribunales bajar la pena a menos de lo establecido en la ley o en su caso, obviar la pena enteramente. O sea no castigar.
      Ya que habla que está 'justificado' si el propio muerto causo su muerte por haber insultado al duelista y por haber participado del duelo mismo. También se considera que el duelista está motivado por 'intenso y profundo dolor' entonces no actúa con dolo o maldad.
      Fascinante realmente

      @jackelcazatendencias171 3 месяца назад +1

      I am Paraguayan, that is a classic thing to say about the country, it comes from the fact that our constitution experienced a lot of changes with amendments, the duel part remains without changes since the last time they change the constitution, but just as an unnecesary amendment because is something ambiguous, but it is a fact, don't worry

    • @jackelcazatendencias171
      @jackelcazatendencias171 3 месяца назад

      The punishment, so to speak, is just a fine. This comes from the fact that, defending your honor, it was considered as self defense still

    I'm from Brazil and been following you guys ever since you've been here and I just want to say that, while Paraguay isn't the most exciting place to visit in South America, its definitely the most interesting country to live. I'm just waiting for my father's cancer treatment to end and I'll definitely be packing and moving there with the little family business, or start a new one entirely.
    The safety, the fair taxes, the fair prices for food, land, imports, the friendly people... everything makes Paraguay a great place for those of us who are tired of working to sustain a very big and corrupt government. And people say there aren't much there, which also means lots of oportunities. They're enthusiastic with inovation, jobs and wealth creation immigrants bring, and hopefully I'll be one of these soon, giving my two cents to help develop a country that appreciates its hardworking people, unlike Brazil.

    Paraguay is one of the most interesting countries in South America, if not the world. First of all, it is bicultural--everybody speaks both Spanish and Guarani. Second, it has a fascinating history. One need to read up on it to fully appreciate what one sees. Third, it has a marvelous arts scene. When I visited a gallery I couldn't buy just one painting. I bought two and I wish I could have bought more. Someone from US Embassy told me that whenever people from the US visit Paraguay they always end up gobsmacked by the high quality of Paraguayan art. And the food is very good.

Maybe the next time i can cook for us good asado and paraguayan tipical food (sopa paraguaya, chipa guasu, soyo, tortilla paraguaya, mbeju, chicharõ huitî , cocido quemado, sopa so’o, pastel mandi’o, pajagua mascada, etc. Thank you for visite us. Pastel mandi'o and pajagua are made with 'mandioca,' which most people call Yuca, not with flour. Chipa and mbeju are made from corn flour and starch. We usually accompany chipa and mbeju with coffee or cocido (a traditional Paraguayan drink). We usually eat soup with a meal for lunch or dinner. I loved your video. The reason why there is no obligatory passport control at any of the three frontier post/ cities that make up this border zone, if you take the local bus service, which does a continuous circuit of the three, is that locals cross the borders in every direction without let or hindrance as Ciudad del Este (Paraguay's second biggest city) lives from duty free shopping, smuggling and shoppers entering from Brazil, and to a lesser extent, from Argentina. Smuggling is widespread and the border is uncontrollable and it is not in Paraguay's commercial interest to do so. It is tolerated by all three countries. Lots of illegal money gets laundered here too. The real frontier controls are 15 miles within Brazil, and likewise Argentina, where police and dogs will enter buses and check documents, shady looking foreigners will receive attention even if they look gormless and innocent. Paraguay doesn't really check anything as there is no reason to, they make money from all the shenanigans..
    Dogs once detected drugs on an Argentine bus I was travelling on the route Cordoba> Posadas>Puerto Iguazu> Iguacu Brazil>Onwards to Sao Paulo. The bus was impounded, our bags unloaded and sniffed and the bus company was found to be doing the smuggling; maconha packed into the drivers cockpit at Posadas. We all hung around and waited for a clean bus from Argentina to take us onwards to Sao Paulo. great fun not! You have been warned...

    Paraguay has many beautiful places to visit outside Asunción, natural landmarks, not man-made. But the one thing that most tourists mention liked better from our country is our hospitality. Maybe it's because we don't get the amount of tourists other countries in the region do, so we are super nice to the ones who come.
    Anyway, if you have the chance of coming back, you should visit cities like Aregua, Atyra or San Bernardino.
