    Totally useful for me !
This week I was riding around Sano ( Tochigi) and suddenly I overtake some folks riding in the cycling route and as soon they saw me passing they great me with the usual" ohh おはようございます" I felt rude not replying so I had to forget about my target time and stopped for a while to cross some little chitchat with them 😂.

If you want to get past or overtake someone where there’s only limited room, saying “o-saki-ni” (I’ll go before “honored” you) as you approach seems to be a polite expression often used. Sometimes the other person will say “hai, dozo” (yes, please do) BTW, when you leave work before a colleague, you can say “o-saki-ni shitsurei shimasu” (literally I’m rude for going before you!)

Nice video! Could you make a video on Japanese word for more competitive cycling? For example open a gap, close a gap, attack, to be in the front of the group and so on? It is quite hard to find such vocabulary and we don't always have time to ask the bicycle club members to explain everything. :)

If I would come to Japan the bike riding would confuse me totally. Not only from left or right lane but where you can cylce. I guess for you coming to Austria that would be a change too.
If we do group rides on road bikes we do only hand signs. And all members in each ride are asked if they know it.
Here in Austria there is a distinction between Road bikes (what we call race bikes ) who are allowed to be used on much more streets than normal bike and you don´t need to use the bicycle lanes. There are certain restriction for frames and wheels . You are also exempt during day time for the compulary lights, reflection pads, bells etc Which I still have due to safety.

The big turn is something I was thinking to ask you about, but never got around it. I guess I was doing it the correct way, though, I just thought I am a scary cat for not just going in the correct lane for the turn, but it is true that this goes again "staying to the left" rule. That said maybe at least when you are waiting for the lights anyway, maybe it wouldn't be as much of a problem, but it does feel awkward so I never did it.

I also became a road bike from April of last year
    I came to ride
    She hasn't seen her yet
She always watches her youtube videos
    I am having fun
Although the traffic rules in Japan are different from those overseas,
According to the rule that bicycles do not run on the road
If you look at it from the car based on it, it will be treated as an obstacle
    Is the current situation
Nana is a very good person and a person who works very hard
It ’s also good to run with people from overseas.

    I think it's better

You may find it exciting to control where your wife is at all timed; watching everything she does, who she looks at, who looks at her.....however is it not a cycling video? A video for the sights of Japan? I am sorry to burst your bubble. Your way of showing the sights is to show your wife's backside.
Go first dude! It's a video for sights seeing. In the future you may catch on. All your videos showcase the backend of your wife. Once and a while is fine. Not every video!

When you ride with other people, if it's for speed, the weaker ones need to go behind to be protected from the wind, but if it's just to ride casually, it's easier to put the weaker ones in front to let them set the pace be sure to not drop them.
On a ride with my wife and a couple of friends, I was casually discussing while in front with the other guy (we were 2 X 2, 2 in front, 2 behind). I was starting to think "we should probably slow down, the wind is now against us" when my friend's wife just asked us to slow. As we slowed down, I was asking my wife is she was ok... No answers... I looked back, my wife was nowhere to be seen! We made a U-turn to look for her, we dropper her few km ago!
From then, I always let the weaker ones in front when we are on casual rides. :)
