Andrea, I just love your very female assessment of the interviewed. Please, women, continue being what you are. And thanks to the women appreciating and respecting the logic, long term, principle based perspective of men.
Christina Hoff Sommers gives me hope for sanity. I think there are a lot of us women who support what she calls "equity feminism" (aka, common sense and Enlightenment principles of individual liberty) and are baffled and infuriated by the current wave of hate-filled, authoritarian gender feminism. Brava, Christina!
“Equity Feminism”? Oh come on! :-) At least she agrees that standard feminism has nothing to do with equality, which is true... At the very least, Feminism only supports the Marxist version of equality - equality of outcome, which has proven not to work. However, if she believes in justice and equality of opportunity then why does she still identify as a feminist at all? Why can’t she simply identify as an equalitarian? Feminism as a cult and ideology, including its theory about the “patriarchy” (the very core tenet of Marxism is to destroy fatherhood (patriarchy) and replace the family structure in favour of the state) is based on Marxist social theory. And everyone knows that Marxism is a failed experiment that has resulted in the deaths of over a hundred million people. www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/240037/marxist-feminisms-ruined-lives-mallory-millett
@@curzone I'm guessing you're a lot younger than me. There really was a point to feminism many decades ago, but that time is past, in the US. It's very relevant in the Middle East and Africa.
@John Mitchem Equity feminism, to me, simply means you can't discriminate solely on the basis of gender (e.g , say an equally qualified person can't apply for a job because of their sex.). I think women should be drafted if men are (though I think very few can perform combat roles), I don't think women deserve special programs or funding, I don't think alimony should exist, and I think it's ridiculous when women get reduced sentences because they get a "pussy pass." Christina Hoff Sommers is the crush on a teacher I wish I had at school. She just GLOWS as a woman and a human being. I can still crush on her now that I'm in my early 40's. A smart and brave free thinker who can talk the talk, and be very amiable while doing so. Such a class act. I'm honestly a little in love... don't tell my wife.

LOL (I just cannot afford it, but if I could, this one would have DONE it!!! I've already maxed out my budget on various shows; i.e., Rush, crtv, etc.)AGAIN, GREAT interview!!.
Christina Hoff Sommers is only one of a very few rouge scholars, because courage is extremely rare. There are lots of kind, compassionate people in the world, but very few courageous people. It takes courage to do what Christina is doing. At least there are plenty of ears to hear, even if there are only a few voices to be heard. Thank you, Christina.
I would love that, but I don't think Norm really wants to be playing in the political realm. And I don't get the impression more heat would be healthy for him.
In my view, the classic feminists fought for me to have a choice, even if my choice is to stay home, and still be seen as equal. It is good to know that I am not alone in this thought. Thank you.
This show is Sunday routine for me. I am really grateful it’s here to look forward to. Suggested guests: Ben Sasse, John Stossel, Trey Goudy, Kimberley Strassel.
I came across Christina Hoff Sommers way before I found Ben Shapiro so this is the first Sunday Special I've watched (didn't know there were ads). She had a great attitude but I was disappointed that she wasn't as fluid as she was on her own channel. I do like the term she brought up about equity feminism as I didn't know what the hell to call the feminism that most people actually believe and practice.
Christina Hoff Sommers and Camille Paglia are two of the sexiest women alive today or possibly ever. I'm very lucky to have found a partner who is on their level.
Bruno Bronosky yep she says man should support females, or the government should. Because it is their right to be a stay at home mom and leech off of others to support them.
Bruno Bronosky I will post it later. She does say word for word being a stay at home mom is a woman's right if they so desire. I want to say it was in the first half.
@random...Erick - I've never heard anyone articulate that it's a woman's right to be a stay at home mom....I can't say I disagree. That's an interesting proposition to unpack.
cla99009 she does say that Equity Feminists tend to denigrate women who choose traditional gender roles and it's just as much their right to make that choice as it is any woman's right to make any other lifestyle choice. "Equity" Feminists are not "equally" supportive of all women's choices. I think that's a far stretch from saying women are entitled to some form of financial support.
She’s so soft spoken and kind the way she delivers her well rounded research. Really shows you leftists that attack her have NO CLUE what her message even is.
Lol you can tell she was a leftist before. In reference to the communist manifesto, "it seemed so kind"! Yeah, communism is known for kindness:) Great interview.
Leave the Comment Section For sure. I’m reading about the Red Terror of the Russian Revolution and how killing people wasn’t enough, they took pleasure in torturing people to death. What is wrong with our species?
Have you read the manifesto? It does seem kind. You do realise there's a difference between the text of that little leaflet and the policies of the Soviet Union, do you not?
I really enjoy Ben's interview skills here--he asks a good question and lets Christina Hoff Sommers answer fully, never interrupting her. It's a great dialogue with one of the more (most?) sane feminists today. Ms. Sommers is spot on about boys faltering and the education system letting them down, even punishing them for acting like boys (I'm paraphrasing, not quoting her directly). Great interview, A+++.
Christina Hoff Sommers speaking at event... Audience SJW: "Stop treating us like children!" CHS: "*chuckles* Uh, stop acting like a child, and I will."
I moved to a conservative pov in 87 to 88 too. Moved from L.A. to Houston, had a son and family. My liberal ideas were put to the test and failed. IMO women, equal but different. Not that complicated! Same with race for the most part.
Dean Tait agree with the women part, but not with the race part. Any and all differences between races besides race itself are due to ancestral and cultural differences.
31:59 Part of the assertion concerning “rape culture” pertains precisely to the notion addressed by Ben-differential consideration of sex/gender regarding rape/sexual assault. The notion of men as aggressors and women as victims/survivors is dismissive of objective data regarding males as victims. Rape is not a male-centric crime. Women can and do rape, as well. Consider the number of stories regarding female educators who perpetrate against middle and high school male students. There are plenty people who don’t consider this as sexual assault, including the media in which coverage of these stories is worded differently than that of male educators perpetrating against female students. Women are capable of molesting children just as men are capable of doing. How about the Catholic Church? Who does the data reveal is victimized more by predatory priests? Males. How about consideration of little boys (before the age of majority) who experience sexual assault from family members? I am not implying that women aggress more. The data doesn’t support such a notion. I am, however, stating that females do rape/sexually assault, as well as maintaining male-on-male perpetration exists. What about incarceration settings? People actually joke about and hope for males to be raped in prison as part of their punishment. How about military sexual trauma (MST)? The Invisible War documentary was an entire movie devoted to females as victims/survivors of MST while only a quick blurb within the film stated that due to the sheer number of men versus women in the U.S. military, men experience MST more than women. The examples regarding the disparity of treatment concerning this matter are vast. This is a relevant issue related to the theory of rape culture. If it is true that our society treats this matter differently depending on one’s sex/gender, this specific element of “rape culture” remains valid.
You absolutely nailed it. I was hoping I wasn't the only one who noticed these things. "People actually joke about and hope for males to be raped in prison as part of their punishment." Man, even the most radical feminists are guilty of this, especially of hoping that males get raped as punishment in prison. Also, I forgot about the documentary until you mentioned it, but I remember watching it and thinking the same thing. It reminds me of this quote by Warren Farrell: “Men's greatest weakness is their facade of strength, and women's greatest strength is their facade of weakness.” Basically, since men are falsely perceived to be so strong as to be immune to trauma, their trauma is ignored.
I LOVE Christina Sommers, I love how she is so well spoken and professional. Her mannerisms are so mature and educated. So many things that she is able to explain so elegenlty and clear, loved hearing her during this whole video.

@@msnewsenior As far as I can remember John never accused the Umpire of being a liar and thief. If you want to talk about specific rules and regulations that need adjustment that's another conversation entirety. Richard David. Sanchez III Ayyyy:) Good to see ya 👋
@@genevieverachele6511 why of course it is always a pleasure to be within your presence.
Good Morning Truth Seekers!!
When I saw that Christina Hoff Sommers was this week's guest, I literally gasped. I haven't watched the discussion yet, but I'm sure it will be great!
bandgeekforlife yep she says man should support females, or the government should. Because it is their right to be a stay at home mom and leech off of others to support them.
This is who Ben, Steven, Joe, and Milo call "Mom".
I'm 60 yrs old never been suppressed by any man.in fact I always received encouragement from men, woman on the other hand were the ones who would try and hold me back.
Agreed!
Sommers and Paglia are my heroes going waaaay back even unto the 60's. I absolutely admire and adore them both. Please have Paglia on now...please, PLEASE.
How have I never heard of her! Love her!!
My family will get life insurance for me after I die, because they cannot deny me based on pre-existing conditions.
It's so wonderful to know there are actually women who still think like me. Thank you so much!
Ben you’ve got to stop telling people that their going to die...
It’s getting more threatening
"it's a complicated mix of benefits and burdens for both men and women" .. Praise, Glory and Peace upon you Christina
A conspiracy theory for smart people? More like a conspiracy theory for educated people.
Ronald Reagan - "Its not that they don't know anything. Its that they know so much that just isn't so"
Christina Hoff Sommers is the crush on a teacher I wish I had at school. She just GLOWS as a woman and a human being. I can still crush on her now that I'm in my early 40's. A smart and brave free thinker who can talk the talk, and be very amiable while doing so. Such a class act. I'm honestly a little in love... don't tell my wife.
I like how Ben fights socialism with capitalist ads. Support his sponsors. He's a businessman. Good for him!
Ben!! This has been, by FAR, the BEST interview AND show you have put together since its inception!!!! GREAT show!!! You almost got me to sign up!! LOL (I just cannot afford it, but if I could, this one would have DONE it!!! I've already maxed out my budget on various shows; i.e., Rush, crtv, etc.)AGAIN, GREAT interview!!.
Now invite Alex Jones, Paul J. Watson, Carl Benjamin and Milo. You should probably also invite Tim Pool.
Don't think he'll invite Milo or Jones. That would not go well. They have bad blood.
GET NORM MACDONALD
I would love that, but I don't think Norm really wants to be playing in the political realm. And I don't get the impression more heat would be healthy for him.
You know who else he needs to have on the show? You guessed it, Frank Stallone.
In my view, the classic feminists fought for me to have a choice, even if my choice is to stay home, and still be seen as equal. It is good to know that I am not alone in this thought. Thank you.
Larry elder or Thomas Sowell next!
No no no no no no no no. You're completely wrong. He should have David Icke on next.
Sowell does not do interviews anymore
This show is Sunday routine for me. I am really grateful it’s here to look forward to. Suggested guests: Ben Sasse, John Stossel, Trey Goudy, Kimberley Strassel.
W. S. Gibson - great list.
Serena Williams' melt down was very disgraceful. Take losing as gracefully as winning.
Biopsychosocial
Apparently the ref was only sexist to her. I’m surprised she didn’t use her race card.
Women are sore losers
She and Barack Hussein Obama don't believe the rules apply to them. Cry Babies, the both of them!
Biopsychosocial Nah.
She is loosing her career rather quickly with her temper tantrum
@A random Godd named Erick, that's not what I heard. Got a time stamp?
Yeah, communism is known for kindness:)
Great interview.
@Paul Franklin Leftists judge you since birth. For real you say something at 3 years old and it stick with you forever.
Leave the Comment Section For sure. I’m reading about the Red Terror of the Russian Revolution and how killing people wasn’t enough, they took pleasure in torturing people to death. What is wrong with our species?
I don't think you understand what the word "seemed" means.
Have you read the manifesto? It does seem kind. You do realise there's a difference between the text of that little leaflet and the policies of the Soviet Union, do you not?
Everything about Christina exudes power, poise, and confidence. That's your real feminist right there.
When looking at crime stats, you have to look at numbers of crime per 100,000 pop., not just the NUMBERS per year. Lots of insight from that.
Audience SJW: "Stop treating us like children!"
CHS: "*chuckles* Uh, stop acting like a child, and I will."
I very much appreciate the fact that she can speak and the only time we hear Ben is for his commercial breaks...
Great interview. Love Dr. summers.
This one was pretty interesting. I can't wait for the next one either because I hear it is going to be with Steven Crowder.
The Sunday Special is a must see. The guests are fantastic.
Please have on Cassie Jaye! Great interview with Christina!
I am so impressed with this lady, very intelligent and very caring. Thanks for bringing her on Ben. Keep up the good two Christina and Ben!
Okay, once I get over how young Shapiro looks, I do like this line up of guests. Thank you. Mr Shapiro & his staff
Christina Hoff Sommers for president
You for president!
I LOVE Christina Sommers, I love how she is so well spoken and professional. Her mannerisms are so mature and educated. So many things that she is able to explain so elegenlty and clear, loved hearing her during this whole video.
Sunday morning crew checking in
This has to be the best Sunday Special. Keep up the good work Ben!
I was removed from preschool because I bit a girl. Now I'm in a relationship with a woman who gets turned on by it. Funny how things come around, huh?
I'd be interested to know how a kid gets removed entirely just for biting a girl, are you sure you weren't just a total horror causing havoc every day?
Sean - So where do you bite her? Come on. Open up. It will make you feel better.
Moist
No.
You're not suppose to bite other children.
Just saying.
Is it the same girl?
A fantastic example of a reasonable and generous and sound Liberal. A great Feminist who needs our support, from the Left to the Right.
am I the only guy who likes both Ben and Milo? Incidently I like Dr. Pepper, Coke and Pepsi equally.
Yes.
There are people who like both Ben and Alex Jones so it's not too farfetched.
Benno Kraehe oh I don’t watch Alex Jones but I do watch PJW
Pepsi? FUCK YOU!
Richard David. Sanchez III ok...
Omg! Ben needs to have the ads prerecorded! How awkward for the guest 😂😂
Dude double dog dare you..... ELON MUSK...
Elon Tesla
Nikola Musk
Elon ford Musk....
@xDjinn x no.
No.
Just no.
These Sunday morning interviews made its way into my routine...TY Christina ❣️
I just love her, and I hate everything
Miss Sommers is such a great woman, I doubt there's someone whom I admire more than her right now
The entire feminist movement is vindictive, bitter, resentful, envious and vengeful.
Great episode! Very informative. I always love all of the different topics and viewpoints from the different guests! Love the show!
Will a lot of women watch this?
They probably should watch this and the other Sunday episodes. What could it possibly hurt from hearing differing opinions.
If you know any, show them this!
I am.
@@the0ghost069 im with you.
Only the intelligent ones. Without the purple hair and nose ring...
My Favorite Feminist ^.^ Such a wise and intelligent woman with a soothing voice. Very persuasive, obviously knows what she's talking about. So happy she was on ^.^
invite Gavin Mcinnes!!!
I love Ben's commercials. They always crack me up. I never figured out why
Thug Life meets Based Mom! "YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID!!!"
Lol
Well, Christina's just to sensible and honest. Great interview, Ben.
I REALLY want a Sunday special with Steven crowder
Thank you, thank you on speaking for most of is man who still holds on to the equality of both man and and woman.
Thank you Christina and Ben for all that you do.
@thedailywire Hi Ben, great stuff as always! I would love to hear your thoughts on the very disgraceful Serena Williams meltdown! Cheers mate
Yaron Lischinsky Why don't you ask John McEnroe....
@@msnewsenior why?
Because he did the exact same thing for years and people cheered him on for it. Serena has one break and she's branded demon spawn. Are you also going to mention how she kindly asked the crowd not to boo her opponent after she lost the match and congratulated her on the win with a hug?
@@msnewsenior As far as I can remember John never accused the Umpire of being a liar and thief. If you want to talk about specific rules and regulations that need adjustment that's another conversation entirety. Serena is a player that is well respected and should know better then making 3 mistakes she knew would have consequences only to blame external forces and play the sexist card afterwards. And as for the crowd that she so "graciously" calmed, she was the one that riled them up in the first place...
Yaron Lischinsky you're joking right? He verbally insulted then and cursed at them simply because he didn't like their decisions. Not only that but his tirades went on for several minutes which took time away from the game. McEnroe has volumes worth of this kind of behavior on record compared to an isolated incident from Williams. Let's be fair here
Really interesting programme. Just discovered the Sunday programme.
What about the unusually high suicide rate amongst white men?
Any other race or gender we would hear about this epidemic all day everyday.
It's tough being a part of the demographic that holds up the world. Sometimes it crushes you.
@@cla99009 No Doubt. And then to get shit on for it too
Hey I always enjoy hearing the ideas from smart logical people....Great Job...#Shapiro2020
Lawrence Garcia yep she says man should support females, or the government should. Because it is their right to be a stay at home mom and leech off of others to support them.
