Sam, Killian is the perfect camp dog, please take him every time! Trust me the times you don’t will haunt you when he’s gone. Wow I didn’t mean to sound nasty or creepy but I have a hard time with out my dog. This is one of your best
I'm getting ready to put my 14 yr old german shepard ..she's such a good girl but she can't get around like she used to..my wife says it's time ..but that's my girl..she is my shadow..I might be being selfish but I don't think it's time
My dog “Strider” died in February from heart failure and I miss him. Life is so hard worrying about family, I’m choosing to never own another pet.
@@harbinger6616 I didn’t mean to stir people up. But I’m with you! My Zeke was so amazing I said I wouldn’t live without a dog but didn’t know the right time to get one. A year later I got what I thought would be a good boy but was wrong! So now I would say to you don’t say never but don’t try to replace your bud. Just wait until a dog finds you
@@carminemalanga4353 I had to put Zeke down at 16 years because of a broken back it was terrible but to see the pain go away was worth it. Fuck I’m 50 years old and crying by myself typing
The vet was cool and did it in my truck instead of cold office
So he was comfortable

You have to prime the pump to get water. Start pumping the handle and pour some water in the top. Leave a bucket filled there by the pump so you always have more water
Yup.. as kids on Cape Cod at our summer cottage, we always had to leave maybe a gallon of water so we could prime the hand pump for the next time. God help the person who forgot to save the Priming Water. 😅 💧

I have the same Camp Stove Setup as you are using here.
I have been using a Tin square pan to line it with. And it works great. Both for cleaning purposes and for cooking. With the coals always being able to just be dumped out in a Jiffy with no mess, no fuss.

Another Great adventure Sam, I'd love to see the inside of that off-grid cabin if you go back. :) BTW, I strongly suggest you stop wearing black while you're camping in the warmer months, not just to be cooler but also so because ticks can be easily seen on lighter color clothes. Just a tip that was given to me years ago, thought I'd pass along.

You need a set of vent shades for your windows. Especially when its raining. You can keep your window down a little to vent the air though so it doesn’t get so muggy and stuffy inside the car.

It works the way you thought it was upside down the triangles are there so you can use a tool to lift it off to add more coles

Ahh... the old toilet paper bandage trick... I approve. I was camping with my brother at Brevort Lake, Michigan... and that fool hit his big toe with a hatchet while wearing Chaco's.... I said, "we gotta get that bandaged fast before your wife sees that you have been drinking beer and sandal hatcheting again". He was like, "ok, since you are a Registered Nurse, I am sure that this is no big deal to you." Well, true... but I was there for the hammocks, hot-dogs, and beer... not wound care, so I had no first aid kit. We quickly sacrificed the lower 2 inches of a clean tee-shirt, wrapped that toe up with some electrical tape, and it was back to sandal hatcheting. :)

If my pork chop / steak /chicken/ fish/ almost whatever fell, I would throw if back on the fire for just a bit. heat does wonders making stuff safe. or reasonably safe. Might not help the taste 🙂 in all instances. But hey, as long as the beer doesn't spill everything is still good, right? This was a fun video. Thanks for your hard work!

Camp out in the cabin that would be pretty cool. A lot of the RUclipsrs you mentioned I do watch theirs with an addition of Kyle's cabin and corporals corner another couple favorites of mine. Thanks for sharing your adventure. I never seen so many ferns but they're beautiful. The pork chops will be fine just wipe them off a little and I guess we eat enough dirt in our lifetime that were unaware of LOL. Happy camping and have a great day
