If anything, they should've started showing the NBA on NBC back in the mid 80s. Think of what they would've shown if it wasn't on CBS----the last Bird vs Magic NBA finals, the dawn of the Bad Boys, Bird's steal, the hayday of the Bulls-Pistons rivalry, the shot and the beginnings of several great careers (Stockton, Miller, Ewing, Malone etc).
Bulls won 6, Lakers won 3, My Rockets won 2, and the Spurs Was able to get one in 99! But, there were so many teams that were VERY close to picking some of these. Suns, Knicks, Pacers, Jazz, Sonics, Blazers. A lot of the bulls NBA finals series were down to just one Clutch Play by the Bulls! 🔥 Paxson in 93, Jordan in 98 Etc! For the rockets, Just imagine if Olajuwon DIDN’T block John Starks 3 in Game 6, the Knicks might have taken one of the rockets titles away, SO GLAD that block happened! 🔥 Olajuwon my favorite Center to play!
@@n1c704 I believe the Bulls would have lost in either 94 or 95 to the Rockets. The Rockets didn't have anyone that could have stopped Jordan, but the Bulls didn't have anyone who could stop Hakeem. Jordan did come back in '95 after all-star break, and they lost to the Magic...the same team the Rockets swept in the finals that same year. Now, we all know that wasn't the same Jordan, but the Rockets were a very well-rounded team just like the Bulls. It would come down to who would have the bigger impact: Hakeem or Jordan, and I think the Rockets win one of those series. Hakeem was the best center during that small stretch, which included Robinson, Shaquille, Ewing, etc. and Jordan's Bulls never had a dominant center. Jordan puts Hakeem on his all-time starting 5 for what it's worth. Would have been one of the best series of all time
