I'm not sure where the limit is, but I'd like a sibling for mylo, and I'm worried that I'll then want another to balance them out and then it will be a never ending desire for an extension of my canine family members. Then I remind myself I actually still only have the one 😆. Also canines are a different sort of prescription, I call mylo my personal trainer as he won't let me miss out on walking.
I forgot to say it's got magical realism/ light fantasy as only the people who truly need this place can find it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I wish there were a dog version of catnip for Mylo. He's currently peering into the dark garden longing for a cat to walk the fence so he can bark at it. I best take him out for his final walk of the day 😂
Hi Katja, great review! I actually got lost in Kyoto when I lived in Japan.😊 I was visiting a doctors office and I got caught in a downpour of rain. The people were very kind and directed me to the right address. The funny part was they took my clothes, gave me a robe and dried the sopping dress in the doctors office while offering me a tea, and yes, there was a cat. Maybe I stumbled into your book. I am reading a translated Japanese fiction. Book named,Butter. I’m not sure if it’s contemporary fiction or cozy it’s the best seller in Japan and maybe here. Maybe you can tell me if you know For some reason, I can handle cozy books from other countries more than from the US. I’m more of a dog person, but I love cats too. My daughter is taking care of five cats that she fixed, and they sort of live in our yard, at least for meals. A few of them are friendly but the good news is I will be getting a dog soon. I will be coparenting with a neighbor. What a wonderful idea! It’s sort of fell to my lap. Excuse the pun. His name is Hendrix and I haven’t met him yet. Sorry for the long comment. Aloha friend
Butter is on my TBR, and I think it's about a serial killer 🙈 That's a fun Kyoto memory you have. Probably wasn't a 100% fun at the time getting soaked by that deluge, but that sounds like a lovely place
@@PageTurnersWithKatja I can't wait to meet him. I hope to have him make an appearance on my channel as soon as he is comfortable living here. Aloha friend
Cat allergies don’t seem to be a real thing in Kyoto 😂 I’ve only ever not had a reaction to one ☝🏻 cat . Many times I’ve ended up in hospital because of it. …
There's a side character with allergies, so that makes at least one person in Kyoto, although they're fictional 😉 I used to be fine but now get sniffles, nothing as bad as a hospital visit, though 🫂. That's awful 😖
However I can’t wait to read this one!
I instantly consider reading any book with a cat on the cover. There's just something cozy and feel-good about adding a cat into the mix!
I am just waiting on my library!!! 🤗
I might be overprescribed. 😬
I’ll keep an eye out for this.

I'm glad you enjoyed it as I literally added this to my wish list the other day - it seems like Jack catnip! 😊😊🐈⬛🐈⬛

My mother especially subscribes to the idea that cats are there to "heal" you. I miss my cats at home 💚🧡💚🧡
I can imagine you'd miss them while in KL 😔.
I'm adding this to my tbr. I'm pretty certain this has cats in it, right?! ❤ 😺
Definitely 😆🐈🐈🐈🐈⬛️🐈⬛️
