It works pretty great. I wish I could add more angle to allow the pellets to “run” down the frame but gentle sweeping gets it into the gutter. Then I sweep it into the holes and it drops in the bucket. So far it has been a huge success and time saver. Thanks for watching!!
How often do your rabbits leave their cages? I’m learning to care for backyard rabbits and comparing creating a rabbit run vs this kind of set up you have.
While I cannot speak on a run, we like the setup for the control. We utilize the scat for fertilizer and this setup makes it super simple to gather. If you choose a run, be sure to put wire on the bottom or they will surely dig out. We handle ours quite often and they are gentle. Good luck and thanks for watching.
I agree, especially for nitrogen. However, I like to bag the “dry” poop in old feed sacks so I prefer it not wet. You could modify slide with a solid top to catch everything for immediate use. Thanks for the comment and for watching.
🤣🤣 Hilarious and utterly charming use of drawing board, music……and the Patient Persistence of Practical Penelope and the Poop Problem! Thank you!
Love it! I'm trying to figure out how to catch rabbit poo and this video looks the most promising. Thanks!

Great!
Thank you. I have shared many bags of “fertilizer” with gardners this year.
I’m surprised that you followed through with the joke designs. Happily surprised
Haha- I have so much fun coming up with those! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching.- Ron
sign me up for a couple buckets! lol
Haha! First in line!
Approx 300 poop pellets per day per rabbit.

The urine is more valuable than the poop...........
