What timing! I saw that thread just last night, immediate repaved my quadra, and installed the ham apps via their new stuff. Seemed to work successfully right away (best i can tell - flrig, wsjtx, gridtracker, havent gotten to the rest yet). What I haven't been able to do yet is run wsjtx yet remotely over NoMachine, comes up but the audio devices aren't accessible but that's likely some setting or permission or some linux doodad I need to run (and figure out what it is first).
I noticed the HamClock settings you can now just input your Grid location and it sets your Lat & Lon automatically. I can't seem to get the cluster spider settings to connect though. How about a video on that?
I just brought the Quadra Bundle and booted it up last night and wow! Now if I could just figure out the best way to minimize the full screen Ham Clock?... I don't have any experience with Linux OS, but Alt-F4 works there too.
Alt+Space or some combination like that should bring up the upper left window control menu and then you can pick an option to un-full-screen it. Let me know, I'm not setup with it currently to verify.
Before retirement, I developed Linux based networking equipment and kill -9 was my friend. I am behind enough on ham projects now, but this is a likely future direction.
I noticed on Inovato web page that they have been getting report of interference to HAM operations due to the wall wart they supply. Did you notice any of that?
I'm always thinking portable with my X6100 and the Quadra. I couldn't get the Quadra to boot and connect to a BT keyboard. I resolved it by purchasing a Kinivo BTD-400 Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy USB adapter from Amazon. It now connects to my Ultra-Slim Bluetooth Keyboard Portable Mini Wireless Keyboard Rechargeable for Apple iPad iPhone Samsung Tablet Phone Smartphone iOS Android Windows from Amazon.
No worries, Inovato's got you covered. On the top of the inovato page there are links to get the raw box from amazon and then follow my install video for how to get the quadra image on the T95 box: amzn.to/3ZabjY3
I got mine lasts week and it had these installed. was presently surprised
.
Sweet!

They have Gridtracker and a few more added now.
Excellent!

Very nice! I have done TONS of linux work since 1994. Would be nice to get into it again!
To be clear...I developed hardware and had to kill -9 lots of errant software! 😄

That's great!
Just got mine in....and realized I can't find my pocket keyboard. 🤣
Had to order a new one.
I hate it when that happens!
Wonder how long until they start offering fused power pole cords as an upgrade. They would have found their niche in the ham community.
Exactly!
I bought this thing the day I saw your video. It arrived quickly. Now just to figure out something to do with it.
Somebody needs to take ownership of the pi-star project and port it over! You're nominated! 🤣
Pitty not available in EU.
