Make sure you identify which one of you children will inherent you extensive bag collection so they can continue the shipping bag dynasty. I have the mount and bought it on the black Friday special. It was definitely a good deal. Thanks for the videos! 73
Hi Steve, so glad to find out that I am not the only one who carefully preserves all those little plastic bags, you never know could come in handy some day... Very nice presentation. I recently bought a DB25-D that came with the shorter version of the cup holder, very sturdy but not a standard tripod mount. Happy Holidays!
I used this cup holder to support my Xiegu G106 and with the left over parts created a mount for my X6200 to sit on a photo tripod. The cup holder adapter is very useful!
Stuff like this kinda makes me wish I drove places regularly If I'm in the car more than 5m then chances are I have family in the car and so radio activity is a no-no as I should be talking with the people with me, not with people hundreds of miles away
I'm in a similar situation... Except when I go to a hamfest and then I'm around lots of friends in different cars all carrying radios. These temporary mounts are a big help for those times.

Thanks Jeff, these are going to Becca.
I LOVE LOVE the LIDO cup holder mount for the 891 . I only need it in the truck when I do my roves so moving it in and out is awesome!
I like LIDO stuff too
Must be a great bag collection!
I would have kept all of those bags from mouser, but they put those stickers on them!
Perfect!
Thanks!

That's pretty cool. I have a few ideas for mine!
Great video, Steve! That romantic music during the 'small bag'
interludes changes my entire viewpoint on packing material...!

I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
How convenient you can have your coffee AND ham radio 😂
This guy gets it!
I got a free one with my ga 5wb..I use it in my work van for my UV pro..
Cross-branding! Nice work!
I picked up the cupholder mount. While it seems decent and does the job in practice. It doesn’t work well with the weird cupholders in my Prius.
Time for a new car of course!
@ 14 years and 220k just getting broke in 🤣
@@Tom.K2TAV I still want to get one to play with! Can't stand any of the newer cars.
Mount up!
Roll out!
I use that type of mount for the head of my 7100. Works great. Robert KD4YDC
7100 is one of the best!
I need more cup holders…
Minivan.
Merry Christmas Steve and the Temporary Offline Gang.
