I can almost imagine it. Watching football or something on TV and a commercial with Wes' face comes on screen, "Tireject, that shit really works." it'd be perfect and straight to the point. Somebody get Tireject on the phone.
On my BACKHOE I ran over a PIECE of 5/8 rebar. I put 13 ,rope plugs with glue, not lube and it lasted till the tire was literally bald. That even surprised me.
I've successfully put in 4 before on a tractor tire I used bush hogging. I had to plug a back tire two times on my current mower and had to use Berryman's sealant to get it to hold air. I only run tubeless in my tractor tires and keep plugs with me at all times. Amazing improvement over the old tubes and patch.
@@DLTJR1959 I agree TUBEs are much more work to fix, so as the original tires with TUBEs wore I replaced them with tubeless simply because they can be fixed in the field. I also had a small 12 car tire pump that took 30 minutes to build 60 PSI BUT it worked.
I was that way when I hauled water in the oil patch a plug kit and some ether and I was back on the road. I even plugged the sidewall, the dot guy wasn't amused
The slow burn orange flame after the ether explodes is the Upper Cylinder lubricity that is found in most starting fluid now sold . 15 or 20 years back that lubricity was not added to most Starting Fluids . Starting Fluid WITHOUT a lubricity additive works better for inflating tires , if you can find some .
Little more starting fluid and the Krone might have flipped!!! It sure did rock!! Thanks for your vids Ya'll needed a good laugh with all the stress this summer! Would love shorts updates on the little one and momma, please! I understand if ya don't!!
As a guy that dose farm and Industrial tires for a living that is same kit we use ! The only thing I would change is instead of the lube we ues patch glue (rubber cement) !! Good job Wes !!
Reminds me of my great grandfather’s story of when he had a big farm in yardville Nj before it was built up and he was ploughing rented land and was shot in the ass crack by someone who was growing weed on the field he was ploughing.
Wes - I know you've probably plugged more tires than I have but I have that same kit and you are supposed to work that first tool up and down in the hole to roughen up the edges to permit the plug and adhesive you get a better seal.
Love this vids when you guys work together. Hope you will have some nice winter project in the shop later. Maybe that transmission problem. Thats quality videos. //Sweden
Put rope plug into tool then dip into rubber cement. It bonds the plugs into the tire. Forget the lube, it actually helps the plugs work there way out which is more common then not. Great video.
Charlie Parker I’m new to the tyreject stuff myself, but there’s a few different guys swearing by it on RUclips videos. None of them seem to be sponsored being they complain about the price. And I second your comment on the tire plug kit. I’m in Texas and haven’t seen one that looks that robust.
hmmm, interesting...I've used tire plugs many times, never did the twist deal to "tie it up" in there. That's cool, gonna do that nect time. Never had mine fail not doing it, but sounds like a good plan to me! Thanks.
my work truck has a tire with 8 of those plugs in it from the same kit you used lol so many dam thorn trees on the back trails of the property. these days I dont even cut the tails off just drive on blacktop for about 15 mins and they trim themselves
can you do a tire ject vs slime video? i prefer slime i like the bigger lumps of material in it to plug up holes better, ni only used tireject a few times so eh
Do you think the fire burns the tireject?? Is it going to work properly??, after seeing the burnt tireject on the ground. Have you ever had a tire off after doing this?
I have that same plug kit. Good quality tools in that kit. I still hate to plug instead of patch, but sometimes you got to get back up and running. I prefer to take the plugs out and put a patch or a combo plug/patch when I get back to the shop. For the tire ject, does it mess with the inside of the tire like typical tire sealers do where a patch will not longer glue up?
i sell these plug patches in meany sizes were it is a patch and plug all in one, the long tapered plug on the patch has light aluminum wrapped on the tip up about 1-1/2" to aid in getting the plug though the tire, the are made for both radial and bias tires, best patchs ever made
Jarrid cockey i dono about that but i recall Wes saying in one of his videos on this stuff, that it dont make a big sticky mess of your rim and tire in side like slim do
i have looked around as well as asked for that tire jake here in NW oNT cANADA AND SEEMS KNOW ONE HAS EVER HEARD OF IT, I SURE WOULD LIKE TO FIND IT LOCALLY AS I HAVE SO MANY TIRE THAT KNOW MATER WHAT YOU DO THE DAM BEADS LEAK SLOW ALL THE TIME, AND ITS BEEN A HUGE ASS ACK FOR ME FOR YEARS.. shit sorry for the caps
Here in Ohio we would of had slime in the tires as soon as it was off the trailer. We would jack up the baler take the Vale core out and put about five pumps in the tires each. Once you put that stuff in the tires, in about a year you have to do it again because it dries out.
Hey Wes I had to remount a front steer tire on a 7800. I used the fire trick and didn't use any more ether than what you put into that baler tire and my tire blew up. Don't know why
Never had much luck with the plugs, they'd get thrown back out of the tire, of course these were the cheap wally world plug kits to. Love the fire trick, which is actually a very old trick. If it works... don't knock it. Cheers :)
If you were caught like that say out in the field, lve heard of lads using a short length of hose to take air from the other tyre. Yes they would be down pressure but prob get you home.
There is such a thing called a cheetah design for tires but what's the fun in doing it that way when you do it the way you do it possibly get hurt that was pretty cool though
In the state of Georgia it is against the law to plug a passenger car or truck tire. Tire shops won't do it anymore. Farm stuff no problem..... Like the pyro trick. Got any eyebrows left?
Need to pass a law against recaps. Those things are so dangerous when they blow. They tear up equipment and I’d hate to be passing or behind a semi on a motorcycle when one blows.
it actually illegal is in many places and non DOT compliant, since it exposes the steel belts to the elements and never 100% seals again. they'd love for you to get a new tire when they get a hole.... all the plug kits say temporary use or off-road to cover themselves too ;)
They still do plugs in Ga. Just had one done a little while ago. It's just a very small area they are willing to plug now a days. Most shops would rather sell you a $100 tire that has a $40 markup vs a $10 plug
Well, when they see the stupid shit we do they question everything. Then they have it professionally done wasting time. Somthing that drives us men nuts.. Always waiting on a woman..
I concur on the questioning men doing stupid stuff . . . I mean, how many times can you put a hole through the barn with the loader before you figure out you should drive it with down? or watch your front end?
@@This1LifeWeLive Usually around the time we get tired of fixing it or beef up the spot to prevent it again. The over engineering aspect instead of common sense approach of paying attention..
A wise old tire man told me if it ain't patched it ain't fixed. And I've had pretty much every plug ever put in a tire that takes over 35 pounds of aur leak. That's why he added the tireject, he knows the plug will leak otherwise.
That’s stuff works very well. I use it in all the small annoying little tires that never seem to hold air. After the tireject treatment I haven’t had a flat. Will definitely keep that stuff in stock.
I can almost imagine it. Watching football or something on TV and a commercial with Wes' face comes on screen, "Tireject, that shit really works." it'd be perfect and straight to the point. Somebody get Tireject on the phone.

HoodwinkedbyanAngel Michael Fazio same thing happened to me haha still got the tire too
Given the choice between Fire or a 25L air can filled to 150psi with a 2" quick valve to blow it back on the rim, I'd go for the fire I think.
A tire plug kit was the best $12 I ever spent. When I was hauling scrap metal the one back tire on my truck had 18 plugs in it!
I was that way when I hauled water in the oil patch a plug kit and some ether and I was back on the road. I even plugged the sidewall, the dot guy wasn't amused

I've plugged many tires but never knew I was supposed to spin it to make a knot. Learn something new every day.
Depends on the kit.
As a guy that dose farm and Industrial tires for a living that is same kit we use ! The only thing I would change is instead of the lube we ues patch glue (rubber cement) !! Good job Wes !!
Love your work! 👍👍
I have always used rubber cement when installing plugs, it helps the cut rubber to glue back together around the plug.
Reminds me of my great grandfather’s story of when he had a big farm in yardville Nj before it was built up and he was ploughing rented land and was shot in the ass crack by someone who was growing weed on the field he was ploughing.

lol that was rad!! Never seen a baler do a wheelie

Put rope plug into tool then dip into rubber cement. It bonds the plugs into the tire. Forget the lube, it actually helps the plugs work there way out which is more common then not. Great video.
That isn't just lube it is an activator for the sealant that is impregnated into the rope.
Man y'all had that bailer hopping!!!
That jelly should be an activator to begin chemical curing of the plug, not just a lubricant . One can also drill the hole etc.
What caliber of a Arrow head is that. Yeah... We have hunters in our area to that don't know the difference between a Krone & a " Deere ".
Yea mate
😆
That tyre repair kit is great I haven't seen them here in the UK nor the tyreject.....
That kit isn't the typical parts store kit. It's a Safety Seal heavy equipment set.
Always a nice show. Fire!
When Tim shows up it's all good Wes!
Great video. Rocked the Krone pretty good.
hmmm, interesting...I've used tire plugs many times, never did the twist deal to "tie it up" in there. That's cool, gonna do that nect time. Never had mine fail not doing it, but sounds like a good plan to me! Thanks.
Tim sure loves the fire trick. Or however it was, back when you blew the tire on that tractor last winter :D
The instructions with the tire plug kit specifically says DO NOT turn the plug just pull straight out. Just thought you might want to know.
my work truck has a tire with 8 of those plugs in it from the same kit you used lol so many dam thorn trees on the back trails of the property. these days I dont even cut the tails off just drive on blacktop for about 15 mins and they trim themselves
My kit includes contact cement , works every time for the plugs.
My father had a Tyre plug in the wall of a Tyre for 5 years!
great fix wes thanks for showing us
can you do a tire ject vs slime video? i prefer slime i like the bigger lumps of material in it to plug up holes better, ni only used tireject a few times so eh
Good stuff, that’s how I fix my tires
Its only flat on the bottom, i cut the plug down as you don't need the whole length to repair the hole.
Wes,like how you solve farmers daily dilemmas.
Do you think the fire burns the tireject?? Is it going to work properly??, after seeing the burnt tireject on the ground. Have you ever had a tire off after doing this?
Verry nice video
ELM said he never would have gotten a flat tire!!! That's because it's barely used!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Gary davis no it does mess with the inside of rim like slime does. Slime will just eat the inside of the rim out.
Jarrid cockey i dono about that but i recall Wes saying in one of his videos on this stuff, that it dont make a big sticky mess of your rim and tire in side like slim do

some destroys tires and rims. slime promotes dry rot in tires and it rusts rims out within a couple of years
I love your patriotism hon, hugssss
Never saw a tire sealed like that thanks 4 the info
Hey Wes I had to remount a front steer tire on a 7800. I used the fire trick and didn't use any more ether than what you put into that baler tire and my tire blew up. Don't know why
I like the fire trick...what ever works. Lol
They work great.
If a little is good, too much is just about right- RIGHT TIM?
Great fix thanks for the tips!!!
*Hey Tim,* what kind of watch is that? It looks pretty cool man.
It a repair wel done West Have good day guy's .
Great video Wes thanks for sharing have a great day
who else remembers when he tried to plug a tubed tire on the 5020 ;)
lol!
I know of some people that take a propane torch and melt the tails
Never had much luck with the plugs, they'd get thrown back out of the tire, of course these were the cheap wally world plug kits to. Love the fire trick, which is actually a very old trick. If it works... don't knock it. Cheers :)
I use the rubber cement you put on the patches as the lube. That way when it sets up it also 'glue's' the plug to the tire. Thanks for sharing
the lube with his kit is likely has something in it that vulcanizes the plugs to the tire.
What brand stating fluid is that we can’t get it to work anymore
If you were caught like that say out in the field, lve heard of lads using a short length of hose to take air from the other tyre. Yes they would be down pressure but prob get you home.
Do you buy new tires or re-tread them?
My kit uses rubber cement as the lube
that's how 99% of them work and say to use rubber cement
pjmtts so does my kit!
How about adding a small fire extinguisher to the mower, shit, add one to any and all valuable machines maybe !!!
always repairing tires OLF hope you're good to go now
We named it dogshit here in sweden.
Got to watch out for the rocks in the field.
Will the starting fluid ruin the tireject?
I'm way up in Eastern Ontario. I am so confused that he had a tire shot with an arrow? Wtf I thought this was all behind us all
my fire trick works make a blazing fire in a barrel and throw in a spray can of paintor starting fluid make a nice boom for the 4th july
Wow you sure do have tough luck with tire.
Ghosts of indians past.
Thanks for sharing guys..
you're ready for nascar pit stop!
I wondered what happen to your hair
Warren Post what hair
indians took it..
Warren Post Blame the Indians. Easy trophy.
And here Iv'e been dry fuckin my holes. Damnit!
Anyone know what that tire cost new out of curiosity?
$1100

Hey ya! Hey ya!

William Keehn I agree. Starting fluid is the absolute last choice here. The cheetah tank usually does the trick for us.
what happened to the great tire ject shuff you gonna put it in as a backup ?
You should watch the whole video before commenting.
that is what he said, put it in as a second back up so no ass ackes
Damn thing jumped in the air 😲
Does tireject work on tires with tubes?
You do realize there are waaaay better plugs then those now right?? google "

It’s probably because it was a Krone and not a Deere.

its 2018, they're not indians anymore. They're native americans, they don't have literally any indian blood lmao
farming at its finest in a hurry gotta go lol

Genius, gonna pass this one on to Erik! What were the indians truying to shoot, elephants?!
You should have used a plug patch. Now your teached...
Did he say tireject ? Or fireject?
