Just got this router (BE 98 Pro) and it is insane. Running it in dual WAN load balancing mode. The routers internal speeds are 2300 mbps down and 950 up. Plan on keeping this router a long time. Great video sir!

The router is a beast, running dual WAN and getting those speeds you have an amazing setup. This router will most definitely last for years, hopefully more basic devices will start to move to 6Ghz band.

Does MLO actually reduce ping during gaming?

When doing Iot things, how do they communicate with each other when in separate bands with separate SSID? I feel so lost, I need everything to be able to communicate with each other

When setting up the WiFi bands without MLO feature you can use Smart option which will combine all the WiFi band together under one SSID and the Asus router will choose where to put the IoT device.
If setting up the band separate you can look for the option when you login to the router via Advanced Settings > Network, clicking on the network and toggle on the option 'Use same subnet as main Network' then IoT devices will be able to connect across the networks. (But these defeats the purpose of securly separating the IoT devices from the main network)

@ so you’re saying that neither option works?

Great video, very detailed and informative. Like you, I separate ssids (i have 4 in the BE98) and have been wondering how an MLO band would help/change my set up. In a nutshell , turning ON MLO will disconnect all my devices until I go back and add the current 4 SSID as you outlined and it should be back to normal with extra MLO SSID ? MLO is only of benefit for WIFI 7 devices and could possibly complicate the connection of all my wifi4 and 5 devices through Smartconnect. Glad I saw this video , not really worth it at this point for me.

Yes right now makes the setup of the router very complex and unless you have lots of WiFi 7 devices not benefit. But is good to test out :)
