    The great fascination numismatic coins have always held for me is the history implicit in their existence. Who first held this coin? What did they spend it on? Who last held it? Was it lost, and if so, how did that make them feel? It's not so much the coins, themselves, as the many anonymous people who handled them. =^[.]^=
