  • You can strengthen your back and improve postural stability by using a band or cable system to exercise your rhomboids. Position the bands at about chest high, place your hands at a 45 degree angle and pull back with your elbows.
    Focus on pinching your shoulder blades together and hold the contracted position for 1-2 seconds. Do 25 repetitions to focus on Type 1 muscle fibers for postural stability.
