- Well, our time in Cuenca has come to an end. But because I enjoyed it so much I decided to stay in Ecuador for longer and visit some other cities. Before I left, however, I had to take one last walk around the center of Cuenca and revisit all the places we've been during our stay. Luckily, because Cuenca has such a pleasant and walkable center, it was a pleasure to walk around this neighborhood for an hour or so. And, at the end of our walk, we stumbled into a full on fiesta. Gotta love Cuenca!

Beautiful neighborhood! So many cool murals 🤩
Nice City.
Such a beautiful city. I can see why you enjoyed your time there
The little town I live in has a thing called band festival. High school bands from all over the state come and its a big deal here. Nothing like what's going on in Cuenta though. wow that's a parade.
Hope you extend your time in Cuenca !!!!!!!!!
Where did you stay ? Happy? Safe? your 'stuff safe?
@@BPe-ie9je i stayed at the hotel aleros in centro historico. Cuenca is very safe as long as you use common sense like you would in any city. Most you would have to worry abouy is pickpockets in the very crowded tourist areas.
@@GarryMikal did hotel have small fridge, stove in sink,,,,,,go to mercado, make a smoothe etc..??? Cash, thinggs like that hotels alot of keys out. Felt safe?
@@BPe-ie9je it had a half size fridge but no stove. I felt safe there, and felt safe leaving my stuff in the room when I went out. The staff was very nice and i spoke with the owner often as he was working there almost every day. I met his family one day too. It was that kind of a place. Would recommend it for sure.
What was u favorite dish...???
@@estelamino6356 probably encebollado or tigrillo. Very tasty!
