well study shown that intake of peppermint tea (male rats) caused drop in testosterone level 25% while spearmint 68% - so in general if you male - stay da fuq away of either if you want to have a boner :D
Here you have a list of testosterone killers:
      1. Flax seeds
      2. Cooking oils
      3. Omega 6 polyunsaturated fatty acids
      4. Mint
      5. Alcohol
      6. Licorice
      7. Soy products
      8. Trans fats
      peace and stay stiff :D
p.s. aa and I forgot about mouth washing liquid - which is definitely No.1 forbidden for a man, cuz it eliminates bacteria in your saliva inside your mouth that will produce 50% of Nitric Oxide (NO), which is gas responsible for transportation and Growth Hormone and opening your vessels and blood distribution over your body. during aging it is dropping 50% naturally (comparing 25 y.o. and 40y.o. male) and this is the reason why lately L-arginine become popular (to compensate the level of this NO which can be btw produced by saliva from some green vegetables)

~ What a great video! This is *exactly* what I was looking for. I just pulled the lemon balm out of my garden thinking it was as invasive as some of the other minds....then I saw your video....I run out two minutes later, to put the lemon balm back in the garden. Too funny... Thank you, for the awesome information, from your new subscriber!

Oh that’s too funny!! Glad you saved it! Lol. It will not send out tubers and spread like traditional mint plants, but it will get bigger every year and re seed and get bushy - easy fix with some cutters and a spade. And the fragrance is amazing! Thanks for sharing your story! 😂

I have decided to try to encourage more bees and butterflies in my part of UK, so, for a bit of fun, I have planted a strawberry mint and a creeping thyme on a small patch of rough ground to see what happens! I hope they will spread, at least a little!
Thank you. This is a beautiful video by, if I may say so, a beautiful presenter.

Depending on what nutrients the plant has an even when it's picked these mints will have slightly different taste I can say for sure the chocolate mint is one of my favorites and at certain times during the day it does resemble Nature's Andes Candies to me at certain times with certain plants I can definitely taste an under note of chocolate it's amazing as tea when picked at the right time

I love our lemon balm. It likes to spread via seeding.
We also have something that was called "sweet mint". I had never heard of it, but it's doing well. Doesn't smell as strongly as peppermint. Have you heard of it?
Then there's the "cat mint." It's not catnip, though. It's lovely, likes a hot, dry area in our garden; it gets over 5 feet tall every year. There's a lovely aroma by it on a sunny afternoon, which I don't notice with the other mints here.
I'll certainly get some bedding plants of the different varieties I can find, next time I visit one.
    Thanks for the terrific video.

Will container mints survive winter? Or is there something that needs to be done to save them through the winter?

@@sharonross4535 you don't want the roots to freeze, otherwise the plant will die. I would dig a hole near the house, big enough to fit the entire pot up to the brim, put it in the hole. Cut the mint plant down to 3-4 inches (dry what you cut for mint tea this winter!) Then mulch with dry leaves, dry grass clippings, etc. When it gets a little warm again in the spring, Check fornew growth - time to lift the pot,.

How long does it takes for peppermint seeds to grow?

  • @patriciagonzales7258

I just started growing mint and I pulled a hand full and rinsed it real good and put it in a container with water. After a few day I noticed about 20 little black balls in the water, so I threw out the water and rinsed the mint again real good and placed it in fresh water again. After a few hours about 5 black balls appeared in the water again. What is wrong with my mint? Are these bugs???

I ordered peppermint seeds on Am-azon and it does not look like her peppermint and does not taste like peppermint. It looks more like the lemon mint she showed us and has a balmy lemon kind of weird flavor. I don't like it for mint tea. I think you and I just got the wrong seeds somehow. Here's a clue I think; if they produce seeds then perhaps they are not the hybrid of spearmint x watermint as peppermint is supposed to be. I have read that peppermint is not supposed to produce seeds or at least not viable seeds. I am new at this. Next summer I'm trying a different source. This was a let-down.
