- In this video we will be rerooting and restyling Monster High G3 Abbey Bominable. I think a lot of people were excited when the stock photos of Abbey dropped. I love her Y2k aesthetic and long hair. The only problem is, the team decided to give her polypropylene hair. While this hair type can be workable sometimes, most of the time its more of a hassle than its worth. 2. I love the curly hairstyle you gave her. It really suits her
3. Love the lip repaint. Her lips are so much more defined now.
4. The whole look just accentuates her facial features more. The designers said that she was modelled after Nepalese women and I think that is beautiful.
5. I like how you spoke about the PR situation. You were actually logical about it instead of like how people have been going above and beyond to bully the creator or insult them. As you said: point valid, delivery off.
Your perspective on why your channel is important to you is powerful and what you have to say about the PR situation is also very valid and worth talking/hearing about. I think some people like to keep the nuance and humanity side out of conversations that involve hobbies, but it is important to understand when our reality becomes skewed with prejudice on every level. I haven't done my first reroot yet, but I haven't seen the tape on the finger tip yet, and I'm SO grateful you used it on video, because I'm the clumsiest person I know and I just know I'd stab myself once per strand otherwise, and till now, I'd just been bracing myself for that.

You can get a similar effect doing braids. The bigger you make them, the bigger the waves will be. I did in a Raimbow High and I love the result.
how do you curl the ends with braids though? I hate the look of uncurled ends
@@skeetulrich6988 I just curl the end of the braids with my fingers and hold them using a rubber band not too tigh. I´m sorry, my english is not very good...😮💨
New subscriber here! Absolutely adore how your Abbey turned out! I was also considering rerooting her (after my very first core g3 Clawdeen reroot ended super successfully!) I still haven't gotten my hands on her yet though. Waiting for that wide release so I can hopefully find her on store shelves in person. As for the MH dolls I'm most looking forward to, I'm actually super excited for the Hissfits pack with Purrsephone and Meowlody. Their g3 designs look so cute to me and im looking forward to tackling those cute little twin buns if Mattel doesn't give them to me out of the box. Congrats on the 100k! I am really excited for Draculaura: Bite in the Park♡ I love her hair so much! The park accessories, umbrella, and tea cups are to die for! I am also looking forward to seeing and acquiring Skulltimate Secrets wave 3 Draculaura, Twyla, and Toralei. Also super stoked to see promo photos for the Werecat Twins!! Abbeys designer revealed the reason why abbey isn't availabel anywhere is because she sells out so fast that mattel hasn't enought Abbey dolls so the realise got delayed for some months :)

I’m in love with this new Abbey, she was the only original g1 doll I really didn’t care for. I liked how her skin was frosted/shimmery, but overall she just wasn’t really giving yeti. But this g3 Abbey is actually unique and is giving yeti and is GORGEOUS. She’s the first g3 doll I picked up! Tho her hair is polly, the color blend is beautiful I really really love it!

I ended up ordering her early and got her for a bit too much but honestly I don’t care as she’s my favorite I ended up boil washing her hair and it helped a lot I’ve restyled her hair and I’m really happy with her I think I’ll end up buying another for retail price and reroot

Abbey is almost impossible to find in Canada at retail price, my sister finally managed snatch one today for me for my birthday gift later this month, it was a arduous hunt, but damn is she worth it, probably one of the prettiest playline dolls to come out this year

You absolutely can! Poly is a little stiffer though so it may not lay the same. Also her hair will be a lot shorter than shown. ☺️ Hopefully that helps.
love the restyle, me personaly im not a big fan of g3 abbey, she's gorgeous but when i saw her in person i didn't like her at all, i picked up a monster ball clawdeen instead

Hi Keezy, can I ask what amount of each you used to mix the cupcake and serenity colors? Did you do half of one with all of the other? I'm trying to order some hair for my future Abbey reroot as well, and yours turned out the perfect colors so I figured I'd try to use your reroot as a sort of guide (if that's okay with you of course).

The curling iron has to be set to the right temp. Always use a temperature controlled heat tool. 🙂

I have never heard of that happening and customizers have been using fabri tac for years now.

Okay well since you want to know if I have Abby I did get her but I did not get her like couple days ago I got her like about like a month or a week ago I got her on Amazon 40 cuz my mom bought my mom. It was the best more than 50 and 60 so I have her but I should have waited because now they have her at Target and I think Walmart but it's okay at least I have her and she's the best I like her more than her G1 LOVE HER but my favorites like a new thing that is coming out is probably going to be clawdeen and draculaura 2 pack I'm soo excited 🧊💜🧊💜
