In this video, I find myself a shiny Finizen without even touching my controller! All it takes is a bit of Outbreak knowledge and some patience! Have you managed to find a shiny without moving? I did this exact hunt about a week ago 🤣 had mime in that spot that has a rock nearby so I just stood there and watched. I was using Humungo Power sandwich to try and get Palafin the Great. Ended up getting 2 Finizen, but neither were big, although one had a Brave nature, which is funny aesthetically for a Palafin.
Half mine have shown up in the background when I was battling trainers or other mons. My Gyrados showed up when I was just sitting on the shore by the water not moving
Omg the luck I got just by watching your video! I was having a finizen outbreak mass too and then I start watching your video while auto-battling the finizen, hoping for the best...then suddently, when you saw your shiny, I saw a shiny finizen too :o !!! Thanks a lot ahah!!

Shiny hunting is way more fun in scarlet and violet with the way they do the overworks shiny. It’s so annoying trying to run into every Pokémon checking if it’s shiny. It’s much better in scarlet and violet.
I will respectfully disagree lol but we’re all different! I’m glad you find it more fun I just hope they don’t ONLY do it this way every game moving forward!
@@ThedomiNATION I'll have to respectfully disagree with your respectful disagreement. Full odds hunting can be more satisfying, but for people with busy schedules like me it isn't ideal unless necessary.
@@ThedomiNATION i disagree with that opinion, is not to for me having to encounter 10,000 pokemon full odds cause i dont know if the poor thing is shiny or not, unfun and time consuming to be honest.
I agree with the mix of overworld and encounter, I wish they would have kept the shaking grass feature from sword and shield
i’m ok with overworld shinies but i really hate the sandwiches increasing odds, you already got 15 chances for a shiny pokemon in the wild the sandwiches is just overkill
Yeah that’s why I stick to full odds! (But I’ve been using sandwiches to get all the different marks on shinies 🤫)
@@ThedomiNATION i like outbreaks if that counts as “full odds” lol but they should’ve added pokeradar or something similar aswell

I tried this method few days ago and in the end failed at least 2 Finizen, just because they go away too fast you just have no time to get to them. I found 2 finizen near Levincia, where you just swim few meters to town reset and they are right in front of you, so it's almost impossible to lose it in the ned.
Yeah levincia is definitely the spot for them but I just wanted to get one without touching my controller lol
Too funny I just found a finizen outbreak and was looking on RUclips to see if what I thought was happening was in fact happening. As I started to watch the video my purple boy swam by and I got him! Easiest hunt ever.
Over world sound effects and indicators are good for people like myself who are visually impaired. It'd be great if the "SHINY HUNTING IS TOO EASY NOW! 🤬🤬😡" Crowd kept this in mind. Which is why it honestly sucked when they took away the alert ( or notification noise ) that was in Legends Arceus. And it's not just people who are visually impaired either. Color blind people should be able to enjoy shiny hunting as well. Disabled people should have a priority over shiny Pokémon not feeling "special anymore." Sorry or whatever I guess.
I think they should have an adjustable colorblind mode in Pokémon games. It’s ridiculous that they don’t. Also maybe a nice middle would be a subtle sparkling effect shinies have but no sound. Similar to that of let’s go and Pokémon rumble! I didn’t like the noise shinies made in legends as I didn’t like the idea of shinies announcing that they were somewhat near you but I understand where your coming from.

Edit: I think it's great that shiny hunting has gotten more accessible, please don't get me wrong! I'm just saying the easier it gets to hunt shinies, the more shinies there will be, therefore shinies will become less valuable. If shinies become "too easy" to get, for me personally I think that takes the fun out of shiny hunting. But that's a "me-problem", I'm not trying to say that no one should be able to get a shiny Pokémon without investing hundreds of hours. A shiny is a shiny is a shiny after all.
Original comment: I absolutely agree about shiny hunting getting too easy and making shiny mons be less valuable. It's the exact reason I'm hunting shiny Magikarp in BdSp with the old rod. It's hella inefficient but I want it to be special. There's tons of easier ways to get a shiny Magikarp, but it'll feel so much more rewarding finally getting it after so long. At least I hope so lol. Been at it for months. Anyways congrats on shiny Finizen! Awesome mon with a great shiny. Always count on shiny hunters to break the game lol.
Yeah! That’s why I love shiny hunting in older games! But even sometimes shinies can fell very special in this game! I was blown away when I got my shiny blaze breed tauros! I’m just glad they didn’t force us to raise the shiny rates like they did in legends arceus!

I disagree. Some us have full time jobs and kids that don't have the time to do 100+ encounters a day. I've been playing Pokemon since 97 and I love this new way of shiny hunting.

Just outside the icerend shrine! South of the asado desert! But the location doesn’t matter too much as long as the outbreak is well spaced from the shore!
I used the same strategy for cyclizar!
Oh yeah I totally forgot you could do it for that one too! You gotta be a bit quicker with cyclizar though lol
I reset the finizen spawn at levincia to get my shiny it was like 12 resets

I like overworld shinies i never went for shinies ever until now because battling the most fun to me so running around grass all day for nothing is a complete waste of my time
Overworld shinies have a place in Pokémon for sure! I just don’t think they should only be doing them for every game moving forward! I think them alternating between traditional encounters and overworld would be a great balance!
Legends arceus had mass outbreaks before but yes it does have it

I am basically going crazy because I cant find the correct outbreak. Do you have any tips for it?
Apparently if you use an encounter power sandwich for the type of Pokémon you need, and stand in the area the outbreaks can appear, you get a higher chance of getting outbreaks of that type when you reroll them. But it seems only really effective with encounter power 2/3. So I guess try to make an encounter power water level 3 sandwich and reroll outbreaks while being in an area where finizen can outbreak and if you don’t get one, just reset so you don’t waste an herba mystica
@@ThedomiNATION Thanks for the suggestion but before you made the comment I found a Finizen outbreak that was good enough to AFK and I found the Finizen while I was playing Pokemon Showdown.

Apparently I seen another shiny but idk what it was
When the trainer card says you’ve seen a shiny, it means you’ve actually encountered it. So if one spawns and you don’t see it, it doesn’t count for the trainer card!

@@rodjilius that’s very interesting… maybe someone stole it! Or maybe it just didn’t notice the sparkles after encountering it
if you've evolved your cacnea then it'll count for a 2nd shiny so that might be it
The shiny finizen looks nice! Its not that valuable because shinys are so easy to get nowadays but it’s Still a cool shiny
Shiny value is strictly personal! Different colored pixels on a screen have never had any sort of value! That’s why I like to keep shinies full odds nowadays as I still value them myself!
@@ThedomiNATION I always value shinies I find (that have my OT). A full odds/random shiny is a different feeling completely versus those hunted with modifiers like shiny charm & sandwiches.
