Quick tip for the UFC. If you tap LTR twice, it will default to letters, so you don't have to constantly use it when entering text. Tap it once again to default back to numbers.
Hey Cap, the TAD one can be done a lot easer, after creating that mark point and hovering over it with the cursor, on the left side OSB row there is a "2?" if you click that it will automatically make it a waypoint, instead of having to do it via the CDU
The WP2 wasn't named correctly because the name of markpoint doesn't transfer over when you make it a waypoint. You need to have the name in your scratchpad(just write it, don't input it) and click '2?'
This has been on my procrastination list a very long time....... the problem has been getting past item 1, the one on my list I never fail to procrastinate away........ 1. Procrastinate Man you are the planetary oracle on essentially every aircraft; thank you so much for your excellence. Oh...... "nuttin' poisonal" here but over the years I've followed your tutelage, I'd had a mental image of the judge "Louie" on the American Idol series :) Saw you in a video, thought I'd cast you in a biography flick as a member of the 80's bands 'U.K.' or 'Asia' :)
Is there an actual “Pause” button in the game or is that only ESC? I know there’s LCTRL+Z and LSHFT+Z to slow and speed up time. Also…the GBL Gun Bore Line has a hashed circle reticle above it and I’ve always wondered what this reticle functions as at the VERRRY top of HUD. Anyone?
@@AFluffyJackal Do you happen to know the key binding for "BRK"? I've been debating to get a HOTAS Thrustmaster for X-Mas or not, but I've actually been pretty decent learning on keyboard and mouse.
@@AFluffyJackal Also, do you know the Discord for a HAWG or Hoggit community? Looked all over RUclips and can't find it. I would love to have a wing-man to work with sometime or just a community of people that love A-10C.
I followed this to the letter, it will not create a new waypoint for me. I’ve watched other videos they’ve done at the same exact way as you I followed the steps exactly and it is not working
Guys, I have a problem - both with A10C and Viggen, when I create a waypoint with latitude and longitude, it's always off by about a kilometer, whereas a second of longitude is about 100ft. Am I doing something wrong?
@@blackknight3311 hey, yeah, because since I learned how to use UTM coordinates, I never had this problem again. And I also learned that Viggen has no INS, and it's just the compounded error in its navigation system.

Roger just spotted that once editing the vid lol doh!
You can also enter the name in the scratchpad before you click it.
Awesome. I was trying to do the mark point way just the other day. Couldn’t do it. Now I can. Thanks for your hard work!
Love the simplicity of your tutorials..have really helped me to learn fast...A+++
Even better at 0.85 speed to avoid Reaper info. overload. Love Grim Reapers, but sometimes I gotta whoa him up a little.
Nicely done again! Although it seems complex for a newbie like me , but still Wonderful and simply explained!

Exactly the video i was looking for. Perfectly explained. Well done.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Cap & The Reapers should be on ED’s payroll. These tutorials are superb.
Feel free to remind mr Wagner :)

When given a target from JTAC to input the grid location of the target does it need to be set to mission?
Thank you
So lets say I know where the targets are, could I set a waypoint on every target and drop smart bombs in ccip onto said waypoints?
These videos are invaluable to me
is there anyway to do this in the cockpit or do you have to do this prior to mission launch?
If I do a cold start and take off, the line to the waypoint in the Hud is not there, why?
You can also make the TAD SOI by clicking OSB-15
thx

The "BRK" AKA Pause button should work ingame as for the reticle at the top I'm assuming the Circle its seems to be where the aircraft is pointing

Awesome, top job Cap, you are indeed Super
thx
It didn't auto-switch waypoints because you didn't create a flight plan, if I am not mistaken.
agree thx

I couldnt make waypoint....
