Thanks, mate. Bit of a manual reader, myself, and rarely resort to video instruction. How a 671 page manual could not manage to effectively summarise the various AGM-65 procedures like this video beats me. From both the Combat Employment and Checklists sections, I repeatedly followed the steps and could not get a Maverick to drop off the rail (barring one single D, that I do not know what stroke of luck caused it to launch).
Well done, instructor sir. Thumbs up.
PS: Ah, yes, forgot to add. To boot, the "official" Training Mission for the AGM-65 is broken, too. Hero.
12:45 Easier way to check if your TGP is SPI is to look on HUD (bottom left corner shows what acts as SPI - STPT / TGP / TDC etc.) Great video as always.

Grim: “look at the power of that thing”
So hard to get a lock with Mav sensor and it's not very high res. TGP seems much better but more involved to slave to it. I have to be miles away to get it all done and release before I get to the target. 😂 Practice practice. Thanks Cap.

Yeah but you can do it all from like 50 miles out so you have plenty of space to work with. I usually start a target at a little under 50 miles, get in range, fire then turn around at about 13 or so miles and find a new target with my TGP and repeat
If you make the MAV track the TGP SPI it sometimes doesnt lock on but if you just tap the MAV targetting it will aquire the target. I had a NO TRACK LAUNCH INHBT because the MAV X hairs didnt close on target but a little jolt and it will find it. For buildings you can enter the coordinates to make a waypoint and slave the MAV to the waypoint and just cycle waypoints and fire the missiles one after the other.
Very good video. I prefer using the targeting pod to set targets as spi’s because it allows you to do that at greater distances. Then it is just a matter of waiting until you get in range to pick them off. Thumbs up!
It’s been 2 years where that video on rifling off 6xAGM using mark points? TMS Right short for mark point and switch flight plan steering from “mission” to “mark” and use the DMS forward & aft to cycle between marks while HUD is SOI?

Nice vid! when i ground stabilize and try to slew immediately after, the ground stabilization is canceled and it's pretty hard to aim.. I'll try this force correlate to see if it's work! thank you

Well how cool ! all followable and with my WINWING setup - its possible. 1 weird thing - I dont have the MAV button available on my rt MFCD ? Im running the Instant Mission using AGM D & H, what am I missing ?
[Also Im not sure how to "Turn on/off" the Laser ?] I see my cheat sheet shows NOse Wheel Steer is IN AIR "LASE" - they couldnt add the "R" ? I guess memory and disk space is a premium.

Been struggling with AGM65D and moving targets. I use the TGP and point track, then TMS long and slave the maveric from there. When I fire the maveric it hits where the SA19 was, not where it is. I can’t for the life of me find what I’m doing wrong. Please tell me??

Hey Cap great video again, thanks. Time 15:14 of video you fire the 1ste Maverick and than Slew left and then (after it locks) firing another one out of your Lau-88 set. How do you do that? Because when i'm firing the 1st one out of a LAU-88 set the wagon wheel is set to center and I have to slew that all the way down again to the target and this cost me way more time. It's seems that you have set all 3 Mavericks on your LAU-88 set looking at the same targets. Whats the trick? Thanks.
Well that's strange because I am just using the default setting. According to the manual the second maverick should automatically slew to the fire location of the previous. I do remember seeing setting in the Mav screen to "boresight", could this mean to re-boresight the next mav, and could u haev that turned on? Also worth checking for any settings in DSMS and IFFCC.

Good morning I would like to know a command that I do not find, is the HDJ adjustment missiles Maverick and I have to activate it manually do you know where this command is in the Hotas?
The ADJ OSB allows you to adjust the boresight position of the Maverick.
To do so, slew the Maverick to the desired boresight position and then press OSB 7. The
next time you cage the missile to boresight, it will automatically cage to the set position.

Hi
Just do long click (around 3 seconds) on any of MFCD's bottom buttons (you should have by default from left to right: "TGP", "STAT", "MFCD" and "MSG".. best is to click on "MSG" as except in multiplayer it's quite useless). then you'll have on both right and left side of MFCD all the display option to replace the menu you just clicked on by another one.
In our case, assuming you long clicked on "MSG", just search for "MAV" (if I remember correctly it's on right side) and doucle click on it, it will put "MAV" button instead of "MSG" ;)
You can customize your MFCDs by doing this "long click" stuff on each bottom button, according to your personnal choices
So I currently started playing the 1st campaign missions and I just did the first night mission. I believe I had 6 of the H (I think) versions on the plane and with the seeker eye I couldn’t see any of the vehicles on the ground with the seeker eye. Was I just using the wrong version or is that just how it is?? Thanks in advanced.
BADMAMERJAMMA make sure boat switch is centered to start. I believe you can move it fwd/aft to change the contrast settings. You may also need to adjust the brightness/contrast on the mfd displaying the Mav picture. Do this using the rocker switches near the mfd
H would be the electro-optical, so might have trouble seeing in the dark? Off the top of my head D versions with their IR seekers should have an easier time finding targets at night.

How the hell is he locking, what is that key bind he never says
Depending on mode it will do it automatically when cross-hairs are on target or use TMS UP, Auto sucks balls. I cant get "auto" to lock up a vehicle to save my life, just locks up random terrain. About the smallest thing i can get it to lock onto are very large buildings
