Helaena and Alicent were beloved by small folk while Rhaenyra not much while in show it is the other way around of course because Saint Rhaenyra

Alicent was not particularly beloved by the smallfolk. As for Rhaenyra, she was very popular until she raised taxes, and retained broader support than the Greens throughout the war. You guys are making far too much of the formulation of a sentence out of context.

@@simonbourdin2952 she was when she was young because she was the only child and was pretty later when she got sibling and was no longer main focuse she became fat after her pregnancies they stopped calling her like that and she never cared about small folk so they never cared to defend her for some reason they loved Helaena and her kids

@@queenxx1690 You're mistaken. The book explicitly says that she was welcomed in KL, and that smallfolk all across the riverlands took up arms of their own initiative to fight for her.
