Definitely a cardio workout. Everytime I land something 10 feet away or further I always find myself sprinting towards my craft. Usually just from excitement or horror haha
Don't take this the wrong way, but I love watching you panicking when you maiden your wings. It reminds me of the feeling I have when I'm maidening mine or am flying in a sketchy location! Glad you got it sorted the second time out, looks like a great little wing
Flying with a reversed camera was indeed a weird feeling and only added to the natural anxiety of the maiden :-) But thats part of the fun the adrenaline rush!
actually hilarious cause I bought a runcam2 second hand, didn't realize image was mirrored till I tried using it as my fpv cam and that ended with my sweepings flinch in a tree, thankfully, trees are much softer than ground!
Haha I had the ailerons reversed when I maiden my mini AR wing. I first thought it was motor torque... Btw, you have your transmitter antenna horizontal and your receiver's vertical. That would eventually cause poor range.
It's the other way, with auto-trim you land, disarm then exit auto-trim (now watch me go and check my notes and find I'm wrong lol). At least yours flies better than mine that wallows around the sky like a walrus (exact same setup too other than the camera, although it balances on the cig, I'm thinking it needs a bit more nose weight).
Yeah I always seem to get Autotrim and Autotune confused. After reading my notes I know that Autotrim stays switched on until after landing then just disarm and Autotune is turned off before landing so when you land it does not mess up the settings and you need to save and reboot. Hoping to get the plane to fly much better in my next video part 3 tuning session. I don't think this plane will ever be that smooth in any degree of wind but will be great fun on those calm warm summer evenings.
Great video sir.those metal gear servo you have in your video are those 12gram servo. I possible do you still have the link you purchased them from .thanks for the info 👍

Thank you for making these videos and sharing your experience. I also have the DJI setup and I’m going to be using the Caddx Vista. I have a question though...how are you using the DJI goggles with the TBS and Tarsier setup to get an analog picture on your DJI googles??
What will happen, when it turn by side to your receiver on long distance? I think you can lose your control signal. Shouldn't both antennas be vertical?
how did you get the fc to mount to your 3d print and where can i find your air vent as its not on thinigverse great video i am doing mine same as yours
I drilled the feet on the mount and then put countersunk bolts from below up into the brass threaded stand offs on the F411WSE. I will pop the Naca duct up on Thingyverse later and send you the link.

So it is not necessary to configure a switch and launch flight mode if the always autolaunch setting is on? How risky is that? Tx for the cli values. I have a weight of 250gm and am using a 2S Lipo. I am not sure of you have the same weight/battery, if not what changes if any would be needed? I did see that you are not using 100% throttle for takeoff.

One decent nose dive and the battery is going through the tarsier. Still not 100% happy with my zohd 250g. Too much wobble on the roll axis and too sensitive on pitch but bizarrely not enough authority to do a tight loop. Honestly my $5 dollar depron sub 250 wing ( flite test dart) fly's far better. But wow is the ZOHD dart 250 efficient.
Good tip, although the anti slip surface and strap works well I will add a small piece of foam in front of the lipo in case I get a hard impact. I have not had any decent weather to go and do a tuning session yet to see how well this thing really flies. From the maiden I can see it does not like any degree of wind very much, but with the HQ Prop 4.3x3 and 4S its a zippy little thing. Some carbon spars along the fuselage would be a good idea, with all that weight up front you could lose the front end in a crash
