That's Merica
pretty easy when you don't have to use a clutch
That class is amazing!!! Think of this... When ProStock first started in 1970 they were running low 10's and Grumpy Bill Jenkins made the first 9.99 pass... now we are running that fast 302" at 3100lbs!!
Simply amazing
Loved his shoutout to the Glidden's.
Coyote Stock is up there with being one of the greatest classes of racing, ever. For me, its a toss up between NMRA C/S and NHRA P/S
Google Sucks I dig the user name! 😎
No love for the OG F/S class?
i have an 83 THUNDERBIRD ijust finished putting a 351 in nice to see some one doing up these cars also have a 57 as well with a y block
That car is badass!!!! Bangs second while wheels are still in the air!!!!
T-birds are underrated
Dude that T Bird is the koolest.👍👍👍Fo.Mo.Go.😀🏁🏁🏁
Oen of the most impressive and interesting classes for sure. I had the chance to talk to last year’s NMRA winner and he was VERY nice and humble.
Just realized how old this video is but I love that car! Special place in my heart for the '87-88 aero birds! ❤
Sweet Thunderbird
Super cool car brother.
Has the performance to back up the car's great looks !!!
LOVE IT !
80's Tbird, A nice mullet on the driver would make the whole package even more badass
Love that year T-Bird. Very cool set up.
Nice ride. Excellent driving.
Beautiful Bird and that Coyote is just a marvel.
I miss the Joker car. Sobrino's a funny guy. He has some old videos of the 🃏 in outlaw trim going 9's. It's mind blowing how light these cars really are. 400lbs of ballist. This is modern day technology folks. A sealed engine going low 10s. Fun fun stuff
One of the VERY BEST videos I’ve seen!!! 3 Thumbs Up!!!
Thanks.
THATS ONE BAD BIRD!!!! Love it! Car is clean as hell too
"What's in the BOOOOX?" Nice touch.
Ive seen this car in person, its a weapon! The weights in the back were legendary
I'm a half an hour north of this guy! Cool T-Bird, and that's the way to shift! Awesome 💪
Great video and interview Evan, thank you!
May you, your family, and your friends, stay safe, and healthy!

CS is the BEST class in drag racing. He's onto something with the aero
Great video Evan!!! Thanks for sharing!!! Man, the Coyote rips!!!

I was in Bradenton also, spectator your rock brother you will win your class continue what your doing. I will be there next year in 2021. Well that makes me want to get another fox body and go play again. Thanks for the video!
Holy shit that inside view of a wheelie was bad ass!
That T-Bird sure can fly💪
0:07 Looking like Dom's Charger interior wheelie shot from the first Fast and Furious. Bravo 👏
I wish 1320 or the like, would cover these events!
Bad ass car from Canada baby yup
Really enjoying all your content on RUclips, and thanks for the years of great stuff with MM&FF. You'll have may more subs in no time. Keep em coming please.

Chad's always putting on a show! Great racer and car.
Went had I never heard of this before? I like the concept sealed engines, all the same size motors etc. That's cool
Good video.super sick ass car.wow.thanks for content
That is a sick ride! Congrats man. Coyote stock is a fun class to watch.
Awesome work .
Holy shit 3100lbs with 450lbs of ballast thats like 2650lbs? Didn't know the tbirds could get so light!
I had the Turbo Coupe (black)....that car was a looker and a runner.
Thats one badass T-Bird and that Coyote V8 almost sounds like an indy car.
You are a Humble legend mate! Well done!
Sweet Sexy Humble Thunderbird😍😍..Congrats Chad..
saw this car at the NMRA bradenton. looked like he rode the wheelie the whole damn 1/4 mile
Hes dropping big hints.
I had an 87 T-Bird with a factory 5.0 that ran mid 10s (0-60!).
Great video. Keep up the great work.
Thanks
Very cool car great choice Evan!
I miss my Turbo Coupe!! I have a 92' 5.0 sport now
i had a 86 black red pin stripe turbo coupe. Miss it.
@@Silkmaster4200 Nice! I had the 88' Red with 5speed ..Got it in 95'
@@philthyco1 Got mine from my brother back in 03. It's also a 5 speed. Fully loaded leather power seats and power antenna. I remember fifth gear only 1k RPM less difference than 4th gear. It wasn't overdrive gear. Fast i had it going up too was around 131. Still pulling. They say stock will go up to 153.
@@Silkmaster4200 Yup they hall ass for sure..Mine boosted 18psi lol
@@philthyco1 I set it up to 15psi on mine.
Super rad T-Bird!
❤ turbo coupe Thunderbird s. My favorite car
cause ford doesnt need more than 302ci to be fast lol good shit man
Straight up driving ninjas!!!
That is too cool Chad.
Thanks Jerry!
I've always loved the T birds also the cougars from that era bad ass that's a stock motor
Badass👍🏻
That Tbird taking off!
True blue baby yeh!!!!!
Had V8 T Birds last 20years. Some rust and alternators only maintenance needed.
I think the only ballast in this car should be the racer's testicles.
Excellent video. 🇦🇺🇨🇦
It's a cool class. It's a shame chevy didn't go after a class like that with ls stuff. Stick cars fo lyfe!
They do and it’s called Chevy Performance Stock and Coyote stock races against them in the NMRA vs NMCA cross over races.
@@GT500VENOM at one time the rules only allowed autos. Idk if it allows stick cars yet.....hence why i said stick cars fo lyfe
Yes they allow stick cars in the class. They have for years. It just that a lot of the guys don’t want the hassle of running a stick I guess. The class would be quicker with a sorted out stick combo and I tell them every time we run them in the cross over race.
@@GT500VENOM oh sweet. Be fun to get involved with that. Love me some stick cars.
Looks great. Coyotes now hunting in packs.
Wow. Great channel. Great car great driver
I love the sound of these cars. Do they run a x or h pipe? Do you know what mufflers they usually run?
X-pipe with flowmaster outlaw mufflers
@@cbgb6578 Thanks

In a world where the manual trans is nearly extinct, this class is almost exclusively manual. If I recall correctly, the auto trans was not competitive in this class. Who says autos are better than manuals? Just kidding, kind of.
Auto's have their place in bracket racing but stirring your own cogs is how God intended it.
God I hate autos! Idc how much faster they are it’s just straight boring shit to watch
Ooooou weee!! Man I miss DR, can’t wait to get to the strip, after all this social distancing,, ReVan you have been my go to 4 years MMFF, I need your recommendation, I need a better plug that stock for my 2010, GT500 it’s stock but I need new plugs,, what day you Brother?? Love you Man keep this thing Going!!
coyotes are badazz
Hell yea!
Love t birds
Badass! 👍🏻
Powered by Ford👍🏼
Nice fast coyote screaming and screaming at
Awesome car❤🚀👍🏿👍🏿💪🏿
Love it! sick of seeing fox bodies at the strip. I would love to make a drag car out of the 90s t bird.
Awesome ''
How does its weight compare to a Fox in the same class? Is there a minimum weight? Other than being different, do you think there are any advantages to this T-Bird over a Fox? Better aero?
Minimum class weight is 3,100 lbs.
Does the dude with the tbird have a shop up in Hamilton.. and do they provide tuning amd after market parts is they have a shop
Dude...what happened to MM&FF!? I’m married with children and that mag was my only escape!
You mean the fact that it's gone?
Yes! What has happened to the car magazines!? I like video content but nothing beats holding A car mag in your hand, reading the articles and the smell of them! Every time I opened a mag it brought me back to my high school days!
Iam like the TBird better anyway, mustangs are many, I like different, variety is king in my book
Im surprised a 10 speed and convertor hasn't snatched this class yet.
Autos suck! Manuals for the win!!!
Stock oil pump gears!! An they ganging off the Rev limter like crazy!!!
No they all have the billet oil pump gears installed in them and resealed before shipped out to the racers.
Are the engines Gen 2 or 3?
Are the engines completely stock? Are they moded
That’s a bad mamma Jamma
I Love my _ T-Birds

Great build brother.
Keep up the Awesome work.
I own 2 supercharged T-Birds
Blk 89 auto sc. 1 of 2500
Red 94 5spd sc 1 of 737 built
SC stands for SuperCoupe
I rather put in Windsor 5.0 V8 with a new EFI 4 throttle bodies. Should work as good. Better torque numbers. Especially OHV. Plus 4” bore. Just my opinion. Not a fan putting new engines in old cars. Having new parts in old engines. That’s fine for me lol
What do you get when you cross a fox and a coyote? A 10 second race car.
Six to Seven second mark of this video >> "Air Shifting".
Is the red button on the top of the shifter line lock? If I am wrong...what is it? Are you guys run a WOT box for no lift shifts or does the trans just let you do that?
The red button is both the Linelock and 2-step and we do not run a wot box they would slow it down.. just pull the gear on the shift the G101A it.' goes right in the next gear effortlessly.
Thunderbirds have the fastest lap record in NASCAR history. 212 MPH average. Beat that.. !!
Sealed crate engine!
Did you have to modify the engine bay and location of motor mounts to install a Coyote engine?
dry509 no it’s a UPR Kmember for a coyote swap into a foxbody. Fit in the engine bay without modification.
Wow...
hey evan, just wondering what ever happened to project stocker?
It’s getting rebuilt! Hopefully soon.
Berge Island
I hope I dont make any body mad but I have a 2015 Mustang Gt which is completely stock except for K&N filter in stock box and after market plugs which I am not going to tell you which brand but, I find this real hard to believe, unless he worked some great magic on the suspension
Chassis, suspension, clutch, and weight. You are comparing apples to watermelons. These cars are running ballast in the rear to make the minimum weight of 3100lbs. Oh, and your secret spark plugs, that’s hilarious. Lot’s to learn if you are willing to listen and Evan and these guys have been there and done it for years.
Haaaaa try that with an old pushrod 5.0 not even close wow!
No shit, 20+ years of advancement & tech, I'd hope a Coyote would outperform a stock Windsor 302. If it doesn't something's wrong...
Well yeah I guess a 480hp engine would run a bit harder than 225hp engine literally twice the power of a stock Fox engine.
Those little Windsors hold their own in Factory Stock with GT40 heads and .480 lift camshaft.
@@bryanmulligan5319 i was about to say the same thing...the coyote is faster but it dont blow it out of the water ive seen some fast 302s in factory stock. They run like what 11s 12s? Alot faster than youd think given all the stuff they gotta leave stock
@@michaelharris748 I believe they're in the 10's now? There are weight breaks for running a pushrod though and they're hardly "factory" anymore with aftermarket blocks and 2k dollar prepped unported heads, but it's still impressive none the less. The Coyote deserves much respect though. I love them both.
What’s the rule on fuel in this class?
PimoAn01 VP110 and they test it from the fuel rails every couple of passes.
